Description of Work: Came to repair install a broken down heat pump in the middle of the big snow this past Feb.

Description of Work: They came out and refilled the air conditioner, but the following day it stopped cooling again, so the same guy came out (they always use the same guy so that you don't have to go through story again) and this time found the leak.....pd $115.00 for first visit and $100 for second....we called them a THIRD time because we could not see any water coming out of pipe and due to OUR old thermostat in house could not get air conditioner to come on. Owner Ted Cook came out and helped us replace the thermostat unit we had bought, went into attic to make sure everything working ok and went outside to make sure air conditioner working ok (water coming out of pipe). Did not charge anything. Would definitely use again.

Description of Work: Upstairs Trane AC unit stopped cooling and I called Ted Cook Heating Services the next morning and they had a repairman at my house that same afternoon. The repairman was extremely polite, fixed the problem quickly, and also did a courtesy check of my other AC unit. Their bill was extremely reasonable plus they gave me an Angie’s List discount. Definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future.

Description of Work: Ted had a senior technician come out for an annual tune-up of my AC unit. Unfortunately I can not remember his name but he had 25+ years experience, was very friendly and was not put-off when I asked to observe the whole process. Most importantly to me he was honest. My AC unit is the original (1998). I knew it was old but not sure if it had to be replaced tomorrow. He told me based on its conditon and annual tune-ups I could get 2-3 more years out of it. | |Normally I don't write reviews (I could spend hours writing reviews for the amount of people that ask me to) but I want everyone to know that I was very happy with Ted's senior tech and that I will use Ted for all my future tune-ups.

Description of Work: I had gotten a quote for a complete system install from another provider in the area, Ted Cook was able to beat the quote handily and offered better equipment than the other provider. The install process was exactly what Ted told me to expect and I was up and running that same day. Thanks Ted for the wonderful service.

Description of Work: Installed new heating and air conditioning units for the second floor of my home. The process involved removing and installing components in my attic. The installation was uneventful and they were extremely careful in protecting my flooring which was a concern of mine. It's only been a few weeks so I can only comment on the engagement and installation. I would recommend Ted Cook heating to others for similar projects.

Description of Work: Replaced two heat pump - gas pack combination units with new gas furnace - air conditioner systems, removed the old systems and cleaned up and replaced the old pipes between the outside and inside units. Work was performed very smoothly and completely on the original proposed schedule. Ted Cook took particular pains to educate us on the use of the new systems and successfully incorporated the new controllers into our existing home network.

Description of Work: Ted came out on a Saturday after we'd attempted to replace our thermostat and we'd shorted out the entire system. We didn't have an appointment and he showed up within an hour. He fixed what we broke and replaced our second thermostat as well. This was a huge win for us! Ted is very professional, super friendly and kind. He obviously knows what he's doing and his work is very thorough. We'll be calling him for all our HVAC needs from now on. We highly recommend him!
