TREE CARE SERVICES OF LEXINGTON LLC

Theo and Joey did an excellent job of taking down the trees and removing the shrubs including the shrub roots. All debris was cleaned up and also removed. We still have a few more trees in the yard to be removed in the fall and will be contacting Jim ( owner ) to handle that job. Company is very easy to deal with, dependable and does an excellent job. Would definitely recommend to anyone requiring service.

It took 2 complete days with three men 2 of which climbed trees with support from one on the ground. A large truck was filled 2x with the branches they cut down. They worked hard and continuously. Ate lunch while working. Excellent work and they cleaned up the yard very well afterwards. I am very satisfied.

.Mr. Dicker and his son arrived on time and stacked the firewood they delivered. They were very professional and pleasant. We were very pleased with their services and with the firewood they delivered. Highly recommended!

Our firewood was delivered on time. It was a nice sized load of wood, cut and split just as we wanted, and stacked where we asked it to be. It is all hard wood and burns well. I will definitely order again, and recommend this company.

We haven't made our final decision yet to proceed with the work since the cost was a bit higher that we anticipated. However, if we do proceed, it will definitely be with Mr. Dicker's company.

Our back yard is wooded and we are closely surrounded by tall pines and hardwoods. We recently had a screened porch added to a second floor deck, and we love it - like being in a tree house. However, tree limbs were beginning to touch home's roof as well as this newly added porch. I contacted several companies and booked one that didn't show up. Then I contacted Jim from Tree Care Service of Lexington. He was able to meet me the next day, provide written estimate, and then worked me into his schedule that same day to take care of this job. He was professional and obviously very responsive. He was also informative, and is very concerned that no trees are cut or harmed that do not need to be. We were concerned about maintaining shade on our porch while still avoiding tree limbs being too close, and he totally understood and accomplished that. He was so knowledgeable and helpful. The job involved climbing high up the trees to trim the limbs. HIs price was VERY consistent with the other quote we received, but his professionalism and responsiveness were selling points. I plan to use him again this winter for another issue. I highly recommend Jim for this type service. My husband and I were very satisfied.

Jim came the morning after I called. He removed the tree from the house (and took some pictures for me) and cut it into sections for removal. I also use Jim for firewood because it is always dry and ready for use. He provides quality hardwood for fire use.

When I arrived at Mr. Dickers Place of business he was there to greet and welcome me. That is rare. I placed my truck in position to start loading the firewood. Mr. Dicker helped load my first load. After the first load had been completed. I paid him for both loads and told him I would return in the morning for the second load. I asked him if he had some fat pine to light the fires with. He said he would have a grocery bag full split and ready this morning and he did. When I finished unloading the firewood this morning. I started a fire in my wood stove. This wood burns better than firewood I have ever used!!!! I am looking forward to doing business with James Dicker again. I have already told several of my neighbors about Mr. Dicker and how pleased I am with my experience with him.

Jim answered the phone right away and came to give an estimate as soon as possible. He fit the job in the next day. He was very prompt, worked consistently, cleaned everything up and was reasonably priced. I was very pleased that he left as much of the tree intact as was possible while still remaining safe. He advised us on future care of the tree. He also offered us the wood chips made from the branches and cut the limbs into firewood sized pieces for our use.

Everthing went just like you would want it. The oak beside the pool was also next to power lines and it was old and rotten, so they had to be very carefull. They then pruned the oak over the porch with no damage and then removed the cypress trees alongside the fench. All the brush and debris was cleaned and removed,even debris that was there before they got here. So needless to say I was very satisfied and would use them again if I need tree service of any kind.

He does a great job. His pricing is right around everyone elses. He is very knowledgeable about trees. His firewood is good quality and reasonably priced. He is my first call for firewodd and tree service.

I had 3 quotes for this project, and they came in about even with the #2 quote. They had worked for a neighbor previously, and I trusted their recommendation. Received a quote on 3/23/10, accepted quote on 3/26, and work was completed on 4/15 and 19. Very professional owner and crew. Three on crew 1st day and 2 on 2nd day. Overall job completed within 12 hours total between the 2 days on site. All work done by climbing trees and pulling ropes. No bucket lift equipment or other mechanical aids used other than chipper and chain saws. Good attention to safety by crew - no damage or close-calls noted. Good focus on overall clean-up of limbs. Very punctual - owner called when to expect crew, and visited site to inspect completed work. These guys know what they are doing - give them a call.

I was very pleased with their work. They were not the lowest bid; they were the next to lowest bid but I liked that they told me pretty much exactly what they would do. I hired them because they told me what to expect and they did a great job. They cleaned up after they cut the tree down and I would definitely hire them again. Their price was excellent.

Owner arrived on the day and time agreed on for estimate. I received 3 estimates for the job and his was the "middle" estimate but I selected him to do the job because he appeared to be very professional . One suggestion I do have for him is that he supply the prospective client with a written declaration of insurance from his insurance company rather than rely on the customer to "verify" his insurance. The owner did not show up for the actual work but he sent two men who got the job done. He did do a "follow-up" and sent his men back to clean up a little better. End result was fine.

Contacted owner who came out and provided free estimate. Work was done @ 2 months later. Crew came and was very pleasant, got right to work and did an excellent job. Owner was on site several times during the course of the day to oversee crew. I'm very pleased all around. No complaints here at all! Will be using them again if and when I need this type work done. Great job guys!

He is licensed, insured and a certified arborist. He knows what to do and how to cut trees down. His prices are reasonable and he does an excellent job. He does a great clean-up. He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and has been in business over 20 years.
