Citrus Fresh Carpet Cleaning

Will was excellent. Originally I only booked for my couch and loveseat and footrest to be cleaned. It turns out that they all have slipcovers and Will and his supervisor suggested I take them to a dry cleaner rather than charge me to clean them as they felt this would be a better option. I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED TO HAVE A COMPANY REPRESENTED BY SUCH HONEST WORKERS WITH INTEGRITY! Instead, I asked them to clean my carpets upstairs ( which I was planning on doing in the future anyways) without having to reschedule. A great experience.

This is the second time I have used Citrus Fresh carpet cleaning and I am very pleased with their service and the results.

They did a good job. My daughter didn't like the Citrus scent but the work was done well.

The first attempt was unsatisfactory. The gentleman tried to use the equipment which tripped the electrical circuit. I shared my disappointment with the company and, to their credit, they immediately sent out a second crew with equipment which was on the truck.

I contacted Citrus Fresh through Angie's List for a carpet cleaning quote on a vacant 3 bedroom rental property. I also asked why I should choose their company over the competition which offered an Angie's List deal for $69. I received a quote for $150 with the explanation that a professional company comes with a cost. I decided to schedule Citrus Fresh despite their higher price. Even though the carpet was only 4 years old I felt it was considerably dirty due to the previous tenant and I was willing to pay extra for professional results. In addition Citrus Fresh was highly rated on Angie's List. The technician arrived on time and was neat and polite. He gave me some literature and explained the "citrus fresh" process. I showed him the bedroom which had a distinct soiled outline of where the bed was previously located. I asked if he would be able to get that area clean. His initial response was "I will try my best." I hesitated and said "well, wait a minute..." he then replied "You will be satisfied." At that point I asked him to go ahead and get started. I expressed my concern with how dirty the carpet was and he replied that it was not that bad and that he had cleaned much dirtier carpet than mine. I was convinced that I would be satisfied with the results. When the cleaning was done, I was disappointed. I pointed out the soiled outline around the bed that was still very visible. The technician called the owner and expressed my dissatisfaction. She offered to schedule her steam cleaner to come over at a cost of near $200; of course I declined. I spoke with her and explained all that had transpired. She ended up offering a reduced rate for their service which I refused since I still had to hire another carpet cleaner in order to rent the house. After the technician left I called American Carpet Cleaners and explained my situation. They offered to send someone over in 2 hours who would clean a test spot free of charge to see if I would be satisfied. They arrived on time and cleaned the house to my satisfaction for $69. I rented the house to the first people who looked at it. I do not believe the "citrus fresh" process effectively cleans the carpet. I definitely do not think it is worth anything close to the price they charge when I received superior results from the steam cleaning competition for less than half the price. I was disappointed that I was told I would be satisfied but was still charged when I was clearly not satisfied. Had it been explained to me that the carpet may not come clean, I could have made my decision accordingly. I definitely find it hard to believe their Angie's List rating. I only found one "F" rating which reflected a similar experience to mine. This may be due to the discount they offer for reviews which is in the literature they pass out. They do have a prompt, courteous technician in a nice van, but none of that really matters if the carpet doesn't come clean.

they did a fine job. our carpet is old and somewhat "cheap" so there was only so much they could do.

Rick was very professional and explained exactly what he would be doing. First he vacuumed the carpet in each room and the stairs. Then he sprayed the citrus cleaning liquid (which gave our house a very fresh smell), then he used the scrubber all over the carpet and then he vacuumed the carpet again. Took about 2 1/2 hrs. We had a window of arrival between 11:30 & 12:00 and received a call from the company stating that Rick was in traffic and would be a little late. Which was fine and I really liked that they let us know he was running late. We have had our carpet cleaned (not steam cleaning) in 2014 & 2015 by a different company and they did not compare to how Citrus did. We didn't have any stains on our carpet - just wanted a light cleaning. it turned out wonderful. Thank you Rick and thanks Citrus Fresh .

They sent a team of two to move the furniture and clean the carpet. They worked non-stop. We were very happy that the solution was green. Very professional and responsible.

As always, as I have used Citrus Fresh Carpet Cleaning before, the technician went above and beyond what is normally expected for other companies and Both my living room and dining room carpets (and BOTH are going on 8+ years) now look BRAND NEW; in addition, I am a kindergarten school teacher, and we all understand the wear and tear on classroom rugs, let alone, 2 rugs in a kindergarten classroom, but BOTH rugs now look BRAND NEW! The technicians from Citrus Fresh Carpet Cleaning always look VERY professional too. GREAT JOB!

I have had these services performed by several companies in my area in the past and never was the service as amazing as with Citrus Fresh Carpet Cleaning! From the office staff to the technician who performed the services, it was amazing! If you use anyone else for these services, you are missing out! I love this company! The customer service is impeccable and the quality of service is the best I have ever experienced. My carpets look better than they ever have! The low-moisture process is wonderful and so convenient. I highly recommend this company!

I originally wanted two chairs and a coach cleaned. They explained that the couch may not come clean or as clean as I would like it and they didn't want to charge me for services if I was not going to be satisfied with their work. I felt that they were very honest with me about the the condition of the couch and the fact that I had tried to clean it myself prior to contacting them. Therefore, I had the company clean the two over sized chairs and was very happy with the outcome. I will use them again, if needed in the future.

2 guys arrived early! One was a trainee so they were able to finish the job much more quickly. They helped me move some of the furniture out and the carpet looked great. It was dry in about 2 hours. I am very pleased with the services and professionalism of this company. The results were worth the price!

Overall experience was good. Where I've been very unhappy with other carpet cleaning services is that they quote one price over the phone and then do everything they can to aggressively sell extra services to raise the price once they're in the home. Very pleased that the price quoted by Citrus Fresh was the price I paid, with no high pressure tactics to add extras. Had what I knew would be a very difficult to remove large coffee stain on very light carpet, if even possible to remove. The original technician cleaned all the rest of the carpeting satisfactorily but couldn't do anything with the coffee stain. Rather than leave it at that, he contacted owner of company who personally came to our house to try everything he knew to try to get the stain up. While he was not successful either I definitely appreciated his determination and extra effort to try. Too few other companies take that extra step for customer satisfaction.

They took extra time to clean any spots and did a thorough job. I was very pleased with the results. The cleaning solution is not only effective but has a very pleasant yet faint odor.

The standard Citrus Fresh system as was applied to my carpets involves using a simple everyday upright vacuum cleaner to do a once over before spraying on their citrus cleaner. Then a circular floor buffing machine is used to work the cleaner into the fibers. Then they use the same ordinary upright, plug it into your wall, household dry vacuum to run over the carpet once more. What I observed was that nothing comes out of the carpet with the vacuum they used. Without the hot water and 'wet-vacuum' used by other companies, the DIRT AND GRIME IS NOT TRANSPORTED OUT OF THE CARPET. After seeing the process and after the initial buzz of the fresh citrus scent fades leaving a pungent soapy smell, I decided to hire a real steam cleaner ASAP. The next morning a professional steam cleaning company sucked out the dirt and soap residue left behind by the Citrus Fresh company. And they did it at 60% of what Citrus Fresh charged. I have photos taken during the steam cleaning showing very clearly what was left behind by Citrus Fresh. The magic behind all the 5 star reviews is the technology of the soap that separates the dirt from the fibers and hides it temporarily. Add to that the pleasant citrus fragrance and the $10 discount for reviews and I fell for it. As others have said, the staff is professional and friendly, that is until you ask for a partial refund to cover what I had to pay to have the job completed.

As it turned out, my square footage was much less than the special offer which resulted in the service individual spending far less time at my home than would otherwise have been the case-- the provider did not lower the price and did not offer a credit towards future service. The work itself was a little sloppy with the service individual getting the sealer on the tile in various places and not cleaning up after himself. He was, however, very cheerful and pleasant. After I wrote this review I received a phone call from Lindsay, the General Manager. She was very concerned about my unflattering review and was anxious to resolve any dissatisfaction I had. She successfully resolved my issues and I was very impressed with her willingness to go out of her way to insure I was a happy customer. I did give the quality of service a B rating but I understand that the individual who performed the work is no longer with the company. I would use this company again.

My only beef, and this was my fault, is that the service was not a steam clean. They don't bill themselves as a dry clean carpet service, but it appears they are. They also don't say they are a steam clean service, and I should have verified. I think they use special chemicals, and the results were not that bad. Frankly, I don't think I could have seen that much of a difference if I had gotten it steam cleaned.

When I looked at the furniture the next day in the sun light, I realized it still looked dirty. I took a damp white rag and rubbed over armrests and the rag came away dirty. Technician was nice guy, but their system of steaming with very little water, didn't work.

They did an excellent job and I was very impressed.
