Went perfectly. Very responsible and professional

Terri Dolan, who owns the company, said she could get the entire house painted in one week because she had a large crew. It ended taking 3-4 weeks because she kept pulling her workers off to do other jobs. She also knowlingly, put latex/water-based paint on top of oil-based paint already on my 25 doors. According to one of her workers, he was told to incorrectly paint the doors; not to use an oil-based primer, which is essential when putting latex on top of oil-based paint. (I did not find this out until recently.) I called Terri about 6 weeks after the job was completed and complained that the paint on the doors was not drying hard and that I could easily run my nail through it. She said there was nothing wrong with it and that I should let it cure longer. She would not come back to the house. Now the paint is peeling badly and will have to be redone properly. Estimates that I have gotten all agree that the doors have to be taken down, sanded thoroughly, primed, and then painted with 2 coats of paint. The most reasonable estimate received was $5,560.00. She was also much too expensive, but I agreed because I thought I was paying for a very quick turn-around.

It took 2 days longer than predicted, however I realized it was because they were being so incredibly meticulous. The paint job was essentially PERFECT!! I can't speak highly enough of them! Also, the owner, Terri, knows EVERYTHING about paint and painting and was readily available were there any questions. She even was able to discover where a leak in the roof was coming from when the painters discovered some mildew in the ceiling! I cannot recommend them highly enough!!

Carolina Painter, LLC responded to my Angie's list request within a day. Terri Dolan met me at the work site the following day and provided me a very reasonable estimate. Painting was scheduled and completed as contracted. Highly recommend her service for any interior painting requirements. Plan on using Carolina Painters in the future. Thanks!

Terri and her painters were INCREDIBLE. I was in a real pinch to get my room and hallway painted quickly. Terri and her crew came out the same day I called! She was very responsive to my needs over the phone, and then took just a few minutes to check with her crew to see if they could squeeze me in since my job was small. She then made a prompt call back to say they would be over within the hour. When Terri and her two painters arrived they were easy to work with, understood what I needed, and then got right to work. In about 3 hours the job was done, and I was amazed at how beautiful the room looked! The paint job is neatly and professionally done (no light spots at all since they put 2 coats on all the walls), and the baseboards look great. I have one accent wall with color, and there is no bleeding or overlap of that paint onto the lighter colored walls. The two gentlemen who painted were courteous, and they cleaned everything up before they left. In fact, I ran to the store to get more paint and when I returned, one of the workers even went out to the car to carry it in for me. I have had many experiences with service companies and Carolina Painters tops them all. I will use them again and recommend them to my friends and family!

I would give them a very high score. The experience was very good. They were professional, efficient and they were very cost competitive. They did what they said they were going to when they said they were going to do it.

Overall, the work went great. When Terry came by to do the quote, she was very detail oriented and even arrived early. She noticed things that I had not yet noticed myself. The painters began the work the next week, which fit perfectly into our time frame. The house was empty, and the carpet on the second floor was being replaced. So, there was no need for drop cloths on the second floor. The colors turned out beautiful, and all of the paint was finished before we moved in. The painters even removed all towel bars, mirrors, etc. in bathrooms before painting. Any concerns or issues that came up along the way for quickly addressed by Terry. The only complaints my husband and I have after it is all said and done are regarding some minor paint drops here and there (on kitchen cabinets and toilets that were able to be scratched off with a sponge) and white paint drops on the floor of our screened-in porch. We have yet to try to scrub the paint off of the porch floor. I would most likely use Carolina Painters again in the future, and I would definitely recommend them for any paint job. In the end, it was a good job for a good price.

Just a little confusion with contractors when they showed up to paint. This was promptly handled with no other issues noted.

Terri is fantastic and really listened to my concerns. Unfortunately, the carpenter I hired did a horrific job. Terri and crew did there best to make me happy with what they were given. The end result is a very professional paint job that I am happy with and would definitely recommend her for your painting needs.

The were absolutely phenomenal. They are professional in appearance, and demeanor. I can't say enough good things about Carolina painters. In addition to their awesome work, they were the cheapest of three quotes. I can highly recommend them, and can't wait to use them again! I have used Angie's List several times in the past, with terrific success. I am very, very pleased.

From start to completion, it was like a well-oiled machine. Quote was done on sight at my home and very professional. The painters were on time, did an excellent job and we were thrilled with their work ethics. I will definitely contact them for my next big paint job and would recommend them to everyone. Class A organization.

I needed some interior paint work done. I did not hear back from them.

The overall job turned out well. Terri was very responsive to our questions and concerns. We were pleased at how well she handled the job when we were communicating with her from Connecticut.

On the appointed day Terri and crew arrived as promised. They began work sometime around 8 AM and were comletely gone when I returned at 3 PM. House was clean with everything in it's place. The job looks fantastic. I highly recommend Carolina Painters. Wish I had talked to that friend ealier.
