Carolina Fence Company

Andrew and his team at Carolina Fence Company did a terrific job on our fence this week. I like the fact that he was willing to consider our ideas as to the design and that it was meticulously assembled and installed. Real pros who know what they are doing! We are very happy and glad to recommend this company to others.

There was no work contracted or done, they never returned my calls.

The fence is fine. An eletrical line from the garage to house was cut. The company would only take partial responsibility gir the cost of repair.

Went very well. The installers were very professional, cleaned up when they were done and ensured I was happy with the job.

It went great. started when they said it would and finished when they said including a rain delay.

Installation was done carefully and the fence is both sturdy and attractive. We are very pleased with the finished product and would recommend Carolina Fence Company for any similar needs.

We were very pleased with the professionalism of Carolina Fence Company. They worked with us to find the best solution for our needs, and gave us several options within our budget. We were extremely satisfied with their quality of work. They installed our fence about a week after the anticipated date because of several days of rain. Andrew was a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend them.

The new fence came out beautiful. They built everything on-site, even the gates. Their price was competitive and they are the only company that gave anything near a 3 year warranty on the gates. The only down side is it takes a long time to get on their schedule, but that is due to how busy they are because they do good work. If you are not in a big hurry, they are worth the wait

Install went smoothly. It was a two day process. The first day, they came and set the posts and the next the finishing crew came. Very nice crew. The wait was a bit lengthy from time I met with Andrew until the time of installation but happy with final product. I would refer then to others

Called company at least 3 times before I received a call back. Also sent message on Angie's list which got a call from Andrew and the owner. On April 30, 2016 Andrew said they were busy but would have someone come look at it in the next week or so and work with the builder next door to have it repaired and paid for. Never happened. Emailed the owner of the company on June 28, 2016 as phone calls were not being returned,(owner was promoting business on Next Door) and was told they they are too busy but "it will likely be 2-3 weeks from now. We are in our busy season with installations, so it is harder to get to repairs." Here we are on July 26 and nothing has been done, and no one has called.

When my fence was installed in 2014, Matt was terrific and very responsive. Several months ago, he helped me solve how to adjust the hinges myself. Apparently, Matt is no longer with the company. A couple of months ago, one of the self-closing hinges stopped working so I called Carolina Fence to have it repaired under warranty, which they state on their web site as being 3 years. It took a couple of calls and messages before I heard back from Andrew. He told me they would get the part and have it repaired within a couple of weeks. Two weeks went by, I left another message and Andrew called back. He acted like he had no idea what I was calling about so I reviewed the issue and was told he would be out to fix it. Still nothing. I called on July 14 and again left a message, telling Andrew if he would send me the part, I would take care of replacing it. There has been no return of my call. Really bad service and product. You are advised to avoid this company. Their warranty is worthless and I doubt they will be around much longer with this lousy response. Terrible customer service and do not honor warranty. It is worthless.

Matt was great to work with. Quality fence. I have had several compliments from neighbors.

Matt immediately returned my call after I had left a message. He came out and gave me an estimate and a time frame as to when he could put the fence up. I accepted his offer. He came when he said he would. Took the old fence down and put the new fence up in two days. Cleaned up beautifully. This was a big yard so there was a lot of fence to put up. I thought the men were very efficient, quick, hard working and polite. Thank you Carolina Fencing Company for doing such a good job!

Process went well from the quote to the final construction. They were a little bit difficult to get a hold of in the beginning, but we very responsive after our first contact. The building crew was fast and professional and the final product was excellent.

We have two Jack Russell terriers, so we had to have a fence. Matt Parker did the installation for us. He was one of the best people I've even worked with. I would recommend Carolina Fence over any other company. I have no complaints; everything went wonderfully.

Matt and crew performed superbly. The fence they installed looks great and the crews did a great job in ensuring the work ares were cleaned up upon completion. Slightly disappointed in the gate hardware, but it is definitely satisfactory.

It went very well. They removed the old fence in one day and put up the new fence the next day. The weather was not the best but they (crew of 3 or 4) worked diligently for 2 days. Everyone I encountered, especially Matt, was very responsive, courteous and professional. The removal was a little pricy. Overall I am very pleased with my new fence and believed Carolina Fence Co would respond to me if needed in the future. Would recommend to others.

Getting the estimate was easy and the representative was very professional. They were not the cheapest but I thought the professionalism gave me to a feeling of confidence compared to a lower priced competitor. The installation went smoothly and the fence looked good for about a month or two. After that the posts holding up my gates started to warp / settle and I had difficulty operating the gates. When I requested someone to come and check my gate posts I had to call multiple times as my sales representative was no longer as responsive to my messages. On multiple occasions I had to send an email directly to the company to get someone to acknowledge my concerns. Once out to my yard they informed me they would be charging me to replace the warped post, which I respectfully refused to accept. They waved the fee and replaced the warped post but the continued settling of the ground around the heavy post has made the double gate difficult to operate. After two years I am starting to question the quality of the wood as a few of the other posts have twisted and warped.

From start to finish, Carolina Fence Co. (CFC) was very professional and easy to work with. We had gotten a couple quotes from other fence companies that just didn't give us the same warm and fuzzy feeling as CFC. CFC was also competitively priced without compromising quality. They gave us three options for each of the four price categories or we could design our own. After deciding on a design, Matt came by to mark off the boundaries and even helped us with some minor design decisions such as where to put the gates. He was really helpful. Two weeks later, the fence was installed within 2 days (even though it rained both days). We requested a couple boards be replaced and we didn't get any pushback or run-around. They just said OK, mark the boards and we'll do it. What a refreshing experience not to have to hassle with a company! So many of our neighbors have told us how great the new fence looks and that they just love the design. We love it too. I'm all about getting a variety of quotes but I recommend CFC to anyone looking to get a fence.

Company was great. They dealt with my HOA for the proper permits and quickly had my fence built and finished ahead of schedule. I felt they did a fantastic job and I would use them again.

Awesome in every respect. Matt responded immediately when I called. I explained the pigs were not only digging up the yard, but under the HVAC system. Matt and I walked around the yard, which is on a pond and one side on the marsh; it was not easy to work out the details of the fence so that it would take care of the pigs but be as unobtrusive as possible and not to interfere too much with the vista of the pond and with 3 gates. He measured everything; we picked out the type of fence; he gave me a very reasonable price. Previously, went on Angie's List to get the names of contractors and reviews; Carolina Fence got the best reviews and their prices were competitive. Matt said given the pig situation he would fit the fence in so we did not have to wait the 'normal 3 weeks'. Within a week, I got a call they were ready to roll. The crew is beyond committed; it took 5 hours to put in the posts and cement--and that happened in the pouring rainstorm yesterday (the 26th of November); they came at 10 am this morning and completed everything by 2:30pm! And it is gorgeous! Two of my neighbors have already stopped by to tell me the fence looks awesome! They cleaned up everything and were on their way. Fabulous in every respect.

Very professional staff, quality product.

I had a situation where I wanted privacy fence, but had to blend into neighbor's existing living fence. They transitioned from one to the other and it looks great. I also had three gates installed. I asked for some changes to their standard install. This was done with no problem. Those that came to do the work were wonderful and Matt, the fellow who gave the estimate, were all very professional and courteous. They cleaned up well after the job and we were pleased with the final product. The only category I did not give them a perfect score was pricing. I received a quote from another Angie's list provider who gave a better price, but decided to go ahead and use Carolina Fence since that is who installed the adjoining fence and I wanted them to match. I would definitely use them again.

Way better than expected! First off we had Matt and his crew, very professioal guys, do some privacy fencing about 6 mo. ago and they were in and out andleft behind nothing shot of an awesome fencing job. When it came time to finish up our fencing plan for the yard we made sure to call Matt! Not only did we get the fence 2 weeks sooner than expected, they did it in just one day! Can't say enough good things about this company and they have very reasonable pricing.
