Description of Work: I recently used Sure Load Moving for my own personal move. This time they moved my daughter to Orangeburg to start her new job! I had requested David who was my prior crew lead, but was told he was out-of-town on a larger move. Chris arrived first thing Friday morning with his helper Calvin. The two of them went right to work, walking up two flights of stairs and getting everything in the truck in a very efficient manner. Chris was even quick to point out the patio furniture that we almost left on the back porch and made sure to get it all loaded in the truck. They followed us to Orangeburg and even called when they had to stop at a weigh station and fell behind. When Chris arrived at my daughters new apartment, they went to work getting everything set up quickly and at the same time carrying boxes and good conversation. Two times, no issues, Sure Load Moving is a great choice.

Description of Work: Called them, spoke with a guy named Mike, he took all my information on the phone. Mike said he could give me an estimate based on the info and number of rooms in the house to move me. Mike took my email address and said he would be in touch with me by the end of the day. He never called or emailed. Called Mike three days later, he said he had been too busy to email me. I asked to speak with another rep and he put someone else on the line and he took all the info again and said this should not have happened, he would be call by the end of the day. Never heard from him again. Also, if you go on angies list and click on their website, a site comes up that says this company will PAY YOU $10.00 to give them a good review and asks for your address to send a check. Angies List please check this out, is this ethical?

They did the inspection and immediately were grabbing boxes to bring to the truck. I was very shocked at how quickly and efficiently they performed their service.

 + -1 moreFrom the first phone call, the experience was professional and courteous. Sure Load able to accommodate are initial move date which was fairly short notice. Then, the day before the move, I had a change in plan in getting moved in at our destination. Again, Sure Load was responsive and professional in postponing our move date by 2 days. On moving day, the truck was late due to heavy traffic but we received a phone call from the driver that they were in route and the approximate time of arrival. The movers (team of 2) were, quick, efficient, friendly, and very careful in protecting the furniture and carefully handling it as it was moved. At the destination, they were just as quick, efficient and careful. I've had several local moves over the years. Sure Load is the best by far.
Description of Work: Sure Load was hired to move the contents of my 3 bedroom house to an apartment and storage space.

We scheduled our local move from Bluffton, SC to Charleston, SC, and we had a delay in Bluffton and had to call and reschedule our move with Sure Load to the next day.  + -1 moreThe team arrived on time in a truck that was clean, and during both loading and unloading the team handled all the boxes and items with care. Nothing was damaged. The Sure Load quote included two hours for each -- loading and unloading; but, the team worked steadily and completed each in less than an hour and a half. The workers offered to set up the beds and place furniture wherever needed; however, we want to paint so we were content to store over half the items in the garage. We would use them again, and recommend them to others who need furniture moved.
Description of Work: I needed household furniture moved from a storage unit an hour away to Charleston SC. Sure Load responded to my e-mail promptly with an estimate, and asked me to call with a date. I called, ready to move in two days -- Sat or Mon, which Sure Load did not have available, but the owner suggested Sunday which was actually the best date for us.

 + -1 moreI scheduled my move at 8:00 am. I was moving from a 3 bedroom apartment to a 1 bedroom apartment so I had a lot of furniture and boxes. I booked a 16' box truck with two guys to load and unload and was told it would take 3 1/2 hours. These guys showed up at 7:50am with not two but three guys (no extra charge) and they had me completely moved into the new apartment in 1 1/2 hours and that's with staging and they even took the time wrap all of my furniture. They also unhooked and setup my washer and dryer at the new apartment. With the package I ordered...it would have cost me $305 ($80/hour plus $25 travel charge). I ended up paying $175 and wouldn't have even paid that much if there wasn't a two hour minimum on all jobs. Great company and I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Randy and Jackie showed up ready to work. In fact they were about 10 minutes early. Very professional and really nice guys. They came to work, and they did! No lollygagging, no breaks. They verified what we wanted moved and treated everything with great care. They did not mark up our walls at either the old house or new. Some really large and heavy furniture had to go up stairs with a turn and they never touched a wall! We were very impressed with these guys. Would recommend them to anyone and will use again if need be.

Description of Work: I am so busy I can not remember just what the date was...Spring. Again, I am not certain of the exact price...but my gestimate was $80 per hour. The men were personable, hard working, careful with my possessions and did whatever I asked of them...everything was neat and tidy...not one breakage...and I paid them to the penny of the given estimate and it was to the minute of expected service. I certainly will call upon them again when I need movers! Please note the date and total may not be correct...but it is close.
