Gay and I have worked together on real estate transactions in the past. She handled the real estate part and I handled the financing. Gay was always knowledgeable, friendly, professional and super to work with. In our business, if the Realtor is not on top of things, the result can be a complete mess. I have complete confidence in Gay and I know she will always do what's best for her clients. It also helps when the Realtor has a positive outlook and a good disposition, and Gay certainly matches that description. I have always found Gay to be top notch in every aspect of the transaction!

I had the pleasure of working with Gay Slough and found her to be very professional. I am looking to move homes and was not sure of the value of my home. When meeting Mrs. Slough, she was very personable and showed up on time. She gave me very good advice for my home and made some suggestions as to how I could add value by making minor cosmetic changes. I have since made some of these changes. What impressed me most about this experience was that she suggested I should wait a while before putting my house on the market as she saw the market conditions improving. Her prediction was accurate and I immediately trusted her as she was looking out for my best interests. I have not felt any pressure and would not hesitate to refer Mrs. Slough to anyone.

Gay was always available to answer questions and she was exceptionally knowledgeable of the different areas. She was also receptive to the assistance we provided as we did quite a bit of work researching areas and homes in our desired areas. Yet, she willingly provided her own advice which augmented the information we had previously obtained quite well. Her personality and professionalism are top notch and she was right with us from day one through the closing - with a few calls to check in here and there after closing. Lastly, when we needed some last minute assistance finding a contractor she provided an exceptional reference, in addition to other references for local service providers such as doctors, dentists and pest companies (a must in the south). You won't find a better realtor in Charleston!

She gave us insufficient details when going under contract and caused a lot of issues that could have been easily avoided had she done her job.

After helping me sell my home in Mount Pleasant in April, 2012, Dede worked tirelessly to help me find a new home. I looked at several homes online and in person with Dede's help, and I finally found the home I loved with Dede's help. I closed on my new home in Tanner Plantation in June 2012. She referred to the Carolina Mortgage consultant who was immensely helpful and helped me get a great mortgage rate. Dede continues to keep me informed of other homes that sell in my neighborhood so I am aware of the market status. I would not use another real estate agent and I highly recommend the Dede-Beve team at Carolina One if you want results.

He works hard, is very efficient, has amazing energy, a great personality, and he knows his business. I wouldn't think of working with anyone else to buy or sell a home in the Charleston SC area.
