Description of Work: Hired to remove a very large pine tree and trim 2 oak trees. Very professional group. They knew exactly what they were doing.

Description of Work: cut and removed two dead trees ...each about 70 ft tall

Description of Work: They removed a large black willow that had succumbed to borers and trimmed a pear tree. Cleaned up nicely and did no damage to other plants or property - also cheapest of four contacted. Only gripe was that i was told it would be two weeks and then came home that Friday and was surprised that it was done already. May be an unusual complaint but i did want to be informed ahead of time so i could be present. As a result the pear tree was trimmed shorter than we wanted.

Description of Work: Cox removed a tree for us. They came and did the estimate professionally. They came back to do the work without calling first or making an appointment. They simply showed up and started working. My husband was upset when he saw this and had to stay home to oversee them. They cut the tree and even when they were asked to be careful, the tree fell on our neighbor's driveway - it took several power washes to get the stains out. They also caused large rivets in land adjacent to our property as they drove through muddy areas quite thoughtlessly.

Description of Work: I believe they got some communication issues. I called a week ago and asked for an estimation. The lady was nice and told me somebody would contact me in a couple of days. Never heard back from them. I tied to call them again after a couple of days but nobody answered the phone. For the members who plan to use their service, be patient and be prepared to keep on calling them and good luck. I went with somebody else who was willing to give me the estimation.

Description of Work: This company sucks!! I called on 4/9/13 and spoke with a lady and told her that I was interested in getting an estimate for some tree work. She asked me if I had ever used their company before and I said no. So she said she would have to set me up as a new customer. She asked for, and I gave her all my personal information (name, address, telephone number, etc). Then she wanted me to give her a detailed description on the work I wanted done. I thought this was odd but I did explain as best I could my needs. When she was all done with this process, she said that someone would give me a call to schedule an appt. Well that was two days ago and nobody has called me yet! She didn't seem too intelligent, so I bet she didn't even relay the message to anyone. Bottom line, this company just lost a potential customer and not just one customer because I will be telling all my friends, neighbors, and co-workers what rotten treatment I got from this company. Negative advertising is much more powerful than positive advertising. So it serves this company right. I called the company in the first place because of the positive rating it had on Angie's list. So I don't know if the person I talked with on the phone is new or what, but she sure seemed stupid and lost her boss a bunch of customers! DON'T USE THIS COMPANY! ,
