Ready Set Movers LLC

We were in a rental house waiting for the renovations to be finished on our house. Unfortunately we had to move from the rental house to a short term apartment rental because the renovations on our house were not finished. We needed most of our possessions moved into a storage unit and the remainder to the rental apartment. We booked Ready Set Movers based on Angie's List. They had no problem moving to two locations in one day. Our movers were Ryan, Allen and Clai. They were wonderful. They were on time, professional and hard working...not to mention strong. They took great care of my antiques. We had run out of time before the move day, so they finished wrapping up furniture and items so they would not be damaged. Unfortunately we have to move again in a couple of months when the renovations on our house are completed. They only thing that makes the thought of having to move again in a few months a little better is knowing that we can call Ready Set Movers again to help us. Thanks guys for all your help.

My husband and I are extremely pleased with the services we received from Ready Set Movers, LLC. Caleb promptly responded to my quote request and came out to our condo to give us a quote. On the day of the move Allen, Clai, and Ryan showed up on time they were very professional and friendly. We had our kitchen packed up by Ready Set Movers, who wrapped each individual item to ensure no breakage. They loaded up the truck and then took a quick lunch and delivered our items to our new home. They were very good about communicating to us and making sure they were placing the items where they needed to go. After they unloaded, they went to our storage unit and quickly collected the items them and delivered them to our home. All said and done, we will definitely use Ready Set Movers again. This was the first time we have used a moving services and very happy we found this company. They exceeded our expectations and we are very happy with the service.

This is th second time I have used Ready Set Movers and they did another great job. Service was excellent, friendly and highly professional. I have moved many times, both local and long distance and these guys are the best moving company I have ever experienced. Unlike many moving companies they use employees and not just day labor people. They all care about doing a good job and taking care of my belongings.

The moves went excellently. Calab and his guys were prompt in estimating the move. They arrived on time and packed everything with care (I had a lot of breakable trinkets). They showed courtesy and professionalism and didn?t waver from the quotes. With all the moves to and from storage and from South Carolina to Maryland, nothing was scratched or broken!! They didn?t complain about moving things up and down 3 levels (in both locations!). Only one small scratch on wall (due to very difficult stairway in new home). Overall I was extremely happy! They did a great job!!

Awesome! Caleb was very professional and a pleasure to work with. The moving crew was even better. We have moved many times across towns, across country and overseas, this is the first time that we have not sustained damage...not even the smallest scratch...to our belongings or property. When the crew was caught in traffic, we received a call letting us know they'd be a few minutes late. When they arrived, they were very friendly, professional and efficient. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to others.

We selected Ready Set Movers based solely on their reviews from Angies List and were not disappointed! Caleb provided boxes and supplies at a reasonable price and delivered them in advance of the move for us to pack our personal items. The moving team showed up on schedule and ready for work. We have moved several times in the past, some local and some long distance, and without question this was our best experience. The cost was reasonable (very close to the estimate) and the crew was the most professional we have used! They took great care with our belongings and made sure we were satisfied at every step in the process. I have no reservation in recommending the firm and will definitely use them for our next move. I am an interior designer who uses moving companies all the time. I am probably the pickiest person you know when it comes to the selection of a company as I have seen and lived horror stories of things getting damaged, lost etc. When I talked to the owner, he was so professional and when he came to the house to do a walk through, he asked lots of questions which he relayed to his guys when they came to move. Every piece of furniture was wrapped up before they even moved it. That came as a surprise because most moving companies just move the furniture and hope for the best! Not these guys! They took the time to wrap up every piece so it didn't get damaged on the move. They were right on time as well. Throughout the entire process they were just an email or phone call away and showed up at 9am on the dot! I will certainly recommend this company to my clients and use them again for installations and personal jobs. They made our move as enjoyable as possible!

SPECTACULAR!!! MAGNIFICENT!!! A SPLENDID JOB!!! THERE IS SIMPLY NO POSSIBLE WAY THIS EXPERIENCE COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER!!!! A shining star of exception amongst businesses that no longer care. This is a TOUGH industry. They are required by LAW to charge an hourly rate, they CANNOT flat rate. So the estimate they give you, is one based upon a "best guess" as to how many hours it will take. As you can imagine, that's tricky business at best. You don't want to over estimate the hours involved, to cover your back in case it takes longer, as the estimate would be higher than it may turn out to be, thus losing a possible sale. On the other hand, you can't estimate too low, as if it takes longer, then the customer starts SCREAMING at you about how you said it was going to be this much and blah, blah, blah. It's must be a really rough endeavor trying to quote how many hours it will take because customers are well, finicky sometimes. He may say this job will take 15 hours. Then you have someone who wants to put the dresser here....then there.....then no, wait, how about over here, as if these guys were interior decorators and not a moving company!!! Or someone who wants to micro manage the whole job as they are packing, slowing them down to a turtles pace, then COMPLAINING it was more expensive than originally quoted. How unfair is that? Be it as it may, Caleb came out, gave me his "estimate" of how many hours it would take. He showed up at the appointed time. His guys showed up at the appointed time for both the packing and move day. All 3 times they showed up SPOT ON TIME. What REALLY impressed me was this. These guys WORKED. I mean no down time. They hustled every step of the way. No dragging feet. No long breaks. They BUSTED their butts trying to come in at the hours he quoted. In other words, they CARED, they genuinelly CARED. When it was all done, they were 3 to 4 hours FASTER than they quoted, hence, my bill was CHEAPER. How is that for true customer service? They COULD have seen they were getting it done faster and slowed down.....way down to make the money. NOPE. They busted their behinds even knowing they were going to LOSE money. That, ladies and gentleman, is what defines a top notch, 100% professional mover from a scammer, con artist mover who's looking to milk you out of your money!! You do not use these guys you would be stupid. Sorry to say, but you would be. I don't know how your move is going to work out. If it's going to be MORE than he quoted, on the money, or less. But THIS I can PROMISE you. Whatever is comes out to be, these guys didn't do anything wrong, as they will work hard for your hard earned money I promise you. And however long it takes them, it takes them and over or under your estimate, just feel secure that they worked as FAST as they could!!!

I sent Ready Set Movers (RSM) an e-mail after looking at the reviews on Angie's List. Hands down, RSM had the highest frequency of reviews and they were all rated top-notch. I now understand why. Three young men showed up (on time) to conduct my move. All three were extremely professional and courteous! I don't have a lot of furniture but what I have I value. I took out insurance ($5,000 worth) just to be on the safe side. I really didn't need it. All three of the movers handled my belongs as if the items were their own. The three worked together like clockwork. They disassembled the bed and dressers and reassembled everything at the destination. Fragile and delicate items were wrapped in pads for protection and great care was given going in and out of doors and tight passageways. I lived in a 4th floor apartment and fortunately my building has an elevator. It was the hottest, muggiest day of the year and these guys went about their jobs like it was nothing. Everything was placed in the proper location once at the destination. I can't express in words how well this move went! If you need a moving company, Ready Set Movers should get your first look!

Ryan and the crew were fantastic! We have used many of the larger moving companies and found Ready, Set, Movers to be one of the best we have ever used. I can't say enough good things about Ryan and Clay who completed all aspects of my daughter's move. She had an extraordinary amount of books and did not do a lot of pre-packing organization. Not one thing was broken or lost. Because of location, they were only allowed to unload during a specific small window of time. This was accomplished despite a freight elevator that functioned poorly.

The entire process from receiving the initial quote through unloading at our new home went perfectly. Caleb was very professional to work with. His quote was very reasonable for an interstate move like ours. Load up and drop off was very smooth. Caleb and his team meticulously packed the truck to ensure minimal box shifting during transit. He was very communicative about the entire process and worked with us even when we weren't sure where we were moving. I cannot say enough good things about Ready Set Movers and would highly recommend then.

Caleb and his crew were fantastic. They were friendly, on-time, and fast. Prior to the move Caleb did an in-home inspection of my home, provided me with an estimate and answered any and all questions. He responded very quickly to all my emails. The crew showed up on time on moving day. They were all very nice and made me feel very comfortable with letting them handle my move. They were fast in-and out in about 2 hours. Delivery day was set for Tuesday and on Monday night, Ryan called letting me know that they were staying only 15 miles away and asked if it was alright to deliver by 9:00 the next morning. On the morning of the delivery, when they ran into traffic, Ryan let me know where they were and when they would be there only about 10 minutes later than he was hoping for.. No issues and not his fault...but just keeping me informed was all I needed. Upon arriving they quickly offloaded the truck. They placed everything where I asked, put things back together and were done by noon!! Everything was here, nothing was broken and it was a very smooth move. They were promptly, professional and careful. Had a problem with a chair working after the move and the owner came back that afternoon to fix it. They did an excellent job and we're reasonably priced. Would definitely use them again!

The two movers were the best we had ever worked with and we have moved at least 15 times in the past. Allen and Ryan were quite energetic and professional and moved numerous items with speed and professional care. We would certainly recommend this company and these individuals to anyone making a move. We would certainly use their services again without hesitation and without contacting any other moving company. This company and these individuals have our highest rating and regard.

We packed and moved all of our small stuff. Only complaint was I never got a call back from a few very minorrubs where finish was rubbed of three pieces of wood furniture. Easily fixed,, but would like them to call me.

They were VERY careful with my goods and I am very pleased with their work... will hire them in the future and have already recommended them to a friend.

Caleb and crew were great and the move went smoothly despite having to schedule around ever- changing real estate closing times. The whole team was prompt, professional, respectful of our property and consistently cheerful despite the very arduous work of lifting and moving several pieces of heavy furniture and appliances up and down flights of stairs. We had a very good experience with this move. Caleb was pleasant, responsive and prompt and everyone who worked with him was great as well. He helped us move our stuff from a storage facility to our new house on one day and on another day he helped us move the stuff from our rental house to our new house. Caleb responded to my initial call quickly. He came out and reviewed what we needed done and provided a quote within 24 hours. His estimate was accurate and very competitive compared to other movers. He showed up for the actual moves when he said he would and his entire team was very efficient and hard working. It was a pleasure working with them. I would highly recommend Caleb and his team to anyone.

It was easy to get up an appointment with Caleb to have him give us an estimate for our move. He arrived promptly, reviewed our situation, and gave us an estimate that was priced in line with the other movers we contacted. He was very nice, we actually went to the same college so it was like "old home week". He didn't really "sell" his company, but he willingly answered questions about his business. We chose another mover that our Realtor recommended, but that's not a knock on Caleb or his company.
