 + -1 moreThe whole process from our first contact with Jim though the installation went extremely smooth. In comparison to other companies, we felt his product was better and his turnaround was quicker. Not only that, his price was lower than his competitors. Jim has quite a following in our neighborhood, and after dealing with him I can understand why everyone recommended him. He knows his product and is very meticulous. Also, I love the fact that his product is made in the USA.

 + 0 moreMr. Jones made an apt with me a week ago. He said that he would call me yesterday to confirm. He did not. This a.m., I texted him to confirm the apt. to which he replied "We are no longer serving your area. Check with Home Depot. Sorry." Then, I replied, "Why did you not tell me that when we made the apt?" He said, "Again, I apologize for the inconvenience." FIRST OF ALL...I LIVE IN SUMMERVILLE. WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS DOES THAT? THINK BEFORE YOU LET THIS MAN COME TO YOUR HOME. IT SEEMS THAT IF HE DECIDES NOT TO DO SOMETHING, HE JUST DOESN'T DO IT. Well, sorry Jim. You lost a good size job and you are now seen as a liar.

Description of Work: We have built/ renovated and sold many homes in the past ten years and Jones has installed wooden shutters in most of them. They increase the saleability and price of the house greatly! I am a realtor and Jones has installed shutters for me downtown in hundred year old homes and he makes the windows look completely straight! I highly highly recommend this company.

 + -1 moreWe would do business with them again. I don't have the bill with me and don't want to put an inaccurate cost of service.
Description of Work: The owner came and measured windows, was punctual, courteous, professional. Price was better than other companies we checked. He and his wife installed about 20 shutters and blinds in a little over 2 hours. Installation looks great. Shutters take about 6 weeks to arrive so they are not something he can do quickly, they are not stocked locally. Blinds can be installed in about a week. He told us these time frames before we ordered.

 + -1 moreThe project from beginning to end was terrific. Jim is a great communicator, his product (real wood shutters) is excellent, and his installation was trouble-free. We had three estimates, and Jim provided the best product for the money.

 + -1 moreProcess from measuring to installing the new shutters took about 5-6 weeks and went great. Was 2-3 weeks quicker than other local companies were stating and the price was better.
Description of Work: Jim installed plantation shutters throughout our new home and all work was done with great attention to detail. The quote came in with a shorter turn around time and less expensive than other national brand companies in the area and I would easily recommend to anyone to use if you live in the Charleston area.
