Aaron Termite & Pest Control

No... They weren't nothing like they said. They showed up early. They lied about what needed to be done trying to get more business and when we attempted to discuss this, the owner got frustrated, angry and hung up. Not the way business is done. Other pest control came out and did monthly service and had no issues.

I began having Aaron Pest do pest control years ago. I liked the service men that came to my house they were on time and professional when we could get on the same page. I never liked the fact that there is no office or direct phone number where they could be reached. When they wanted to schedule an appointment they would call me and if I did not answer they would continue to call and call even late at night or early morning sometimes five and six times while I was on the phone. I am often on the phone a lot with my job so it was frustrating to try to reach them back or deal with the continual calls while I was on the other line. I decided to schedule the appointments ahead of time and asked for a courtesy call a day ahead. The first time it was fine I had the appointment in my date book. The second I did not get a call either and had forgotten but it was fine. The third time when I saw it on my calendar I had company in my home from out of state and out of the country and tried to cancel but it was late in the day when they called to confirm and the appointment was for early the next morning so they would not cancel without a charge. I was very upset considering I had company and they were still sleeping. I allowed them to come and woke up company but told him to cancel ALL appointments and said that I never got a call, he told me that they had it written in the book that they spoke to me. NO one HAD and this had been done before saying my appointment was confirmed and no one had called. So this was at least the third time that had happened. The worker also confessed that they had been getting complaints on that as well. Still I had grown to like the service worker and dealt with it. I wasn't sure what I was going to do but... when I mentioned I might cancel pest control they told me the cost of the termite bond I had purchased, would go up!!! I was angry. I was locked in but was not sure I was going to schedule an appointment again except for the termite once a year. Yesterday a house full of company again and I have my company tell me that they just got a call (after 5pm).. and that Aaron Pest had called to confirm a 9am appointment in the morning. ( I had also asked the pest company to call my cell because I never answer my home phone) I did call right back within 30 minutes and of course get an answering service, who has to page the owner. The owner calls back within five minutes but I am on the phone of course. he leaves a message that there will be a $25. charge. so I call again and they page him again.. I sat by the phone till he called back. I explained that not only did I have someone sick in the house... but a newley pregnant daughter in law who could not be here while it was being sprayed. But most of all I was angry because I had already canceled all the appointments due to this problem. Daniel told me that my guy who I told to cancel, who used to spray the house is gone and no longer working there. Daniel also confirmed if I canceled the quarterly pest the yearly termite bond charge would go up. I asked that he come and do the outside of the house only and cancel all appointments. I even wrote it on my check to him. I would not recommend using this company unless you are fully aware of the problems. ,

We pay $70 for one house and $80 for another house. They charge us separately, because we can't do it the same month, so they do one in one month and then the other one the next month, but its every 90 days. We had an issue with the ants, we called them and they came right out and took care of it. We have had no problem since we have used them; it controls everything and it's been great. I think their price is pretty good for every 90 days. I do not know, maybe new customers might be more. We have been customers of theirs for 9 years now, maybe we came in at a different rate, but they have only raised us once. So I think it is a good price. They will be calling pretty soon to do this house next month.
