I called The Garage Door at 11 AM and spoke with Debbie. I explained my garage door had a broken spring that needed to be replaced. Debbie said she would call me back after she spoke with Garry who was on a call. She told me a broken spring would be about $125.00, but if we wanted Garry would PM the adjacent door which we requested he do. She called me back in about 5 minutes and said Garry could come from 2-4 PM. but he would call before coming to be sure it was a good time. He called about 2:45 PM and said he would be at the house in 10 minutes. He arrived and parked on the curbside to not interfere with clients going to and fro since our home has an ongoing counseling practice. He got right down to work diagnosing the problem, the spring of course, but also two pulleys had worn out bearings. He replace the broken spring and the one on the other side and the two pulleys. He PM'ed the adjacent door and made some adjustments. Both doors worked wonderfully, smooth and quiet. It was a job well done. The extra PM cost only $20.00 for a total of $145.00. Garry was a pleasant individual and seemed totally confidant in what he does. I generally prefer small service businesses versus franchises where the owner is out working just like his employees. That's how I did my business so if the client had a beef I was easily available to find a solution to make the client happy if at all possible. If you have garage door problems let Garry and Garage Door have an opportunity to solve the problem. We did and we will again if need be.

The folks at the Garage Company are great. This is the second time I've used them for garage door repairs. I called them about broken springs on my garage door. I received a prompt appointment and B.J., the owner of the company came to my house and took care of the needed repairs. He is honest, reliable and does great work for a very reasonable price. I would recommend them highly and plan to continue to use them in the future.

He arrived on time, calling as he was on his way. He had the problem diagnosed quickly. I mentioned that I had been told the spring was undersized, but he assured me that it wasn't, however he could adjust the cabling to make the door feel lighter. He then gave me a price of $130 to fix it. Precision Door wanted over $300 and said I needed a new spring. They also said what I really needed was a new door at over $1000. I cannot recommend The Garage Door Company highly enough.

I had damaged my garage door and track from backing into the door. Both the panel and track was in bad shape and I thought I was going to have to replace the whole door and track. They worked very hard replacing the panel and getting the track straighten out. They also try to replace parts on my old garage door opener but I ended up needing a new one. Through this whole experience I felt like GDC went way beyond to help me to save money and to make everything safe and workable. They called in advance and gave me fa status on parts being ordered and they were onsite as scheduled. Will buy my new doors from them. A+++++++ - Very professional; honesty; reasonable; hard working... can't say enough..Thanks Guys!!!!!!!!!!!

He was on time, curious and I would use him again. He returned our call and came when he said he would and did the job in about half of an hour.

I had a great experience with the Garage Door Company today. Their A ratings are well deserved. The repair man was very knowledgable and honest. He performed some preventive maintenance on my openers and gave me some good pointers on keeping everything working well. I would recommend this company highly to others based on my experience. They treat their customers right and I couldn't have been more pleased with their service.

I already had the part. 3 Year Warranty for the service. Gave 5% discount for Angies list.

We asked them to give us an estimate on a solution to the way the garage door sits on the concrete. They told us what needed to be done and referred us to the company that has the parts we needed. There was no charge for this but then we opted to have them oil the door opener and so there was a service call fee of $60, but they had said we could oil it ourselves if we chose to. The technician was helpful in helping us solve the door problem, even though they didn't do the work.

Rep was on time, was very professional in inspecting both doors and explained what was needed and what was OK to leave as is. Price estimate was fair with a separate cost for additional items if desired. We explained that it may not be immediate due to other financial needs, but we were assured that the estimate was good and we could call any time to schedule repairs.

Called late morning and came in the afternoon. Very knowledgable and honest.

I was introduced to this company by way of Lowes, they installed a new Garage Door i bought. They did a great job. The is not a scratch on the door and it works great. I have a rental house which the garage door spring broke over the weekend. I called them this morning and less than 4 hours later it is fixed at a very fair price.

Initially, I wanted to use his services because he participated in my non-profit organization's chili cook-off. His chili was good too! I am very pleased with the insulated steel garage doors that this company offers. Overall the garage door replacement was a good experience. Just be sure to check for nails and screws on the garage floor after the installers leave - in case they miss finding all of them.
