Jud, the owner, is professional and always very pleasant to work with as is his entire team. We have used it many times and very pleased with his service.

These guys are fabulous. They were able to fix the mess Xfinity caused. My whole system was down and after three days of trying, Xfinity Could Not figure out why they could not restore it all remotely. The Computer Guyz came and worked with Xfinity's technicians to set it back up. Can't thank them enough. Price, which was gentle, did include new equipment. Sheila D.

It was the worst experience I have had with a vendor in a long time. Sunday morning my computer crashed. I'm an accountant so this is the worst time for this to happen, Its the height of the tax season. As a result I contact computer guyz on Monday at 10:30 am. I was told to bring my computer in, so I arrive to their office at 11:40 am. I was told it would take a couple of hours to diagnose the problem. I was contacted at 12:30 pm and was informed that the problem was a burn out power circuit, and the part would have to be ordered. I requested that the part be order over night at an addition cost of $27.00. The representative told I would be contacted the next day once my computer was fixed. Tuesday at 2.15 pm I was able to get in touch with someone at the office after numerous attempts to find out the status of my computer, The individual I spoke to was Jed who informed me that the part that was ordered was not the problem. My computer needed a new mother board, which would be over two hundred dollars. As a result asked if he would be able to transfer my programs to another computer if I buy one, He said yes, and tried to talk me into buying a computer from Compute Guyz, I informed him I was going to HH Gregg and would bring the computer right over. I arrived back at Computer Guyz at 3.30 pm Tuesday with the new computer after leaving HH Gregg. I informed them I had some important professional Accountant programs I needed transferred to the new computer. I was informed that they could handle it, they would transfer the date to my computer and I would have to reinstall the programs and move the data into the programs. I told them I didn't know how to perform that task. Jed told me all I had to do was "drag and drop", and my computer would be ready Wednesday. I was called at 11:30 am Wednesday and told my computer was ready. I arrived at Computer Guyz at 1:30, the Tech show me the icon on the desk top with the "old data" and reassured me that all I had to do was "drag and drop" to restore the data in the program. He then charged me $123.00. I went home and spend the whole night trying to transfer the data and was unsuccessful. As a result, at 8:00 am Thursday morning I contacted Computer Guyz and informed them that I could not transfer the data. I was told to bring the computer back. I got the computer back to Computer Guyz at 10:30 Thursday. Consequently, the individuals at Computer Guyz realized that you could not transfer data into professional accounting program in that manner. I had to give them all of my pass codes and data keys to access my down load files to input the data. So I paid them the initial funds for nothing and ha to paid them an additional $123.00 and did not get my computer until Friday afternoon,

I sent an e-mail via their website Tuesday evening May 28th telling them I was interested in their services. The next morning I received a callback from that e-mail. He seemed so earnest and appeared sincere about resolving my computer issues. He told me he had a technician that lived in Goose Creek and could he come to my home that evening. We agreed on a time from 5:30 until 6:00 PM. I anxiously awaited his arrival. Never came and never called to explain the "no show"..

I was not happy that he charged me over $200 when the results I sought weren't obtained. He tried recovering data from my HD but he couldn't because the damage was extensive. Instead he transfer the data I had saved in an external HD to my laptop, which I could have done myself. I paid because I recognized that he came over to my house and spent time trying to fix the problem, but looking back, I shouldn't have paid the full invoice. He also recommended a new desktop for $900, which I'm glad I didn't purchase. All I had to do was replace the HD, re-install Vista and upgrade to 8 , which costed me $105 in all, and my PC is working. He is professional, knowledgeable, and I know he did all he could, but I like paying for the results, not for the time spent; therefore my ratings.

I emailed for information because it was before business hours. I received a phone call promptly that morning. The gentleman was enthusiastic, professional and pleasant to work with. The techs will come to your home or you can drop off your computer at their shop. The shop was near my home so I dropped it off. (They are located in Mt Pleasant off Hwy 41 near 17) They diagnosed the problem and called me with my options the next day. I was very pleased with their mannerism, their professionalism, and their willingness to work with my schedule. I did not get estimates from anyone else so I cannot say if the price was competitive. I only know that when I have an issue with my computer, I want a professional doing the work. I was satisfied with the price I paid for the work performed. This isn't Staples or Office Depot. These guys have skin in the game and need to do the job right. I would use them again and I would recommend them to others.

I called for an appointment on Thursday and the technician scheduled the appointment for Friday. He was professional and got right to work on the computer. He explained what needed to be done to resolve the problems I was having and explained what he was doing and why as he worked. I learned a lot from him, as he was able to explain things in a way that I could understand and I really appreciated that.

NO complaints. They took about two hours to install my new computer, transfer files and install new programs.

It was a great experience overall which is extraordinary when you are dealing with the complexities of technology. He simplified everything for me. Top of the line service!

Computer got a virus that made it appear that I had lost all my emails, pictures and spreadsheets. I called Computer Guyz based on the positive reviews on Angies List. Jud arrived within a few hours of my phone call. He removed the virus and restored all my files within an hour. Very pleased!

The overall expericence could not have been better.

I called to schedule an appointment, he was there within an hour, whipped everything into shape while answering my questions at the same time. I wanted to have an idea of how to do it in the future and he talked to me like a human being, NOT a techie-robot....which I really appreciated. They break the mold of the nerdy, anti-social tech guys. He documented everything, saved it on my laptop and made me a happy camper once again. I would never call anyone else to come into my house or business. They are AWESOME in every way. The price was pretty cheap in my eyes for all that he did. I thought it would have been way more expensive.

Jeb did not waste any time and worked on all five at the same time. He cleaned and performed maintenance on the computers. The price was very reasonable.

It took 2 hours. I think it could have only taken one, but he talked and did other stuff. It was overpriced but they charged by the job, and not by the hour. He was knowledgeable, but it cost too much.

First off.....I know NOTHING about computers. The technician came to my house at my convenience, resolved my issues quickly and was such a pleasure to work with. He didn't try to talk over my head with techie talk and in plain terms explained the causes of my issues and how he was going to solve them....and the time frame it would take.I appreciated his professionalism, customer service and ability to exceed my expectations. I have referred him to 3 other people in my neighborhood and he PAID ME for the referrals!!!!! He was WELL WORTH the cost and more. I would NEVER call anyone else. I've had a question here and there since he worked on my computer on non-related issues and he quickly answered my questions in seconds. He amazed me with his knowledge and I would definitely recommend The Computer Guyz. Oh yeah....they donate 1% of all the money they make to help with breast cancer awareness. Most companies are all about making the money and running....NOT these "Guyz"!!!!!
