Not well!

Removing trees is an expensive project. Cox Tree Co. gave me a very fair price. On time and on task. Worked hard continuously. Moved plants, they lived! Helped me move heavy wall unit as a favor. He saw I was going to hire men to move this wall unit, before I said a word he moved it! Was just all around nice guy, Greg. Phone calls returned quickly. Honest guys. I felt his intention was to really see his crew left me absolutely satisfied.

Contacted three organizations for estimates to extensive prune two live oaks that had become very overgrown. Two of the three provided estimates which were similar. The third never did. Cox Tree was very responsive, provided a fair estimate which was reduced by $100 with an Angie's list coupon. Work was scheduled immediately and four workers showed up promptly on Jan 16 and completed the job in 2-3 hours. They checked with me repeatedly to be sure right branches were removed, etc. All cuttings were ground up and loaded into their large truck. Driveway and street was blown clean. I could not have been more pleased with the work done and will definitely want them to come back in early summer to prune my 13 Palmetto palms. There are no "don'ts" because I do not know how they could have been more responsive or more professional.

Everything was great. They arrived on time, charged a reasonable price, and did an excellent job of removing the tree without damaging the deck.

We received a call-back from the owner Billy who came out and gave us a very reasonable estimate for the work that we wished to have done. His crew showed up a few hours later to complete the job which they did expertly and expediently. They completed the job in a few hours and cleaned up the area so that it looked better than when they arrived. They even told us how to rid the trees of the vines ourselves rather than charging us to do the job! What an excellent company! We will definitely use them again. Thank you for your excellent work.

They did a good clean up after they finished and didn't damage my lawn when they doing the work. They are reasonable priced, and they are careful when they take the tree down. I will continue using them in the future.

They are very good and they do a good job. The only problem that I had with them was that I had to keep after them to get them to come out to do the work. But once they get there, they do a good job.

I thought that they were excellent. Mr. Ryan Berens was the owner of the company. They were prompt and they cleaned up after themselves. There was no debris left in my yard when they completed the job. I had done some price comparisons with the other companies by taking estimates and I thought that their price was very fair although I don't remember the exact price. I have already recommended them to several of my friends and I would continue to recommend them. The crew was very polite and neat. They were well dressed and very professional. I have nothing to compare their work to. I had no problems and I was very pleased with them. I keep their card in my folder as I will definitely use them again in the future.

The work was good. The guys got up, did the work and ground everything up. They were $1200 cheaper than the closest tree service. I am a contractor and have used other tree services too, and they weren?t even close to Cox Tree Service. I have started using them on a regular basis including for myself just because they do such a good job. The owner is a down-to-earth guy and is very honest. We are both involved in a lot of community work but in different aspects, and sometimes, we tend to interface with each other on things that come together. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future.

Making initial contact with this company is difficult. I have never directly spoken with anyone when I call the office phone, instead I always get the answering machine. I had to keep calling at least three times on both occasions before someone would call me back. When the workmen finally arrived, they were quick and efficient and cleaned up the property nicely. In terms of price, their quotes seem a bit arbitrary. Another interesting thing that happened after the last job is that someone from the company showed up at my house (2 days after we received a bill for the work), asking for the check. As my payment was not late in the least, I thought this was extremely unprofessional.
