Low Country Landscaping and Contracting

This is the second time I’m writing a review for Hunter Sheldon from Lowcountry Landscaping and Contracting, and honestly, he deserves way more than just two. He just finished putting in the last part of my backyard fence. He removed the old, ugly metal one and replaced it with a beautiful new wooden fence and gate. It completely changed the look of the yard. The original plan I had for the fence ended up changing halfway through, and that was no problem for Hunter. He helped me reshape part of the backyard to match the new design, completely for free. On top of that, he even gave me a water sprinkler, also for free. Hunter always does more than what’s agreed on. He got rid of all my move-in boxes, checks in on me to make sure the yard still looks good, and even calls sometimes just to see how I’m doing or if I need anything. Next week, he’s coming back again, to help me and my roommate set up some bamboo I ordered from Amazon, just because he’s a genuinely kind person.

Hunter did great work for us, but what really impressed me was how he reacted to a miscommunication. He immediately took every step to make things right which showed integrity and commitment to his customers. 10/10 will hire a guy like that every time.

Hunter and his crew worked hard to clean jp and clear out leaves, trees and plants. They mulched flower beds and filled low areas with soil and sod. They did a great job

I can’t recommend Hunter Sheldon from Lowcountry Landscaping and Contracting enough! He just finished a project at my house on 11 Reid Street, and it turned out amazing. He took out all the old concrete and dead grass from my parking spot and replaced it with fresh sod and a clean rock walkway leading to both my door and outdoor table area. It all looks completely different (in the best way). Hunter also went above and beyond. He added more grass behind the house, helped me get rid of boxes from moving, and even removed the old fence for free. None of that was in the contract—he just did it to help. He’s probably the nicest guy I’ve ever met, and I genuinely see him more as a friend than someone I hired. He’s incredibly friendly, honest, and truly cares about doing a great job. If you need any kind of landscaping done, he’s the one to call. Fair prices, fast work, and amazing results. You won’t be disappointed at all!

This is the second project I have used Hunter and Low Country Landscaping and as expected, they killed it. Awesome job!!! The project included clearing, bringing in good topsoil, sodding, spreading straw and doing some fencing. It changed an average back yard into an enjoyable outdoor living space (1st stage included a fire pit and paver patio) for Entertainment. I love it.

Hunter and his crew do an excellent job from start to finish. Easy to communicate with and always follows through with his proposals. We’ve used him for a few projects now and look forward to more in the future!

Hunter and his team of pros did a super job converting the back yard of my SC home into an awesome area to entertain and relax. First, they magically and meticulously removed garbage, old cinder blocks and other debris. They efficiently and professionally demolished an older concrete slab and then proceeded to lay the foundation and custom pavers in a herringbone pattern. Project was topped off with a beautiful stone fire pit. I couldn't be happier I will definitely use Hunter for future projects. 5 of 5.

Repeat customer because Hunter and his team did such a great job on our first project! To no surprise, they knocked it out of the park again. Hunter is friendly, professionally, and knows his stuff. He and his teams work quickly & efficiently, and listen to what their clients are asking for. Will continue using Hunter for our projects!

Don’t let that Babyface fool you. Hunter & his team brought great ideas, know how & work ethic to the project. We had them do some grading, lay sod, fabric, weed, mulch, etc. In 2 days they transformed our backyard. Hunter collected his check already for the job, but is still going to come back to water/fertilize after the fact. That says a lot. Highly recommend.

Second time having Hunter do work on my yard and wow--another job well done! Hiring Hunter starts to feel like I'm hiring a brother. Give him a call for a quote and you'll understand what I mean! Had him install sod this go and he was out all day in the rain getting the job done. I plan on having him out again for plant installation...can't imagine going with anyone else!

I reached out to Hunter. He listened to what I was saying/ trying to do and had a better way to do it for way less than I thought. Within an hour he was there, directed the heavy equipment and 2 hours later it was done! No BS, just hard and smart work. No more DIY for me. Hunter is fast, smart and strong!

Hunter was awesome. Professional, pleasant, knowledgeable . He called right after I placed the inquiry. He came by the same day . Had my estimate . My daughter was getting married in a few days . He completed the job two days after the estimate. It was an easy process, told me everything every step of the way. I plan on hiring him for future projects .

Hunter worked on our patio install and we couldn’t be more pleased. He was incredibly communicative and his workers were efficient, with an immaculate eye for details. Our patio area looks completely rejuvenated and we cannot wait to host our friends and family on this incredibly transformed backyard. Response time for a quote on my project was very quick. He was able to fit my small project into his schedule much more quickly than I imagined possible. Hunter and his crew made sure that they cleaned up debris from the work and protected the work area during the project. Hunter was pleasant, friendly, prompt, and professional. He took great care in making sure that I was happy with the final product and I would hire him again and recommend him to others.

Low Country Landscaping did an excellent job with cleaning up our cluttered landscaping. Moving into a home with an excessive amount of overgrown plants, we didnâ t know what to expect. Hunter and his crew brought me to tears when I saw the work they did in 1 day to make our back yard beautiful. Itâ s was an overwhelming task that we desperately wanted done before our baby is born. Now I can envision our kids and dogs out back in a cozy space! He went above and beyond!

Hunter is a blessing! He completed the job thoroughly and quickly, and with exceptional care and customer service. He went above and beyond to come back and check on the new bushes and even shelter them from the cold weather. Months later, our bushes are thriving and beautiful.

I feel itâ s important to know that I was over promised and over delivered on this large project! I had death trap back yard decking overgrown that I needed dismantled cleared out ! Large job and I could not be anymore grateful! Communication was the best value for money absolutely the best! I have never been happier to write a check for the services they provided!
