My neighborhood association asked to get a bid from David Linette and his company, Southern Textures, on repairing some of our sidewalks. The sidewalk was painted, and the paint was going to have to be removed in order to do the work. However, the first quote we received simply neglected to include the extra cost of removing the paint. The second quote adding in this cost was a little confusing, so I asked if Mr. Linette could meet me on site just to make sure that we had the same scope of work in mind. We schedule a day and time to meet. On the day of our meeting, after about 15 minutes had passed from the time that he and I had scheduled to meet, I telephoned Mr. Linette and he said that he had gone to the wrong place. Inexplicably, Mr. Linette had gone to the office location for the management company hired by my neighborhood association, which is about a 20-25 minute drive away. I said that I could not wait any longer that particular day and that we would have to reschedule. instead of simply rescheduling, he became angry and very hostile over the telephone and said that he didn't want to do business with us (I don't understand what he was talking about) and then hung up the phone. I called back to try to explain that I was merely a representative of the neighborhood association, and that if there had been some confusion with management company, then I wanted to apologize. I was never able to even get those words out of my mouth, because Mr. Linette was too busy yelling, and then he hung up the telephone. It was horribly inappropriate and unprofessional behavior. I would not recommend doing business with anyone capable of acting that childishly over something so small.

I call the management co. to comfirm the app. the morning of and the manager was too busy to take my calls!! I left several voice mails but not a call back.when I arrived at the pre set time the manager took 10 mins. to see me, "your at the wrong place" ( the management co. was very unprofessional in handling this appt.) I had never spoke with the member, and I did not have his phone # to comfirm this appt. myself. on the way to the neighborhood the member called me I told him I was 5 min. away but said he could not wait any longer and would need to resechedule the next month. The member when someone makes two trips downtown to measure a job and to meet with you at lunch time on friday you could have waited 5 more min. and when a small job starts off this poorly it won't go well, and I told you I did not want the job. you got mad and kept calling me and texting me.I called the manager at managment co. and she said she did not recieve any of my voice messages, all but called me a liar. You should find a better management co. it would save everybody a lot of time and money.
