TERI'S TILE

I contacted Teri and made an appointment for her to come out the next day. She told me she might be running a little late but would call me if she would be late. The appointed hour came and she didn't show. She never called. I messaged her to see if she was coming. I never heard back from her at all. Since most of the reviews were older, I thought I would give her a chance. It appears she is still standing people up. What a shame. I would never recommend her to anyone no matter how good she is. She's not dependable.

Teri was very prompt with her estimate and started when she said she would. I had explained to her it was our only bathroom and I had to have the commitment that she would not start the project and leave to work on another job, once she started I wanted her to return every day until done. However there was a day where she did not show up and didn't call, and a day she went to work on another job.Overall I was very pleased with her work and would hire her again.

I don't know yet. Although contacted twice, she has never come back with an estimate. She is highly qualified but doesn't have control of her business. In my opinion, any business who disregards new customers is a business that will ultimately fail. I may use her, but would have to tie economic penalties to performance (just to make sure it got done). She is a really nice lady and seems to REALLY know about tile installations. Too bad.

Provider didn't show twice for scheduled appointments.

Showed up an hour and a half late, no tape measure, completely inappropriately dressed for first time client contact. Got email was told we would get an email in 2-3 days and never received one. Contacted by email 3 times a week to a week and a half later with no response?? Why come over and waste your time. Not proffesional in any way. Do not recommend.

Teri's Tile does excellent work! She will work within your budget and will go the extra mile to make sure the customer is getting his money's worth. An overall excellent experience!ar Green

Our real estate agent hired Teri to repair a leaky shower floor prior to closing the purchase of our home. She did a great job, so we called her again to install a porcelain tile floor on our new screened porch. She was responsive and professional, and provided us with a written estimate. We purchased the tile with her recommendations and stacked it on the porch. Her company did the rest. She showed up with her staff on time and the work was completed in two days. Chris, who installed the tile, has been with her for at least nine years. He did a terrific job, working quietly and diligently, consulting us on patterns and grout colors, and cleaning up after himself each day. He demonstrated his skill and experience by making a smooth and seamless transition to an improperly installed threshold on an interior doorway, eliminating a potential safety hazard. We couldn't be more pleased with the overall results.

With Step 2. of the process occurring on a Friday, the provider requested to come Saturday AM to complete the job. Unfortunately, we had a commitment that would not allow that, therefore, we made arrangements with the young man that works for her to come 1st thing Monday morning. I called Teri (the owner) on Sunday early afternoon to let her know we would not be home Monday and I would call her as soon as we returned to make alternate arrangements. I proceeded to explain to her that we were having to make an unexpected trip out of State due to a death in the family and were leaving to drive 600 miles, unsure at this time when we would be back. Her response to me was "Did I leave the check for her?" No, I did not, the job was still not complete (FYI~we offered to pay half on Friday, because the job was almost complete, we were told it was not necessary) She proceeded to SCREAM at me, and asked if I knew how I INCONVENIENCED her?? She also told me if she didn't have her money by the end of the week she was going to put a lien on our home!!!??? My response was that "I was sorry that this wasn't on her schedule" and I ended the conversation in complete disbelief! While we were traveling I recevied a text message from her asking to see her side of it, she didn't have a deposit from us and basically had been taken advantage of before. Well, if she had asked for a deposit, we would have been more than happy to have given her one, but she did not and we also had offered her $150/300 on Friday and she declined. I find her response completely unprofessional and unacceptable and it negates the quality of the work that was done. I do, however, want to be clear that the complete lack of professionalism and compassion was only the owner Teri herself and not anyone else that was in our home. She will not ever do any work for us or be recommended by us again.

They were very good. They kept everything clean. They showed up on a time and did a thorough job. They were also reliable.

My experience was great. She was so awesome. She did a beautiful job on the project. Our house is on the market we get a lot of compliments on them.

Teri's was one of three estimates received and fell in the middle. What sold us on hiring her for the job was her wonderful personality and professional certification. She is a person of her word and has a very high quality standard as reflected in her professional certification. It was a truly refreshing experience to have someone working in our home who we could both admire and respect.

TERI was responsive and very easy to work with. I would definitely use her services again!

We found Teri through a tile company which was on Angie's List. We called her and she came right out to look at the job and gave us our options on the grouting. We were very thankful that she told us about the epoxy grouting and we took her advice to use it and never have this problem again. We called her later for a date since she had some other jobs but there was no problem arranging a date for her to do the floor. She came on the date we set and brought along a guy who was helped her do the job so it could be done in one day. The floor looks unbelievable and I would definitely use Teri again. Her specialty is tiling and re-doing bathrooms, etc. We were so thankful she took the job. She is a great lady and did a wonderful job.

I got a quote early in the year and wasn't able to call back to schedule service until a couple of months later. She told me when I talked to her that she was very busy and that it would be a couple of weeks before she could schedule me. Three weeks passed and I called her again, but got her voicemail. I left her a message, letting her know that I was very interested and to call me back to give me an ETA. I didn't hear back from her, so I called again a week later. This was 4 days ago and I still haven't heard back from her. I called this morning and got her voicemail. (Note: Some of Terri's reply comments to Angie's List members were that her cell phone was broken. This was the case before I tried to get into contact with her again.) She was on time and very responsive when she came out to give the quote. It was only after this that I had trouble getting in touch with her to hire her. I can appreciate being busy, but either you return your calls or answer your phone. If you are too busy to take the work, let us know that you aren't free until the fall, or winter, etc., so that we aren't left wondering what's going on. It's rather sad to have to go elsewhere, especially when I was looking forward to giving the business to a female business owner. But, I need the work done in the next couple of months. If there was a C- to give her, I'd rather have given her a C- instead of a D.

I called Teri's tile on Wednesday morning and she was able to come out to my property that afternoon to take a look. I was actually in the middle of having my bathroom remodeled and had to fire my current contractor as he was trying to add on additional cost beyond what was in the contract. Teri arrived a little late, but did call to state that she was running behind. Teri was very knowledgeable about the job and I was really excited to work with her. She stated that since she was leaving to go out of town the following day, she would have the quote to me by the end of the weekend. I called Teri on Thursday to see if she would give me a ballpark figure of what the renovation cost would be as I wanted to hire a new contractor by the weekend. I never received my email quote from Teri nor did she ever call me back and I left a message asking her to please call me back. I would of really liked to work with her, but because of lack of professionalism in returning phone calls or sending a quote I had to go with another contractor.

Teri answered my intial call. The appointment time was 8:30am the next morning. Teri didn't arrive until 8:50am. She looked at the work that we want to have done and said that it would cost as much to replace a shower pan as it would the whole shower. I requested that she give a quote on both. She told me that she would email me the quote by the next day and I have not recieved it yet, it has been almost a week. I tried calling her but her voice mail box is full and I could not leave a message.

Very professional. Was on time and completed the job in the time period she stated.

I contacted Terri through Angie’s List for an estimate. Terri came out the next day. She gave us great suggestions on various patterns, measured, suggested the quantity to order, and gave us an installation estimate. She came back and did a great job installing the tile. She was very flexible and made a few last minute changes in the design. She took her time to make sure each piece was cut perfectly. She did exactly what she promised and charged us exactly what we expected.

I'm the author that gave an {F} rating to Teri's tile above. Please dis-regard my report and my rating since no quote was givin.I have since talked to her via email and everything is fine.I will accept my responsibilities and hold no prejudice toward her comments about not giving me a price quote. In the future if you are looking for quality craftsmenship, I would consider her for the job.I have heard from numberous sources in the area of tile and bath remodels that she does great work and has been doing this for a long time and has the respect of the competitors that are in the same type of work,with nothing but great things to say about her. please disregard the posting 7-18-11. Came out at the confirmed time looked at the job took some note never received a price quote or responded to my voice mail.

She came to the house to give an estimate on fixing loose porcelain tiles in the kitchen. I also asked her to give an estimate to replace tile in one of our showers. Have not seen nor heard from her since her first visit.

Everything went well. They did excellent work, and I will definitely use them again.

I actually found Teri on Angie's List. I had 2 other people in my home to give estimates and I did not feel comfortable with them at all. They could not go into specifics and that does not put you at ease. After I found Teri on here, I called her. Within 24 hours, she was at my house and I had a detailed price quote via email the next day. It is very obvious from the initial meeting that she knows exactly what she is doing. It took about a week to get everything done in my master bathroom. My husband and I picked out the tile and trim at a local store Teri recommended. I changed my mind halfway through the project regarding what I had picked out to put on the tub face. When this happened, I called Teri and she immediatley gave me a new quote as they had to remove the tile from the tub face and I also decided to replace the entire exisiting tile floor. The bathroom looks great now and we have received many compliments. Teri has one guy that helps her, Chris. I saw him most of the time and he is one of the most hard working individuals I have come across. He was on time every day, cleaned everything up before he left and answered any small question I might have. I left him alone in the house most of the time. Teri and Chris and 2 very trustworthy people. Teri was very helpful in recommending who to use regarding our replacement of shower doors, fixtures and the tile itself. I have 2 other bathroom projects in the future and Teri will be the first person I contact. I would recommend her to both family and friends without any hesitation.
