Description of Work: Provider has not responded to my purchase of "The Big Deal" of his services. NO Phone Call or email. Waiting for my credit card statement to see if I have been refunded for non performance. Enough to make me cancel my membership to Angie's list if providers list in my area, then say it's too far or plain old don't respond. Disappointed.

Description of Work: We had a heating pipe burst and called Rich for help. Unfortunately, he no longer lives in NY, but gave me two of his peers for me to call for help.

Description of Work: Replaced p-trap from wall out and completed installation of new faucet.. Rich was fast, knew what was needed, and did the work within an hour. Too bad he's leaving the area soon,

Description of Work: Richard saved us!! We had a leaking drainage pipe that was a complete mess and was disgusting. But Rich didn't make a face, he just took one look at it and knew exactly what to do. He went back to his truck and got the stuff he needed and fixed it within 30 minutes!! His attitude was very nice and accommodating, very very easy to work with. Made me feel at ease and did not charge a lot of money :-) When I complimented him on his work, he said it was nothing and said after 35 years in the business stuff like this is a piece of cake to him. I was very very satisfied.

Description of Work: Late this Sunday afternoon we noticed a persistent leak from our living room ceiling. We braced ourselves for some deep frustration and some serious damage fearing we wouldn't find anyone after 4pm on a Sunday (Especially with the Giants playing the Packers). My husband jumped onto Angie's list and hunted for the nearest Plumber. Luckily, we reached Richard from Precision Plumbing and Heating. We figured the leak was coming from our Master Bathroom but we didn't know how serious it was. My husband relayed this to Richard and mentioned it may not be something that needed immediate attention because we thought the leak had slowed, so he initially agreed to be at our house 9am tomorrow morning. After the phone call, we again checked the leak and realized the water was not slowing down. My husband immediately called again and let Richard know we now believe we needed an emergency visit. Without hesitation, Richard agreed to come. Within 30 minutes (We live in Saint James, Richard was coming from Nesconset) he arrived. He cut open the sheet rock in the ceiling and checked our bathroom upstairs. He immediately diagnosed the problem. There was a washer missing from our handheld shower and it caused a leak from the hose when the water was not fully turned off. Apparently this had been leaking for days without us knowing. Since most hardware stores were closed at this time to get the exact washer size he was able to give us a temporary solution by finding a washer he had in his truck that closely matched. He told us to purchase the correct size when the stores open again tomorrow, and instructed my husband with how to place it inside. Incidentally he and also fixed the stopper in our tub when my husband mentioned it had never worked properly. After he was done he insisted on cleaning the mess left from the open sheet rock. Leak is fixed, and my living room is (almost) back to normal.

Description of Work: Made two trips as we were having new kitchen counter top installed. Needed pipes lowered and shutoff valves installed. After counter-top put in needed sink and faucet installed
