MASTER CONNECTION

I sent Mr. Masters an email on the 19th of December and he responded the following day. He told me he was extremely busy but since it was such a small job he could work me into his schedule. I told him that I wouldn't be at the house(this is a second home) until the following Friday and he said he would be there at that time. He asked if we had the materials and I told him that I thought we did but I wasn't sure if we had the correct ones so when he was on his way to another job, he stopped by to check the materials. I didn't have the correct stuff so he exchanged our purchase on his way back to our house after he completed the other scheduled job. He had to climb up into our attic to reinforce the porch, provided the materials for that and then had to correct the chain on the swing as it wasn't hanging even. Then only charged us $45.00 - $5 was for reimbursement of materials purchased. WHAT A DEAL!!!! He was extremely helpful and very pleasant to work with. I will call him again for any and all repair work that we need done. He stays extremely busy but I'll be glad to wait until he can work us into his schedule.

We needed someone to do some roof work and called Mark. He was. as always, very efficient and polite.

Ron is a talented person. No job too small. My first contact was back in the fall when I had one task - installation of a door knob...it did not matter to him that I only needed one thing! Never complaining or sighing. Easy to deal with, punctual and trustworthy.

Fantastic! Wayne helped us order the special door we wanted, with interior blinds. In fact, he went and ordered it and picked it up a couple of months later to complete the job, as we are seasonal residents. He worked on New Years Eve, just to fit us into his schedule and we sure appreciated it!!! The door is beautiful, his work was even better and everything was clean and neatly done. We highly recommend Wayne and Masters Connection and would use his services again in a heartbeat. Thank you Wayne!

Mr. Blauvelt was punctual for the quote appointment, prompt with his quote, and on schedule for staring and finishhing the work. He stayed in contact with any issues arising, and sent text photos of all issues and completed work. His work was high quality, and clean-up was very good.

Seemed like a nice fellow. We called him because of other positive reviews on Angies List. He came and took measurements, etc. in a punctual and professional manner.He said not to expect estimate for a few days..after the coming weekend. Well, I allowed the coming weekend to come and go, and then another after that. I then called and left a message. He never called with an explanation or apology, much less an estimate.

Very timely and professional work. Would hire him for other projects .

We purchased a home and the over the range microwave recirculated the exhaust inside the house. The range and microwave were located on an outside wall so I called Mark to inquire if he had time and ability to install a unit that would vent outside. We set up an appointment time and Mark came by the house for the estimate. We agreed on the work and Mark came on the date we set and installed the exhaust. He had to cut holes in the cabinet and the exterior wall in order to route the vent. He picked the perfect exhaust cover. It matched our other covers and the install looks great. We were both amazed at the force of the air flow to the outside. We will be asking Mark to return to our home for future projects as he knows his stuff and is very careful and efficient.

Job was accomplished as promised and I was very pleased with the result. I would definitely use again.

He is terrific and he is coming back again. They responded promptly to request, detailed pricing, came in actually under budget. You are talking to somebody in South Carolina who is a transplant from the North, a lot of people in the area were liver transplants from the North. This gentleman is from the North and for a Northener in the southern part of the country's point of view you can count on Northerner to do what he he says he is going to do. You can rely on him, they call you back to do the job as outlined you want somebody form the North. He showed when he said he was going to show up. He is very personable. He is an educated person. If you have ask him questions he will respond and is very professional.

,Work progressed smoothly and efficiently, as weather permitted. Our only complaint is that when the work was complete, the original estimate was changed showing almost twice the man hours,and thus, almost twice the price.i

Mark could not not service us due to schedule constraints so he recommended Scott Vereen of Scotts Ceramic Tile. Scott arrived same day and perfomed the estimate. Sott and Sheldon returned the next day and replaced the entire floor, They were on-time, professional and the quality of the work was excellent. We would definitely use them again. Thanks Mark.

Mark was hired to remodel two bathrooms in our condo in North Myrtle Beach, SC. From the start he was professional, on time, gave constructive suggestions, and submitted a bid in a timely manner. He started and finished when he said he would. We are located out of state and he kept us informed at every step of the process. Mark is the person that comes to your house, gives you the bid, does the work, and clean up after wards. He doesn't sub jobs out. If you every have a concern he just a phone call away. He knows what work is being done because he's the one doing it. As for the finished product, my wife and I could not be any happier. His attention to detail is impeccable. We have more work planed in the future and Mark will be the one we hire to do it.

Mark came to see us on July 14th after talking with him at length on the phone on July 12th. We wanted him to replace the carpet in the main area of our condo with hardwood floor. He was prompt and on time for the site visit. We were impressed with his knowledge. He indicated that he was a one-man operation. We got a ballpark quote from him the day of the visit and was promised a written quote in a couple of days. Even though the job was only just over 400 square feet of flooring, he told us it would be a 5-day job. We were a bit skeptical that it would take that long to put down an engineered floor. A week went by, then two weeks and I called him again to inquire about the quote he promised. He said he'd been very busy and was unable to process the quote. He said he would work on it and get it to us. I reiterated that we needed the work completed during the labor day holiday week. He said, no problem. Two more weeks went by and we called and left a VM. He never returned the call. We went with another contractor and are very happy with the OTHER contractor's results. We would NOT recommend this contractor for these reasons.

No answer, no response after repeated attempts.

Mark came to give us an estimate promptly at the end of a work day for him. While he was at our home to give us the estimate and found out we needed the AV work done, he immediately got down on his knees in the cabinet to see what kind of sound system was there. Before we knew it, Mark was tying the systems together and then he sat down to write out detailed instructions for us to understand how to use the system optimally (we are clueless when it comes to this kind of thing). Everything worked great! Mark charged us a third of what Best Buy's service group estimate had been! Of course, he was hired on the spot! Anyone who cares enough about his clients to write down detailed, easy to understand instructions without being asked for ease of use and loves what he does so much that he couldn't wait to fix the system for us is a rare gem! My husband and I had found our and quot;handymanand quot; for life in Myrtle Beach with that experience. But the biggest job we had was to remodel my laundry room, removing the existing wire type shelving and adding cabinets on two walls and removing a utility sink, replacing it with a cabinet and stainless sink w/faucet and adding a counter top on that wall. Mark did a beautiful job with the laundry room. I love it! In addition, he did every other small job that we needed him to do from balancing an irritating squeaking ceiling fan so that we could enjoy using it, to adding a motion light where there had not been one before, installing a purchased cabinet in our master bath water closet, fixing a screen door that slammed shut, raising a huge chandelier in our music room so the grand piano could be positioned correctly, etc., etc.....all beautifully done and all working perfectly now! But here's the best part about Mark Masters...not only is he an expert in carpentry, AV systems, electrical/electronics, plumbing and more, and very reasonable, he is the most upbeat, pleasant, accommodating individual to work with that my husband and i have ever had the experience of working with. We have already scheduled Mark to come back to do one more job for us. Mark Masters is indeed, a RARE FIND!

Was very professional, on time and very reasonable in price

We bought a forclosure and Mark helped us with so much of the repairs that needed to be fixed. He enlarged the patio, replaced some door frames that were rotted he certainly has a wide knowledge of everything and how to fix it we plan on having him back . his work is excellent and would certainly recomend him to anyone.very pleasant to work with.

He is very good. We like the way he works. He is so meticulous. He did a beautiful job.

Fine! From initial estimate to completion

The work went better than I expected - Mark did an outstanding job. I can't say enough how pleased my wife and I are with how wonderful the floor looks. Tiles are perfectly laid throughout the condo. I was a little anxious how the balconies would turn out, but was actually amazed how well Mark was able to set the tile around the railings and how great it looked along the uneven building walls. In addition, the freshly painted walls look great, the sliding glass door works as if new and the fan is far less noisy. The job took about three weeks to do. Mark started it on time and completed the job on the day promised. I wouldn't hesitate to have him do work for me again.

They send some one right out, and took care of all of my jobs.

When the previous handyman made a mess of remodeling the guest bedroom, Mr. Masters told him to return the panels, as he could make them cheaper than the ones purchased in Lowe's. I don't think the price was less, but the quality of his work was excellent. Mr. Masters was very responsible and professional. It would be a good idea to get an estimate before work begins. I was a little surprised by the price, but I'm not disappointed with the result. I definitely would hire him again and again! I'd also highly recommend him to others. He is a perfectionist, which is highly desirable!

Mark Masters was prepared to perform all the tasks and efficiently and professionally completed everything in a timely manner. His knowledge in each area (plumbing, carpentry and tile laying) was superb. He has all the correct tools to perform the work and knows how to use them effectively. His standards are way above anything we were expecting. His attention to detail was fantastic. We are extremely pleased with both the work he performed and the price it cost. We would be more than willing to recommend him to anyone for similar types of work.
