Coastal Transformation

Job was done very professionally, was well done. Took two and half days.

Went very well on the day of the install. Much delays to set up the install as they were very busy during this time and felt bad that installer fell ill. It is a family outfit. Nice owner. Appeared to do the job well. Few weeks later the lens of one solar tube was pulling down. Had to correspond several times by phone back and forth leaving messages. Installer seemed uncertain in areas if he could fit a solar tube... Price was about 20% more than Texas (where I had been happy with my solatubes in the past), but chalked it up to being a tourist town and Coastal Transformations having plenty of business. Overall, would use them again, but have to expect that customer have to make all the calls facilitating the install with reminders, etc.

the installer brought his own equipment, laid down professional grade drop cloths. He reviewed the work to be done, then apprised us after each step. The installer showed up exactly on time and completed the work on a timely basis. He went over all the paperwork and warranties again and made certain we were satisfied.

Great customer service from the beginning. Arranged their schedule on short notice so they could get the work done while we were in town (vacation home). Arrived when they said they would and couldn't even tell they had been there after as the area was left in perfect condition. Fan is definitely helping with the summer heat and keeping the house cool.

Ken, the owner, came out to look at the house and discuss whether solar tubes or skylights would be best for our living room. He arrived exactly at the time he said he would be here and gave his expert opinion and pros and cons of each type of lighting. We decided to go with the solar tubes. Ken had installed one in the 2nd bathroom for the previous owners, and I loved it. Ken called back that afternoon to schedule the date and time of the installation and said Jason would be the installer. Today was the date of the installation, and Jason arrived right on time. We talked and decided to install just one solar tube instead of two. When Jason got in the attic, he found that the 14" tube was too large and said he would install the 10". The 10" was perfect. It lights up our living room, and we do not need to have the lights on during the day. Even after the sun was setting, the amount of light was good enough to read by. Jason worked very diligently until he was finished, cleaned up after himself and moved the furniture back to its original position. I would definitely use Coastal Transformations again!

Jason showed up at the promised time. He spoke to us about the which fan was best for our size home and recommended which fan was best. We agreed at which point he went to his truck, pulled down his ladder grabbed 2 new attic fans from his truck and up on the roof he went. The fans were installed in about an hour in 90 degree heat. He was very professional, friendly and very knowledgeable about the product. He was very thorough in cleaning up and made sure we knew about the registration form as well as the federal tax forms. I would definitely recommend Coastal Transformations to my family, friends and neighbors. Excellent job done.

The Coastal transformation people came out when they promised to give us a quote, and were on time to do the work and finished when they said they would. They did it right the first time and we've had no problems with the installation or the windows. I should mention that each of our 10 windows is a different size so the custom windows was the best way to go. Also, some of our framing, done previously , needed to be rewrapped. They Aldo cleaned up everything.

I started this through Home Depot in North Myrtle Beach when I saw a display. I went to the site on the internet to see what styles or looks of glass were available. There were many designs but I settled on one that was beautiful. I called Home Depot and was told it was no longer available. I then called Coastal Transformations and explained the problem. I was told he just did that design for someone so he called the main company and Home Depot after he found he could get it. The glass design I chose was ordered and in in a week or so. The work was done shortly after. We were given a day and time and he was here as he stated. The work was done efficiently and there was nothing to cleanup. He even took the plastic off and cleaned the door and skylights. He drove a truck here which is where he took the door to cut the opening for the glass. He covered the opening until the door was replaced. The positive comments on the change of the door have been numerous. The entire inside of the living area is bright now. There is not enough words to tell you how this company worked with me and got the glass I liked. There is absolutely no doubt this company will and does improve your home with their products. CALL THEM AND THE IMPROVEMENTS THEY CAN GIVE WILL ADD TO YOUR HOME VALUE WILL INCREASE. This company is worth every cent and they are also reasonable. You too will have people complimenting your door or windows if they do that aspect of their services. WONDERFUL COMPANY AND PEOPLE.

Our living room receives very little natural light because it is located in the middle of the house. We contacted Coastal Transformation and made an appointment with them to have an installer come out and tell us our options. The installer arrived on time for the scheduled appointment. He explained the different options available for Solatubes, the price to have it installed and when he could do the installation. He arrived on time for the install, covered the area under where it was going with tarps and was finished in about an hour. Very pleased with the product and and the people from Coastal Transformations-Would definitely hire them again.
