These guys were the best. The painters arrived on the date and the time previously arranged ready to work and worked for approximately 4 days. They involved me in everything they did and asked questions if they were unsure of anything. They were polite, professional and did an excellent job. They replaced any light switch plates, door knobs, etc. they took off to painted the area, vacuumed and swept up after themselves and THEY EVEN WASHED THE WINDOWS while they had the mullions out of the windows. Now that is what an excellent, professional painter does and I would highly recommend using them to anyone. Our Association will be using them again when we do the exterior painting of the club house. Why wouldn't I? They are GREAT!!

Mike was out the morning after he gave us an estimate. Was right on time, patched and painted the damaged area. There was a blister that appeared on the ceiling after Quality was finished. I took a picture and sent it to them. They got right back to me and were out the next morning and repaired it at no extra charge and was really great about it. This is the second time we have used Quality Control Painting. Mike and his team are very professional and both times the work has been excellent. Pricing is very reasonable especially for the quality of workmanship. I highly recommend Quality Control Painting and would use QCP again.

He came right over to give me the estimate, and fit me in the next day. Work quality was superb, and they checked multiple times to make sure it was looking right. Will use again.

I contacted Mike Edwards and two other companies by leaving a messages on Angie's List. He called me the following morning and came out at my earliest convenience to walk around my house. Our house is a challenge because the yard slopes down steeply in the back, making the eaves at the side and top gutter at the rear of the house equivalent to a 3 story house. The back of the house is also faces north, and it was pretty dirty. We had stained our deck three times over the last 10 years and had already decided we were going to have a pro do it. He told me what he would do and we parted with his promise of a written quote, which he provided via email less than 48 hours later. He followed up with a call to make sure I had received it. I was in the process of receiving 2 other bids. I chose Mike because his quote was comparable to the others, I was impressed with his professionalism and I felt we developed a good rapport. He was able to get started on the earliest day I could schedule him. He and his crew were prompt, he introduced me to them, I showed them the faucets, and they went right to work. They worked steadily with great attention to detail, and when they stopped for lunch his employee asked me to look at their progress and see if it met with my approval. He showed me a couple of areas he said he wanted to go over again. One area I had noticed; the other area he had to point out. After a short break for lunch, they returned to their steady and careful work. My shrubs and plants, even those surrounding the faucets were undamaged. When they were done, I was extremely surprised at how good the house looked. I think it never looked that good--our house was one of the first built in the neighborhood and obviously was covered in construction dust when we bought it. Mike returned to our house when the guys were finishing up to make sure I was satisfied with their work and to discuss what stain or paint I wanted to use and to schedule his guys to return and paint when the deck was dry. He provided some input and after we talked about the pros and cons of paint vs. semi-transparent stain, we agreed that paint was the appropriate solution. I'd already researched stain and paint reviews, and he recommended the brand that was favorably reviewed by the consumer groups. I'd picked a few colors I thought would work with the siding and brick colors, and we reviewed them together. His folks had to wait an extra day to return when the cloudy weather prevented the deck from drying as quickly as anticipated. Again, they were prompt, professional, got right to work and worked steadily until they were finished, again asking me to review their progress. Again, Mike came and walked around the deck with me. Again, they paid great attention to detail and obviously take pride in their work. I am glad to recommend his company to you readers. Great job, Mike. It was a pleasure working with him and his folks. I have a couple of interior painting projects in mind, one of which will require some drywall repair. I intend to call Mike when I'm ready to start the projects.

They started when they said they would, showed up on time every day and completed the job in a reasonable amount of time. Communicated status of the job routinely and did a great job. Very pleased with the professional manner of the owner and his crew. They came back the week after the job was completed to inspect again and touch up a few places as needed. Will use again in the future without hesitation. Excellent service!

The owner, Mike Edwards, is a consummate professional. His quote was the highest of three I received. I hesitated to go with him, but I was impressed by the detail of his quote, compared to the others. I was also impressed by his reviews here. Initially, I would have giving him average marks on price, but the job done was worth every penny. The whole job took about 10 days, in line with his estimate of 1-2 weeks. Sherwin Williams paint was used at my request. Glen, who pressure washed the house and steps, was thorough and also did my concrete patio at no extra charge. The prep work was slow going, but the actually painting went pretty fast. The painting process included the removal of the shutters so that the whole house would be painted. Mike's crew, Lee, Glen, and Brian were terrific. Lee, in particular, worked through some adversity without batting an eye. Part way through the job I asked Mike to include painting the metal fireplace chimney, which was done; and, I asked Glen to paint a few small vents pipes on the roof which he did on the spot. I don't recall if any of that was part of the original quote, they just did it. Mike and I did a walk through, just before the job was complete. He wanted to revisit the skirting in the back of the house. There was a large damaged area I had originally said to just paint over. He was politely adamant about replacing the damaged areas. It was the right thing to do, but my budget was already blown. Finally, I told him to "do what he could for $500". He replaced and painted all of the bad areas. He did the work himself, so I know he didn't make much money on it, and it took him a day and a half of his time to complete it. He told me that doing the job right was more important than the money. That personal commitment to "do the job right" really impressed me. In the end, I have a brand new looking house. I think Mike was just as excited as I was about how it turned out. If you can afford these guys, they are worth it.

Mike responded to our request very quickly. He returned calls in a timely manner and was very professional when he came, showing up at the designated time. He explained clearly the possible approaches to our problem and gave clear options. I asked that he send me a written estimate via email, and he did so. Inevitably we went with another painter who offered us a lower price, but I was impressed with Mike professionalism and assured him that I would write a review.

Don't hesitate to contact.......Mike and his son Brian completed superior services for us in a friendly, timely and professional manner. They performed the work as described in the estimate, quickly and with excellent quality finishing. Coming home, furniture was moved back, very little dust or debris. Our house looks literally brand new after the pressure washing. You can tell the pride they take in delivering quality results and we were pleased with the price. Can't wait to have more done by Quality in the future. We love the results!

Mike and his guys did a great job. The guys were great painters and cleaned up each evening before leaving. I will use them again.

Quality Control Painting did an excellent job. We just finished a renovation on our house. QCP was hired to paint almost all the interior walls. They were very prompt and Mike was excellent at communicating with me. He would touch base often to keep me informed on what the plans were for my house. QCP was also very accommodating with the other contractors that were also working on my house. If I felt that something needed attention, they were quick to respond. QCP was very easy to get along with. I would definitely use them again.

Mike Edwards came with his crew the first day to brief them on the job and then left them to do their work but he came back at least once each day to see their progress and check on the job. One of the men was more experienced than the other and he made sure the other man's work was first quality. I had already been working on painting myself. After the quote, while Mike and his crew were there, Mike was willing to make changes and offered suggestions for improving the looks of the job. I appreciated his professional taste. and I also was glad not to have to do the hard work myself for a less professional result. I had thought that the wallpaper would have to be completely removed before painting, but the men took off the outer coating and then prepped it in such a way that the results are beautiful. I am very happy. The paper in my split-level foyer had been there for longer than 10 years and it required extra care to get a good result, but the men came back an extra day to make it right. They also painted over some 1970s wood paneling with a creamy white paint, completely renewing the looks of the foyer. I would be happy to hire Quality Control Painting again. Trish Crew

He was very nice in that I still had not gotten the paint and he offered to get it for me which was very helpful. Very nice man, worked quickly and did an excellent job. Unfortunately, I can't afford to hire again.

Mike and his team were great! We have a 2+ story 1912 Queen Anne that was neglected for many years so there was plenty of work to be done. The quote was very fair compared to the two other estimates we got and we were very happy with the work performed. Mike was very responsive and was always making sure things were done to our satisfaction. After scraping and pressure washing, they replaced lots of rotten boards -- which included completely rebuilding about 8-10' of front porch. The ceiling was leaking badly and it turns out there were rotten support boards along the edge of the house as well. Needless to say, the work took longer than estimated, but we were happy to have things done correctly. As a testament to his service, we plan on using Mike and his team again soon for some interior work as well. We would happily recommend QCP to anyone needing construction or painting work!

The owner was very easy to work with to deliver the service we wanted and oversaw his workers. We used oil based paint for the cabinets and trim. He painted them by removing the doors from the cabinet, finished, and replaced them making the cabinets appear brand new. They moved furniture around and repaired holes in the walls so you wouldn't be able to tell there was any damage. His workers were professional painters and the entire crew did an excellent job. The price was expensive, but it was worth it.

Mike and his group were excellent. Walls look great and they were able to get all the walls done in around 5 hours. The workers were very professional and kind to my wife and daughter. Would recommend.

Mike's crew did a wonderful job. He has some great employees.And while this experience went fine, subsequent contact with this provider did not go well. I did not change the original ratings as they were appropriate for the work associated with this review.

no response from provider after several contacts. we need to get the work done elsewhere.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It had its good and bad moments. Once they started the work, the quality of the work was fantastic. They got in and got out without any issues. Once the work was scheduled, they were right there but it was getting the work scheduled that was a problem.

Mike and his team were prompt, professional and very customer focused! I will use them again.

I would definitely use them again for any painting needs.

They stripped the popcorn finish from my kitchen ceiling and repainted it.

We went with another painter due to our time restraints, but will use this company in the future.

Was contacted, and the work considered quickly, but told it would be several weeks out due to the # of deals bought. Had not heard back, so called and was told they would be there in AM. I said it would not work, but agreed to the following AM. Worker showed up on time, was friendly, and did a good job. I'm not sure that painting the risers and trim on our stairs was worth it to me in the end. Never heard from the owner to see if I was satisfied (was disappointed by that).
