Description of Work: Reconfigured kitchen sink connection that had been improperly installed during a previous remodel. Food from the garbage disposer backed up in the line and caused the connection to burst. Servant plumbing removed the old connection and ran new pipe. This involved going into the pipes behind the sink and dishwasher.

Description of Work: I missunderstood the offer. I thought I was buying LABOR for three hoursd. I had the sinks, they had the hoses/pipes so I would pay for anything else in supplies over that 3 hours. That was not the case. They just took off the offer money like a down payment, so all I did was PRE-PAY the service. The quality of the job was excellant, the service man was efficient, clean, and professional. He worked about 3 hours, so I thought it would cost me the price of the hoses/clamps, etc -- NOPE. They DID inform me of this before they did any work and I decided to go with it as I needed it done and had scheduled around it. BUT I blame Angie's list for not making these deals really any deal. So, I paid $200.oo for $300.oo off the job...I would have preferred a coupon/ money-off deal to let me know what was what. This is NOT the first time it has happened, so I guess I'd rather be off Angie's DEAL list, as they really aren't THAT great deals. BUT the SERVICE was spectacular and I WILL use them again and recommend them to all.

Plumb Pro, one of our competitors who is highly ranked and only been on the list for a year or so (we have been on the list for eight years) offers discounts to customers for leaving a review... I refuse to offer such a thing to our customers. I feel that if we did an excellent job they will write about it. And if they don't, that is OK too. But I will not bride my customers into leaving us positive reviews. I feel that is unethical even though it is becoming more and more of a common practice, so that companies can generate more reviews faster and higher grade reviews, then they should be normally getting. To offer a customer a discount on the next job in exchange for leaving a positive review, in my opinion, generates more positive reviews than customers may have normally left, in order to secure that discount. That company may get 100 more reviews a year than us, but I can sleep at night knowing my reviews were genuine :)

I often tell customers, we are not always the cheapest plumbing company in town, but we do strive to be the best of the best, not only in skill and knowledge over our field, but also in customer service. I know one can't get straight A's on every single rating, still it disturbs me to see a subpar rating, especially on price, because we ALWAYS quote a price before we do the work. Still it happens from time to time. I will give this customer a call to make sure they're 100% satisfied.
