J Stephens did excellent work at a reasonable price.

After 5 days of no hot water and multiple neighbors trying to troubleshoot my hot water heater issues, I called several local plumbing companies and am thankful I went with J. Stephens. The owner, Jay, spent 30 minutes on the phone with me, a recently divorced Mom who knew nothing about hot water heaters, explaining in detail the potential issues I was facing and even made suggestions on how my lucky neighbors and I might continue to try and repair on our own! After no such luck, and realizing it was time for a new one, I called Jay back and he spent more time on the phone reviewing tankless vs traditional water heaters. Jay had his two technicians, James and Jay at my house the same day and a tankless water heater installed at a fair price. James and Jay were extremely professional, courteous, and kind. They cleaned up, swept my garage, took care of a clogged bathroom sink, answered all of my annoying questions with patience and offered to come back to adjust the temperature setting if necessary. They were at my house until well past 7 pm and were hurrying to get to two more jobs that evening. That type of hustle is impressive. Additionally, I learned from James that one of the owners is a female and an Air Force Veteran which I love! I am thrilled with my entire experience, from the customer service to the price. J. Stephens has created a raving fan out of me and my new neighbors! 10/10

This company is awesome! I called and got a same day appointment. In fact, Axel and James showed up about an hour after I called. They were courteous, professional and efficient. They fixed the toilet in no time, explained what they did and left the space perfectly clean. I would definitely call them again.

I called for one leaky toilet...and hey, while you’re here, will you check all of them? They are all a little shaky. Turned out, my pipes were old and done improperly. Drains were running uphill that should go down (so that’s why it takes so long for the sink to clear!) Toilets were cracked, water heater was old...bandaid everything for x amount or double it for a 10 year warranty. I chose the warranty. 2 days later, my house is functioning well with a new water heater and all new pipes, thank you to Ryan, Axle and James who literally RAN from place to place to get my house up and running before the weekend. I am so very satisfied and totally impressed with the work, skill, and with the quick pace these guys performed this large task.

This is the type of company I really enjoy doing business with. I called late afternoon when our water heater failed. It was old and clearly needed replacing. They were at my door within 10 minutes of my call!! Granted, they had a crew nearby finishing up another job. Even more impressive, they fully installed a new heater with a hot water recirculator before dinner the same day! When I had a stupid question, they offered to come back - the same night. When I had another question, they responded after hours and offered to come back again during the weekend, no additional charge. Thankfully I figured out my stupidity so the service call was unnecessary. Honestly, this is the type of business I love working with, and I’m almost hesitant to give such a positive review because I like keeping these great companies to myself, but they were so awesome I’m willing to share. I just hope they keep treating me with the same level of urgency when I call. I’m sure they will for you!

Great work!! James was dedicated, hard working and persevered to complete a replacement and repair of some very old and challenging faucets. I would definitely recommend James for your plumbing repairs!

Removal and installation of new dishwasher went well. Although I think the cost was on the high side, it was balanced by a very quick response. The duo who did the installation were very professional.

Excellent. J initially did just minor toilet rebuilds. Excellent job, very friendly and on time. Next day I had an emergency - no water in kitchen and burst pipe behind wall - late afternoon with Thanksgiving coming. J adjusted schedule to make it happen, working late with no extra charge. I will definitely use them any time I need plumbing services of any kind and highly recommend.,
