They did a beautiful job, the fence turned out great we’re really happy with the service and professionalism throughout the process. I would recommend AAA fence!

It is my opinion that AAA Fence Company did an inadequate job designing and erecting my fence, and despite paying over seven thousand dollars, it is leaning in places. I tried for quite a while to get someone to come out and assess it. Two men did come out, and they were clear about the issue: quite a few bucking boards needed to be screwed in instead of nailed, and a whole row of two-by-six boards were needed to brace it. They would have to dig down and reinforce the cement of some of the four-by-four posts. Overall this is really bad news. They claim that their warranty only lasts for 18 months, and it has been about two and a half years since I paid them to get the job done right. After like two weeks of the Operations Manager Alex Nolte ignoring me for the most part, I get some email communication from him. What took him so long? Finding a price for the materials. From their low-priced, hard to reach supplier? No, from Home Depot or 48 Lumber. Same price as I would pay. The labor was $1,200. Now, he told me that since they didn't do it right the first time, they would offer me this correction for just labor and materials - no profit. The labor was quoted not hourly, but $2.60 a linear foot. I asked him to translate it to an hourly rate, and then I would simply pay whatever time it took multiplied by the hourly rate. That way it would be real clear that I was not giving this company extra profit on top of the profit I already paid. He said he would not do that. I told him, well, $1,200 is 60 man hours at $20 an hour, and that seemed excessive. I mean, outrageous. He told me there was nothing more he could do. I am disappointed in the service I received from this company after they put in a fence that clearly has structural issues.

I called AAA Fence to arrange for an estimate for the installation of aluminum fencing at my home I recently purchased. They were very prompt at coming out to measure and with providing a quote to me for approximately $6700 after additions and options I requested were added. Then the three month long saga started with the idiots at my HOA to get the fence approved. Once the HOA issued a permit for me to build a fence, I contacted AAA Fence again to tell them I was ready to go and give them a deposit for the work. I was told they needed to confirm the pricign again due to the delay in starting. As an engineer, I understand the volatility of materials pricing and expected a small increase due to the price of aluminum increasing. AAA fence got back to me and politely told me that the price had increased....The revised proposal for the same fence and options was $8,700. This was a 29% increase in three months. I check our Companies estimating guide for materials increases during this time and the change was 3 - 4%. Even if this was based on the pricing AAA received from their fence vendor, it was perceived by me as a bait and switch tactic. I informed AAA fencing there was no way I was paying $2000 more over that short period of time. I have two other estimates that are higher than the original $6700 but no where near the $8700 requested from AAA. I can self install for less than $6000.

They saw what needed to be done and then gave me an estimate. They e-mailed the estimate to me and I sent the form back since it was acceptable by me. I would use their services in the future too.

I was given an estimate to install about 90 linear feet of fence. Once I hired them to install the fence, it took about 2 weeks for them to come install it. Then, when the crew showed up, they informed me that most of the fence could not be installed because of tree roots. I would have thought that the person giving the estimate would have known this. So they installed about 1/3 of what they were supposed to. Then about 10 days later I was told that they would give me an estimate for chain-link fence to complete the job (in lieu of the aluminum fencing they couldn't complete). But I'm still waiting for that price estimate, and it's been over a month since I hired them. So now I'm going to just hire someone else to finish the work.

Quality of workmanship was good. Price was good. The fence quality is a little more flimsy than what we had at our other house but very close. Different brand but we were shown what we ordered up front - not an issue. It looks good and Karen did a great job managing the install.

We needed 44 warped and/or boards from our privacy fence that were just beginning to show evidence of rotting replaced. In addition, one of our two wooden gates was getting stuck and was not opening properly so we called AAA to come to our home for a quote. Karen Harrell, their Business Manager came the next day, examined the fence and gate and said we would have a quote via email within 48 hours. The next morning there was a quote for the complete job which was acceptable to my wife and me. It being a Saturday I left her a voicemail and sent an email saying we would accept their bid. Karen called back Monday morning and explained that although they were busy they would try to fit us in that week but if not, it would be early the next week which it was. Glenn their installer and John, his helper showed up on time and completed the job in a very timely manner and cleaned up all debris leaving our yard as spotless as they found it when they came. Their price was as quoted and the workers to our shock and amazement even refused a tip. We would HIGHLY recommend AAA Fence Company of Charleston to anyone.

Fantastic! Karen came out to measure for our fence and gave us an estimate. She then came back out to show us exactly where the fence would be placed. It was constructed last week and looks great. Would recommend this company highly and would definitely use them again.
