"Luis never showed up on time, did not bring his own ladder, very poor cleanup and he made no effort to protect my hardwood floors. I found water and sheetrock mud/dust under the plastic I put down. The pictures show his idea of a finished ceiling. He did very little prep before painting. I had to tell him the water stain beside the air vent needed Kilz. When he attempted to make corrections with caulk instead of sheetrock mud, I decided to mud and sand them myself. After another coat of primer, again, he tried to correct with caulk. I did the last corrections and final coat of paint myself. He used my furniture to scrape off his tools. Due to his expertise in cutting trim, the baseboards need to be replaced. He gouged my hardwood floor removing the shoe mold. All his sloppy caulking around my front door has to be removed and re-caulked. Google him for more pictures and zoom in, I wish I had. Perfectionist? That is a joke! Now I understand why he wants payment for half the job upfront."
