Oscar/ Dania was hired to replace my shingle roof after Hurricane Ida in Louisiana. They required $5,000.00 upfront to purchase materials. Normally I would have been skeptical however they had just completed some work for friends and family members so i had built up a little trust. Things started off great. They were very nice and professional. I received digital and handwritten receipts for the $5,000.00 payment. This is were the delays started. About a week passed before they actually showed up to start performing the work. They worked for one day and left my roof exposed to the weather and rain. He came back the next day a tarped it and i never saw him again. I have tried calling 100's of times. Finally he responded through email and said he would refund my money however i have still not heard from him in several weeks and he will not reply to my countless emails. I will file a civil suit against Oscar, Dania and their company. I would highly discourage anyone from doing any type of business with them.

Oscar stole our money never completed the job. He did half of the first job but never finished but said would be completed. I should have known not to trust him when I wrote the check in the company name he said no something was wrong with that account put it in Maria Lopez name which she doesn’t speak good English. It’s a **** shame people want to take your **** money and not do the work. He had so many excuses his truck over heated then he didn’t have a ride every day there was something. He did a little bit of work and never completed the first job. I am so disappointed and upset as we work really hard to save up this money.

Ghosted us after completing half of the work on our screened porch and deck. Man in charge pretended like he didn't know who we were and that he couldn't hear when we finally got him on the phone weeks later. Left us with the trash and materials that we don't need. The full story is as follows: Oscar said it would take one week with good weather. One week later, they had worked a few days for a few hours, and completed about 30% of the project when Oscar asked for the remaining balance. We trusted him, and we paid the remaining balance, a total of $7200. Oscar and his crew only showed up 3 more times after that, and one of those times they just dropped off some supplies and left. We texted and called multiple times a week, asking very politely when he'd be back. They started March 6 and last showed up on March 25. When he finally responded, Oscar said they'd be back on April 1 but never showed. Didn't hear from him until April 7, where he had some excuse about his people not showing up, but that he'd be back soon. We haven't heard from him since. A week later, my partner called Oscar on a different number, and he picked up. He knows who she is, as they've talked several times when he was here. Oscar pretended like he didn't know who she was AND pretended like he couldn't hear, then hung up. Twice. We called Maritza Lopez D's number, since she's the one who cashed our checks. She picked up, but her English isn't very good. Thankfully, my partner speaks Spanish. Eventually she handed the phone to Oscar and he did the same thing: pretended like he couldn't hear, and then hung up. The address for their business (South Carolina) appears to be fake, as does the office number they use. Do not, under any circumstances, work with this company.

The experience started out well. The contractor showed me plenty of nice pictures and reassured me that he was a professional and I was in good hands. During the project, the contractor became impatient as I was purchasing materials as he told me. By the end of the project, I was left with a bathroom I could not use, mismatch roofing tiles, the stair addition project not even touch, floor projects had gaps all the way around the border, and a visit from the local department of social services with false accusations. I paid more than half of the project fees. I am very disappointed, ashamed, and embarrassed. I would not recommend this contractor to ANYONE!! UNPROFESSIONAL. (the problem was that we as owners wanted detailed professionalism in the work and the contractor wanted to do things his way and became upset)
