Jason responded quickly to requests for estimate. Job was scheduled & started promptly as scheduled. Pouring of concrete completed promptly.

The mortar and bricks were all crumbly and a fire hazard so everything had to be replaced. Plus they had to build a wall where the previous owners had left it open. They did a beautiful job and there was minimal mess from the job. They laid down drop cloths and so on appropriately. Then after they were done they cleaned up the area totally. I had them do work for me before. They resurfaced my chimney and built some brick steps for me. Same high quality service and work.

If you want it done right the 1st time call ARTWORK MASONRY. 2 yrs ago we paid Dutch Masonry $1,200 (middle of the estimates) to enlarge a cement patio slab and put pavers over the entire area (20 x 14). While he said he'd been a mason for 30 yrs, in less than a year the concrete between the pavers was crumbling and falling out. Dutch Masonry wouldn't come back out to see the mess he had created! The estimates for repair ranged from $400 to $1,800. Called Artwork Masonry and the secretary was helpful and arranged for the owner (Jason) to come to our home for an estimate. Within hours of seeing the patio, Jason faxed us the estimate of $1,800 and the contract. After our experience with Dutch Masonry's shoddy work we didn't know who/what to trust. The contract from Artwork covered every one of our concerns and Jason took the time to answer every question. Dealing with Jason we felt we had found a skilled, trustworthy and professional company. It was a nasty project grinding out the cement between EACH paver in such a large patio and then re-grouting between each paver. It took 4 men working hard for 3-4 days ... they were punctual, hardworking and respectfu;. They even protected the wrought iron fencing around the patio as well as the windows and house from flying cement chips. They cleaned everything up when the repair was done. They are proud of the work they do ... and should be! Hire ARTWORK MASONRY if you want the work done by an honorable, skilled professional the FIRST time.

We have a FP chimney that need mortaring some small holes and spaces between bricks. He installed a damper, adjusted the chimney top covering, and checked the interior mortar. He told us we didn't need to fill the holes, as heat would not hurt it. Wonderful man.

They are exacting, professional, honest, although they charge a bit more than others you get more than your money for it.
