J & J Air

After contacting 4 contractors and comparing the products they had to offer I chose J&J. Their product was not the least costly,but it is ,I felt to be the best value. I am not at all disappointed in my choice. The additional work with the electrical was performed quickly and the remaining install was completed on the same day. The system works great, is very inexpensive to run and we know have a heated space to use year round. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!

We had actually gotten three quotes from other companies and although J & J was not the least expensive they seemed the most knowledgeable. The service manager, Joe actually came out and gave us the quote and we felt very comfortable with him. He didn’t try to sell us more than what we needed and answered all our questions thoroughly. He coordinated the whole installation and stopped by several times to make sure everything was going well. The crew was very professional and worked well together. They wore booties in our home as well as cleaned their mess before they left. They took the time when they finished to answer any questions and walked us through the steps for the new thermostat. Since the installation, Joe the service manager has followed up with us to see if everything was working fine and if we had any questions. Great company!!

J&J Air was a great company to work with. They gave us all of the options for our new unit & were very honest & prompt. The unit has been working perfectly & they even sent a technician out for a free check up.

All the staff that worked with me were helpful, professional, and very thorough. There was good communication via text and email with times and names with pictures of service techs sent in advance. Service was started and ended when projected and the techs even came early. There were various checks throughout the day of installation and the next day to make sure everything was working to my satisfaction.

Made time for me that afternoon and had it fi9xed and cooling by 7 PM

They are excellent! The company is just outstanding, I am really fortunate to have them working on my house and I like them a lot. I will definitely recommend them and absolutely use them, again.

From start to finish J and J Air listened carefully to our needs and patiently fully answered all of our questions. The job required the use of a crane. Nevertheless, they were able to schedule the replacement within the timeframe we requested. Everything went well and was completed within a day. This included replacing the heat pump, the air handler, the thermostat, the drain piping, and the circuit breaker. Their quote was a little higher than a competitors, but the followup and quality of their products (Trane XR and Hyperion) and services was well worth it. Kudos to everyone involved: Chris, Gary, Derek, TJ, and Pat. Truly an honest and professional company. We expect to be a long term customer.

It worked out real well. It was a really good job. I enjoyed the staff that came out. They were really courteous and everything was really nice.

We were very, very happy. They come out every year to service us. They come in, wear booties int he house, clean up after themselves and go over everything thoroughly.

I would give them five stars. I own a lot of rental property, and I had to terminate my relationship with the person who had done mine before, because he did not want to stand behind his products. I used them at the beginning of the summer on four of my rental houses and then recently on my personal home. There were a lot of parts that had to be ordered. It seemed like we no more get one fixed before something happened to another one. I've got four rental houses and within a 60 day period either condensers went out, evaporator coils went out or Freon drained out or we had to replace a whole unit. Then we had to turn around on my own house, which has 3 units, and we had to replace 2 of them. A new central heating and air unit for you now, will run you, depending on how big your house is, about $8,000. It doesn't take much. My rental houses are zoned so that each level has it's own air conditioner. It cuts down on the heating and air for my tenants, to have it zoned. That way if they're going out of town or something, they can cut off the top floor or whatever. It's expensive. That was the price. They did an excellent job. Recently they came in, because my regulator had gone out. On the regulator it was $180 for them to put the new part on. We got a quote, because they all went out within a short period of time. Since it was the beginning of summer, parts had to be ordered. We had put portable air conditioners in everyone's houses so they wouldn't have to be inconvenienced while we had to wait for parts. They were excellent. Price was excellent. The guy I parted company with was more expensive than they were and didn't do near the quality they do.

It has been working fine ever since and repairman gave me a thorough analysis of my aging unit.

The service provider came to our home on a holiday very quickly after our call. He was very efficient and had the repair completed and the AC running in a very short time. He had the necessary part in his possession. This is the only service provider we could find that was willing to come on a holiday. We would definitely use J and J Air again.

I would highly recommend Jand J Air. They recently installed a new HVAC system at my mother's house in the Myrtle Beach area (Little River, SC). The salesperson Ron did an exceptional job with the estimate and explained everything to us before the work was performed. The installers, Wayne and JP, went above and beyond, not only to install the system, but to analyze and remedy the problems with the former system to make it much more efficient. All the additional time and work was included in the original estimate. Jand J Air may not be the cheapest, but I think they are the best and would absolutely use them again. So far, the Trane system they installed has proved to be excellent and is already saving us money in monthly electric bills.
