Crystal Blue Pools

I hired Crystal Blue Pools in the summer of 2020 and after multiple delays they started the pool in December 2020. Work progressed at a slow rate but the pool was mostly completed by June of 2021, but there were unfinished lighting control issues and the capstones for our waterfall weren't completed. Bo asked me to pay the final payment and he would come back and complete the work. I have been trying for over 9 months to get the work completed and on the rare occasion he responds, he says he is with a customer/in an appointment/on vacation/etc. and will call back and never does.

Bo Hill of Crystal Blue Pools is a pleasure to work with when you are deciding to put in a back yard oasis. His attention to detail gives you piece of mind throughout the entire project. During the construction of the cement apron around the pool his crew removed their boots to blow off the clay dirt gathered on top to avoid added more from their shoes. I am very happy this is my second experience using this company.. We would recommend this company.

I was and still continues to be a horrible experience

This was my second pool that we had built and can really say I wish we used Crystal Blue Pools on the first one. After meeting with several pool builders, my wife felt that Crystal Blue’s owner was the right fit. Bo, the owner, is a true professional and keeps you informed all along the way. Changes to design were handled immediately, and costs were calculated fast and never what we thought were out of line. Looking at the steel foundation for the pool, most companies seem to slap some rods in place. But because we are building on a hill (with a retaining wall), they placed the steel 6" apart, not 12" to 18" like some would have done. We researched pool builders on and off Angie’s List, went to pool locations, talked to owners, and found out that Crystal Blue Pools was an A+ builder... and we agree!

We thought that we could follow online instructions on how to close our above ground pool without difficulty. So all week we had been cleaning pool out, balancing chemicals, taking out equipment like stairs to dry out so that by the weekend we could close up the pool with the cover. On Saturday I realized that we either did not have the right tools, like a compressor, or shop vac accessories or the like to blow out the water from the tubing and get as much water out of the lines as possible to prevent freezing, expanding, and possible busted pipes. Anyway, cold weather with freezing temperatures were headed our way for Tuesday of the following week. We realized by Sunday evening that we couldn't do the job ourselves and called Bo Hill with Crystal Blue to possibly come out and help us. We had first used Bo upon the reccomendation of a pool chemical place when he came out Spring 2013 to fix a leak when we opened our pool. Then he had came out promply, was very nice and went above our leak problem to make our system better at a very reasonable price. So, again, even after calling him late Sunday evening, he worked us in his schedule and came out Monday afternoon and finished closing our pool. He was very nice and accomodating and his price was very reasonable for last minute and fitting us in between a job he was already doing. We will definitely call upon him again with any future issues.

I liked them because they were upfront and honest in their pricing. The crew was incredible; they worked very well and did great work. Mr. Hill, the owner, was on top of the crew; he was here all the time. He answered all my calls and answered all my questions.
