CHD Interiors is a custom interior design firm that also sells one-of-a-kind home furnishings & accessories in retail stores in Murrells Inlet & Charleston, South Carolina. Established in 1977 by the Griffith family, CHD is built on the philosophy that your home should be a reflection of your personality. Owner and Lead Designer Lance Griffith has earned a reputation for providing quality service with an uncommon design approach. His signature style, referred to as “Lowcountry Chic,” embraces the comfortable, relaxed lifestyle of the South. Whether you enjoy traditional or contemporary interiors or a blending of the two, we encourage your design to reflect a bit of the grace and elegance of the Lowcountry style. The experienced staff at CHD has added a unique touch to projects all along the Eastern Seaboard and in the Caribbean. From spacious Manhattan lofts to luxurious estates in the Florida Keys, CHD Interiors boasts a portfolio showcasing designs from traditional to coastal to contemporary. CHD’s designers’ frequent trips to international destinations allow them access to hundreds of hand-picked antiques and assure they keep their finger on the pulse of emerging trends in the design industry domestically and abroad. Whether you prefer one-of-a-kind vintage pieces or brand-new furnishings custom made to fit your personality, Lance and the CHD team will work with you to find the perfect elements to match your style and your home. In addition to custom design, CHD has two retail locations in the Murrells Inlet and Charleston areas stocked with unique home furnishings to include accessories, antiques, fabrics, lighting, and floor and wall coverings.
