Ted Cook and his crew are a rare find these days. I highly recommend considering Ted Cook for his honesty, work ethic, and quality products and services. Mr. Cook cares about doing work right the first time while he is also willing to make it right if it is not.

They were very trustworthy, reliable and fair priced. They worked well with tenant-owner relation, with respective services and communication.

When my A/C stopped working on the Saturday afternoon of Labor Day weekend, I worried that I wouldn't be able to get anyone out to fix it until Tuesday. One of the "big guys" told me they could get me at 7 or 8pm, but they would need to charge me their "after hours rate". I called a few more places (with no answer) and then I reached Ted. He told me that he had a busy day, but he was close by and could stop by in 30 minutes. My A/C unit is old and I was pretty sure that the news would be that it had finally died and that it would need replacing. Lucky for me, it ended up just being a bad thermostat. Ted told me I could get one cheaper and install it myself to save money, but I asked if he had one he could install. He installed a new thermostat and stayed to make sure it worked. The whole thing (service call and parts) cost me less than the "big guys" were going to charge just to walk in the door 6 hours later. I will likely be proactively replacing my A/C unit in the next year and now I know who I will do it for me. I was more than pleased with the speed and quality of the service I received from Ted Cook Heating Service and I would recommend them to anyone who asks.

I called Ted this afternoon about my A/C not cooling. Given that it’s the middle of the summer and it was already late in the afternoon, he apologized and said he couldn’t make it today, but that he would squeeze me in tomorrow. I told him that I may need to try to get it done tonight. Instead of just leaving me to find someone, he suggested another reputable company that I could try. I called the other company but, like Ted, they couldn’t come out until tomorrow morning. I texted Ted and let him know that, and 30 min later, he called me to let me know he was outside my house. He said he finished up early, so he figured he’d go ahead and come by. Took a look and quickly fixed my issue. Bottom line, he referred to a competitor because he couldn’t get to me immediately, and then when they couldn’t do it, he came by after he had finished for the day.

Everything about this experience was great. Arrived on time, did a great job at a very competitive price. I could not be more pleased!!

Fantastic service! Very fast response time - left a message and Ted called me back in under 5 minutes. Technician (Greg, 30+ years of experience) came out a few hours later, diagnosed and replaced a faulty part in under 10 minutes - all at a cost under what most companies would charge for just diagnosing the problem. Very impressive!

AC stopped working on a hot summer evening. Called Ted after hours and he actually answered my call personally. I explained the problem and Ted said he would come the next day. He arrived the following morning, quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired the unit for a reasonable price. Our 30 year old Trane furnace went out over Christmas and needed replacement. Ted responded immediately and was able to schedule the install the very next day. He took the time to explain all options and also had the best pricing on quality equipment. His team was very professional and took care of our home during the install. I spoke to Ted in the late afternoon, and Greg arrived to diagnose the problem two hours later. Ted handled my call personally, and let me know when Greg would arrive. Both men were very professional, and didn't try to sell me anything. All I needed was refrigerant added, and my AC is now cool as a cucumber. :-) I have already recommended Ted Cook Heating to several coworkers and friends. Service this good is hard to find these days. I'm glad I found Ted Cook through Angie's List!

Ted was easy to work with, extremely responsive, and did not take a sales based approach to upselling me on the equipment like a few others I had quote. He was quick to correct a glitch in the scheduling of work and respectful of my time. The unit was installed quickly and professionally and is an excellent upgrade to overall efficiency.

Ted has helped me with both commercial and residential HVAC repairs. I am consistently amazed by the professionalism, helpfulness, and down to Earth helpfulness. I can not say enough about how impressed I have been with the service that I have received from Ted Cook HVAC!!!

Ted was out later that day when all others said they couldn't get to me for at least another day. Narrowed down the problem to a repair of $400. Got nice cool air quickly!

Ted Cook came out and quickly diagnosed the problem and set up the installation of our new heat pump. The installation crew were fabulous and did the job quickly

Excellent work was done and they paid attention to details. Oh, he was a lot less than a previous quote, which says a lot when you look at the excellent job done by Ted's team.

Ted came out personally, and explained the entire process with us. He gave us a quote, which was comparable to others in the area for the same work. When the day of the installation came his guys were professional, and when slight issues arose Ted did a great job of communicating with us. He gave us his opinion, but left all decisions up to us, after giving us various options. All in all it was a great experience and I would definitely work with him again in the future!

He determined that the system was producing good heat and assured the renter and me that there were no problems with the heat pump.

This is probably the only time I've ever gotten a thermostat replaced and not felt like I've gotten screwed.

Woke up on New Years Day to a very cold house. Heater would run and then turn off, run and turn off, never getting more than a couple degrees warmer in the house. I called Ted Cook and left a vm. He called back within 20 minutes and talked through the issue. He was here within a few hours and able to identify the issue, fix it and head out within 30 minutes. He is very professional and I will be calling him in the future for all my HVAC needs. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a HVAC professional.

The repairman came, said it was a simple (but not obvious) problem and he fixed it. He wouldn't take money for it even though it involved a trip. The repairman was quite knowledgeable and provided related information to avoid similar problems in the future. I am sure we will use Ted Cook when we need repairs or a new heater or air conditioner.

Ted was great! He cleaned the lines and showed us how to operate them. Great service. Would definitely use again!

Ted came out and checked out the system and said he found it to be in excellent condition with everything working properly. Being now a cool season, he was not able to checkout the air conditioning cycles of the unit, but that would normally be done in the late spring anyway. I will plan to have him back at that time to check that aspect of the unit. Ted was most professional, courteous and knowledgeable. What I liked most about him was he made suggestions on how to save money on his services. He even told me with the newness of the system and the great condition is stays in, that I might only need a once a year checkout of the unit. It's not often you encounter someone who not only doesn't try to up-sell services, but actually makes recommendations on ways to reduce his costs to you.
