Description of Work: On this trip I had them do 4 things. They moved 1 outlet. They installed a ceiling fan and a fan light combo in my bathroom. They also patched a hole in my hardwood floor that was there when I had a gas fireplace. It was the fresh air vent. It went really well. I will use them in the future.

Description of Work: This is about a return for completion of a project; not the initial visit. I purchased a deal. The technician was on time and put up a kitchen ceiling fan which had to be assembled and took several hours to complete. Another ceiling light was put up but did not work after the worker left. I called several times over 2 1/2 to 3 months to have it taken down (I couldn't get it down). Each time I called, I was promised he would come take care of it but he was a no show each time without a call. The owner kindly came after several complaints and removed it for me which I am grateful for but he also made excuses for the worker talking about how busy he was. I understand that but if the worker had just told me he couldn't do it due to other projects, it would've been more understandable than just not showing up each time he said he would. The owner said he would come out and put up my replacement light with the little time had left on the deal and I appreciate that but after so many excuses and no shows I decided to just pay someone else to do it.

Description of Work: Repaired leaking roof area over soffit and removed gutter guards and cleaned gutters

Description of Work: Not good. Was told that they don't make appointments. Said it would be approx 3 weeks before they could come do my repairs. I asked how we are suppose to schedule if no Appt. And was told they would call before coming. Said that if it were to rain during that time frame then it would be even longer. As of today may 27,2014 I have had no phone call, no email to follow up on ANYTHING and you guessed it... NO REPAIRS DONE!!then to top it off, At the end of the call I was asked if I understood what he was saying, that was very rude.

Description of Work: I called the Improvement Company to have several doors installed and/or adjusted. Lance Marshall came out, was very knowledgeable about doors and he did an excellent job! 2 of the doors he adjusted for free with a very simple fix after other handymen had quoted around $65 to fix these doors (the others had wanted to do far more complicated things to fix the doors). Lance knew exactly what was wrong and fixed these 2 doors in about 5 minutes.

Description of Work: We called and left a message. Dan made an appointment to see what the project would entail. He never showed.

Description of Work: The man came out looked over everything i wanted done to the house and said that he would make contact with me and send me an estimate via email. after a month and no response. I called it was oh yes Mrs. McClary i am going to send it out to you. 4 months later still no response. Don't waist your time with them if you actual want the work done.

Description of Work: Recently purchased new home which only came with gutters along the front ( who knew this was builder code ) had 2 estimates, chose improvement co., not just for price, but also becauce of the great reccomendations on angies list, they started aprox. 1 week after i called to confirm pending work to be performed. Mr. Clint and his crew showed up exactly at agreed upon time, and worked non - stop till job was done, also cleaned up work areas really well. It is really nice to see a company that shows up when they say they will and takes pride in their work truly concerning themselves with customer satisfaction,does the work as stated on the estimate, dosent add any hidden extra charges ( actually paid slightly less than estimate by using a company offered coupon ) The quality of the product and workmanship were both awsome. Im sure sometimes things come up beyond their control, but i believe communication between the customer and the business are the key to a successful business and a lot of other overbooked, uncaring businesses could learn a thing or two from the folks at the Improvement company.
