clock repair
 + -1 moreJewelry store going out of business. Wish I had been told this when I called them just 24 hours earlier.
Description of Work: OUT OF BUSINESS. I called the store the day before I took my clock in for repair. When I got there I was told not to leave the clock since they were going out of business. Liquidation signs on the Windows. I was given the clock repairman's contact info and called him. He had no idea that the store was permanently closing.

 + -1 moreI have a battery-operated wall clock that needed a repair. The clock hands were very loose; hence, the clock did not keep time. I searched throughout the Charleston area and found most listings were for grandfather/antique clock repairs. I finally located a jewelry store listing on the web that indicated theyrepaired clocks and watches. I contacted Harrison Newsome Jewelers in Mt. Pleasant and was told they have a clock repair person, Gary Gesel. I dropped the clock off at the store; I called back a week later (they were a bit delayed in letting me know the repair was complete); repair was done at a good price; and, so far, so good.
