East Cooper Termite & Pest Solutions

My elderly mother used them for a long time without any problems until recently. They were an older couple and no one lived upstairs until my father (her husband) passed away and my family moved in upstairs. First off, my mom and I always felt uncomfortable with Chris in the house. He did not know anyone was living upstairs and when I called Chris to ask if they sprayed upstairs he said yes mam in all the bathrooms and bedrooms. Yet, several people were upstairs in their rooms and no one ever went up to spray. Complete lie. So for all those years before when no one was up there that they had been paying for upstairs it was probably never done. Also I told them they needed to make an appointment before they come now and they don't. Now today the doorbell rang I went to get dressed and was on the phone with my AT&T guy who was working outside and we both saw him immediately get back in his car but left a note saying he completed exterior pest service and swept down all reachable spider webs and/ or wasps nests. Signed Dan. Another complete lie. Both of these guys lie about the services they "complete" and charge you when they have done absolutely nothing! It's disgusting and they are probably doing this to several other people as well. When I called to cancel my service Chris called me a liar and said he feels "sorry for mother and my deceased father for having a daughter like me". Called me a bad person and so much more. When I caught them in a lie Chris got that nasty and into my personal business like me losing my father!!! Unbelievable. This is the owner of the business and how he speaks to a long time customer. After that phone call I'm a little afraid of what might happen with him knowing where we live but I wanted to write this to let other people know what kind of business and people are running this business and who you are letting into your home to maybe save someone else from this. I suggest you choose a different trustworthy company for your home!

Excellent! Chris came and inspected the house the same day I called him. He and his technician returned a few days later to install new barrier wire and set traps. His tech returned a few days late to inspect the traps. He mad an appointment for a second check next week. It was a very good experience overall. I would highly recommend them.

They came out quickly and quoted a price. Showed up when they said they would. Project took less than a day. I am very satisfied with the work. I would recommend to anyone looking for termite service.

Chris Barbarosa is the kindest. He was recommended by others. Everybody that works for him are wonderful. I don't see any bugs now! They do a superb job!

The crew were efficient and professional. Vince came out today to perform the first annual inspection. He called me to give me a complete report. The only problem he noted is that the critter exclusion screening installed by another company needs some minor repair. Vince did some of the repairs while he was under the house and offered to complete the repairs for free if the company that installed the screening does not respond adequately. That is excellent customer service and I appreciate it.

East Cooper Pest is awesome! I called Chris about a rodent problem I was having. He came out the very same day and checked my entire basement looking for openings. He was very thorough and very straight forward with answers to my questions. He found the one major area (and evidence of point of entry) that had not been sealed and sealed it and other small openings on the spot! He went above and beyond what I was expecting. Thank you Chris!!!

Spent a year trying to rid the house of three different kinds of "water bugs" using a national pest control service with poor resuts. Chris was referred to me buy a friend and since the day he first visited my home I've had zero issues. Literally maybe three bugs in the last year where before I was seeing sometimes three bugs a DAY. Called him in a panic this morning thinking I might have termites and he was at my door within a half hour. No termites, whew. I appreciate the responsiveness, concern, and great service.

Chris is very responsive if there is ever a need, and usually there is not a need because they do such a good job. I can't recommend him highly enough.

After Chris came to the house to spray, I couldn't pass the opportunity to sign up for the bi-monthly pest control service. He not only worked with my schedule to complete the initial service, but he also answered my questions and helped me understand what I need to do with pest and termites in the future. I wanted to establish a relationship with a local company that has been in the area for years and ECT&PS is knowledgeable, has the client's best interest AND viola - no more cockroaches!

These guys seemed awesome for the quarterly pest control service we signed up for recently. Very pleasant and professional, but when we called them seeking assistance with a rodent problem they did next to nothing and basically said there was nothing they could do (aside from setting some basic traps on the floor (mind you, they are clearly already in the garage ceiling). (Note: they did not charge us for the special visit either, which is a good thing.) We could not believe a pest control company gave us that answer when it was obvious where the problem was. Because they refused to solve the problem for us, we experienced more rodent damage, costing even more money in plumbing repairs after their visit. It's no fun giving a company such a low score, and I would have given them an "A" prior to this incident, to be fair, but when we really needed their help they let us down big time. I feel compelled to let others know, because this has been a very costly lesson for us. When I let them know we were canceling their regular service because of the aforementioned incident, they did offer to stop by again to resolve the issue, but at that point our trust had already been broken and we needed to move onto to another company.

When all the recommended work is done I will definitely have him back to treat the house and supply me with an annual contract. With this being a foreclosure a CL-100 was not required and he did not feel I should spend the money on it since he found no evidence of termites. He has also given me the name of an awesome handyman who is gong to be doing a lot of work for me. All I can say as I am so impressed with his service, and professionalism.

Among the 3 highest rated companies that I met with for proposals and bids, Rick and his crew offered the best solution and were price competitive. I had researched a specific treatment I wanted to go with, two of the three companies offered this method. Once hired, they started immediately using the treatment plan proposed and continued to perform outstanding work with follow-ups. During the treatment, they had found evidence of rodent activity near the house and offered to seal vulnerable areas. Barriers were installed around the vents, HVAC, and other areas to prevent possible access into the crawlspace. They proved to me that they're trustworthy, easy to work with, and have a long-term customer-base focus. Ultimately, they did what they said they would do and then some. I've been extremely satisfied with their service and have no reservations about giving them the highest recommendation.

East Cooper are my go-to for all termite and pest needs. They respond immediately, are very accessible, and rid my home of pests for good. They are tops for price and performance. I wouldnt use anyone else.

I posted a negative review a few months ago for improper billing. Dice then they have apologized for the billing errors and serviced my house free of charge. Appreciate the good customer service.

I have been with this company on a annual service contract since the business started. There is no one else who compares with their cost and their professionalism in the local industry.

The service has been just fine. The owner lives in my neighborhood and he does the service. He is nice to work with.

I hired them as they sent a message letting me know service was coming up. The guy was very nice and he let me know that they had seen no problems with the home in the past. They left a note letting me know they were at my home. He is very familiar with the home and he did say he would come to my home once I am out of the hospital from a car accident to do the interior service at no additional cost. I had a great experience over the phone with the gentleman. It was a limited experience but so far it has been good. I will consider using them in the future for interior pest control when needed. He did the service quickly after I spoke with him. I found the cost to be reasonable. He spent quite a while on the phone going over the home and I thought that was very nice of him.

The service has been going well and I have used them for around two years.
