We were well pleased by Mark Bracci and each of his subs. The project was estimated at two weeks and was completed on time and on budget. Mark communicated well with us and kept us informed and we had no surprises. We would recommend Mark to anyone, in fact, we already scheduled him to do our second bathroom. And a bonus, his shower glass connection (Ray Howard/Deft Glass) is excellent.

Renovation Innovation was prompt, dependable and affordable. Mark completed my kitchen remodel after my prior contractor never returned to finish. Mark and his crew were wonderful and the end result far exceeded my expectations. From here on out I will only use Renovation Innovation for all my remodel needs. Thank you Mark!

There is not enough good I can say about Mr. Bracci and his company Innovation Renovation. They went above and beyond my expectations. Mr. Bracci and his crew were extremely clean and respectful of my home. They always laid down covers and never tracked dirt or anything in my house. The work completed blew me away and was top notch. True craftsmanship and professionalism. He was extremely personable and easy to do business with unlike most contractors. Everything was straight forward and he followed through on everything that was promised. I had such a good experience that my parents in Lexington S.C. used him for a renovation as well. If there is ever anything I need in the future Innovation Renovation are the first people I'm going to call. You are making a mistake if you don't use this company!

Our projects all went exactly as planned. Mark listens to ideas and makes suggestions for what will work and what will not. He is always on schedule and looks for ways to cut money from the budget. There are never any surprises. He seamlessly works with subcontractors when needed and the craftspeople he brings in have always been excellent. In addition to his work being impeccable, he cleans up at the end of every day so that you barely notice he was there. He is respectful of our home and so entirely trustworthy. I have no reservations about leaving him alone in our home. He’s even taken the dogs out for us. We literally will not hire anyone else to work in our home!
Description of Work: We first hired Mark to remodel our mater bathroom. After that successful project, he has done a number of additional jobs for us- remodeled our upstairs bath, tiled our fireplace surround, laid hardwoods throughout our first floor and rebuilt our deck. We plan to use him for a kitchen remodel as well- he is the only one we trust!

Mark's work turned our two cramped, Sixties-era bathrooms into spa-style retreats with beautiful new tile and fixtures, thanks chiefly to his great attention to detail. He made sure that we got exactly what we wanted and in a timely manner -- two weeks from demolition to a completed bathroom. He's straightforward, easy to work with and good about replying promptly to questions and calls.

The Master Bath was completed in 8-9 days. And a similar time line for the other 2 baths together. 3-4 extra days for the laundry room. All work completed and well done in less than a month.
Description of Work: Mark Bracci remodeled my Master Bath that was 20 + years old. He addressed unforeseen problems with knowledge and experience. Mark helped me choose tiles and stone to complement my existing colors. Mark and his 2 assistants were quiet, clean, well-mannered, timely, and professional. They cleaned and vacuumed every day before leaving. Plastic covered all vulnerable areas. We were so pleased with our Master Bath that we asked him to stay on site to remodel our other 2 bathrooms plus our laundry room. Our housr has a whole new attitude! I highly recommend this professional and Christian man along with his 2 assistants.

Mark is FANTASTIC! We hired him first to remodel our master bath. He relocated our shower and enlarged it. (fixing some water damage that he found in the process) He installed new tile floors in the bathroom and master closet. He installed our new vanity and behind it, did a custom tile wall that I had decided on at the last minute! He installed all finishes, like sconces and the chandelier. He brought in some wonderful subcontractors for painting, electrical and plumbing. We were so thrilled with the job, that we hired him to fix our guest bathroom which a previous contractor had absolutely botched. It was a huge job to repair the mistakes, but in the end, we were once again totally pleased with the workmanship, the price and the detail that Mark Bracci brings to his work. Mark also removed our carpeting in the master bedroom and living room, and the engineered hardwood in our kitchen and replaced it with hardwoods. All the projects turned out exactly as I had envisioned them, and were done within the schedule that was originally predicted. (or a little sooner) His price is fair, he is a total perfectionist and a great communicator. We are so happy with Mark's work that we intend to keep finding home reno projects for him to do!

I was scheduled to meet Mark for a quote on Wednesday at noon. When I arrived at my house from work, he was there waiting for me. He estimated the amount of tile the job would require and told me that he could do the job on the following Monday. On Monday, I had to drive my children to school across town and was stuck in traffic. Around 7:40, I called to let him know that I would be running late for our 8:30 meeting time. He said that he was already close to my house and that he would go ahead and set up outside while he was waiting for me to return. Once I arrived, he went straight to work. He did a fabulous job with the tile and cleaned everything up before he left. He returned the following day to grout the tile and again arrived early to work. My husband worked for home. When I arrived home in the evening, I was delighted to see such a wonderful backsplash. It really ties the kitchen together and makes the kitchen look much more high-end. I have already discussed several other projects with Mark and I look forward to contacting him to complete them in the near future.
Description of Work: Mark installed a marble mosaic tile backsplash in our kitchen. He also switched out the outlets and light switches from white to brown to better compliment the tile, cabinets, countertops, and fixtures.

Provider does outstanding work. He is an artisan. Floor is beautiful, even better than anticipated. Everyone who sees it is amazed at its beauty. Provider was professional and task oriented. He arrived promptly and worked steadily, finishing several hours earlier than estimated. We could not be more pleased with the work.
Description of Work: Covered the entire living room floor with ceramic tile. Floor had been covered with carpet which was damaged in the flood and had to be removed. Living room is large. We selected and purchased the tile based on provider's recommendations and had it delivered to our home.

Mark is the most professional service provider I have ever met. From the initial meeting through several weeks of work, Mark arrived on time everyday, began work and communicated with me as needed. He is an absolute perfectionist, he isn't happy unless you are and the quality of his work is unlike any other. Our project exceeded our expectations and the reason why is simple.....Mark Bracci. I am looking forward to more projects and I wouldn't even consider hiring anyone but Mark. Description of Work: I had Mark and his multiple sub contractors renovate my kitchen and bathroom of my 1930 bungalow. He has left us with a disastrous situation, ranging from an improperly installed shower that leaks and will have to be torn out and completely redone, to uneven ceiling and shelves. We have cabinet doors stripped out and falling out of the openings, very expensive marble tile cracking and breaking on the walls and floor, and wires hanging from the walls that were supposed to wired with lighting. The plumber came back to address the shower leaks multiple times and had to tear open the new sheet rock, which remains open. The leaks are not on him, but is how the wall tile does not meet the shower base. It is a nightmare that I recommend any and all to steer clear of. To spend so much money and get such ridiculous final work that will have to be redone properly is appalling. When I tried contacting Mark to tell him that the shower was leaking, he told me, "you should stop stressing and enjoy your kitchen and bathroom. You got more than your money's worth". So terribly unprofessional and unhelpful.

Response from Renovation Innovation
This house was built in the 1930's , also in a flood zone. I can not be responsible for structural settling issues, this should have been addressed before any remodeling work. The work i provided was for cosmetic upgrades Not structural problems. Any failures at all were caused by settling issues. I take a lot of pride in my work and i have never had a failure in any of my renovations! I been in this line of work for over 30 years and i don't know of any contractors that would have gone above and beyond to complete this job!

From the very beginning, Mark was great. He was on time for initial meetings and was very detailed as we discussed the work that he would perform. He also arranged for his subcontractors to come over early in the process so we could meet them before moving forward with the project. The quote he provided was detailed and clearly stated what work was included. Cost wise, the quote was very fair. Mark started when he said he would start and arrived ready to work each day. He worked efficiently throughout the project and made sure the subcontractors also stayed on task. He was very honest about any problems that arose during the renovation and made sure we were happy with progress. In the end, the kitchen turned out better than we ever expected. Additionally, the project was completed within our budget. I highly recommend Mark and have already done so to several friends. If we ever need work in the future, he will be the first person I call. He is everything you look for in a contractor-professional, prompt, honest, hardworking and skilled at what he does.

They estimated $7800. Just form the time he has been over to give us estimates and talk to us, we felt very comfortable in dealing with him. It is a big job so he showed us some pictures of other renovations he has done and we are just looking forward to when he finishes the work. He is working on multiple jobs at the same time, so he gave us the time of two and a half weeks. He was referred to us by one of the individuals we used for plumbing. First of all, we were very comfortable with the person we dealt with. He described to us what he was going to do. We talked about materials and things so we would be going out with him to pick out tiles and all that. He has been upfront with us about how long he is going to be on this new job that he is currently on and when ours is going to begin. He drops me an email every now and then to touch base with us on the schedule. He was on time both times he came. If things go as mentioned in the contract, we would use him for a second renovation we are looking at.
Description of Work: We got an estimate from Renovation Innovation for remodeling one of our bathrooms. We have some water damage so they are replacing the tiles and repairing the water damage on the sub floors. They are taking out the tub and taking out all the tiles in the tub. They are replacing the shower door. They are putting in a new tub, new tiles and new glass closure. They are replacing all the fixtures, redoing the floor with new tiles, taking out the old vanity and putting in new vanity. They are putting in new wallpapering and painting the walls. They are replacing all of our light fixtures. They would also remove the popcorn ceiling and repaint all that.

It was good. They were helpful. They were really friendly, prompt, and he was here when he was supposed to be. The thing that I didn't like about them was just the quote I felt was kind of generic. It wasn't very specific and that's why I didn't end up going with them because he just gave us a generic quote but I didn't know what was going towards the tub, what was going towards the shower, how much it was going to be for what they were charging for the labor. It wasn't broken down inside and I didn't feel comfortable because I didn't know how much we had for costing so I felt like the quote was kind of pricey.
Description of Work: The Renovation Innovation provided us a quote of their remodeling services in June. If they got the job, they were going to redo the bathroom, the shower, the tub, and do some wiring.

It went very well and the bathrooms and downstairs bedroom are beautiful. I recommend that before the first sledge hammer or crowbar comes into play that you have already sketched out what you want and that you have lined up your materials. It would be best if you have already picked out your tile and check out supply availability. We did not do that and had to run to three or four tile stores looking for the tile we wanted. Mark was also left running around looking for it. Big time waster. Also, find your cabinets and get them ordered asap. It takes a little over two weeks to have the cabinets made if you go with Mark's cabinet man. I tried to get it going faster by shopping furniture stores but most of the dressers one would convert to vanities are now several inches higher and most can't be converted easily. If you are getting your vanities from Lowe's, they also have to special order them and it can still take time. Also get your granite picked out fairly quickly as this will also take a week's time to process. If you are particular about faucets, mirrors and other speciality items, go surfing on the internet and get them ordered quickly. Any backorders will cause disappointment when everything is finished except you don't have a faucet. It's also good to have your paint colors picked out and if you are particular about a certain paint store, notify the painter as soon as possible. I ended picking my colors out the night before and it turned out well. But because I picked out my tile at the last minute, I was up at night holding paint cards next to tile pieces and it was frantic. If the devil is in the details - the details can be the devil so just educate yourself on what is available and know what you want. Beware of looking at $50,000 dollar bathroom suites on internet sites and clicking print thinking you found your bathroom. Well, unless you have $50,000 laying around. But it's best to sketch out how you want it look, confer with your contractor on what is feasible on your budget and then hitting the pavement or the internet to pull it all together. I have been told that Mark often uses his design skills to remove this burden from other clients, but I'm aware that some clients want to control every detail of the outcome. There's nothing wrong with either approach, but it's advisable to know which approach will be used in the project.
Description of Work: A fellow church member highly recommended Mark to us as they had Mark completely renovate a bathroom in one of their rental properties. They really liked that they could completely cede the project to Mark as they both had full time employment obligations and could not oversee the project. Both the landlord and the renter were completely happy with the outcome. Early last year the plumbing in the upstairs of our home began to leak within the tile wall and the water seeped through the downstairs ceiling and wall causing significant damage as well as a serious mold issue. Two supporting beams were completely saturated with water and were beginning to fail structurally. We were deeply concerned as to how it would be repaired as one part of the beam involved a joist. Mark came to our home and offered a comprehensive quote that would replace the following items in the downstairs bedroom: the damaged beams, the entire ceiling, the light fixture and the wall. This would also include repainting the entire room. Mark recommended we replace all of the plumbing lines running through the ceiling of that downstairs bedroom to ensure that we would not have further damage in relation to the room. I was especially relieved by this recommendation as this was at least the fourth time I had knowledge of water seeping through that ceiling and causing damage. We agreed with Mark to go ahead and tear down the two bathrooms upstairs all the way to the 2 x 4 studs. It was then that Mark found that all the subflooring had sustained damage and everything from the very thick platform of cement under the tile to the six hundred pound cast iron tub had to be removed. Mark did all of this without damaging any other part of the home. Even though Mark found that the damage was more significant than he accounted for in the original quote, he did not pass this cost on to us. We had both the master bedroom remodeled and the guest bathroom remodeled. We also installed a dresser with a vessel sink in the bedroom. All the materials chosen for both rooms were selected by ourselves and some of the fixtures came from highly recommended plumbing fixture and cabinet maker distributors that work well with Mark. Several problems were encountered along the way in this project and Mark saw them through. His electrician of choice, CREW, consisted of very polite and hardworking as well as knowledgeable men. I really appreciated that the paint contractors repainted the downstairs room using quality paint from Sherwin Williams, priming with special primers that inhibit mold and mildew and also patching sheetrock holes with excellent precision. The tile work in both bathrooms are top notch and involved the use of stone. The walls were tiled and trimmed in the hall bathroom to the halfway mark and all of it is done with precision and is beautiful. The recommendation that we use Shepperd Glass proved to be an excellent choice. Their installaton of both doors is top notch and the doors are beautiful and function perfectly. Top consideration was given to the condition of the home both inside and outside and the spaces were always cleaned and everything was removed and disposed of properly. I have had other contractors in the past who have left paint drips, scratches on the floor and messes everywhere and that was not the case with this company. Light fixtures, mirrors, faucets, new doors and many other things were installed beautifully and with precision. Also, the new granite counter tops were installed beautifully. If you go with Mark, you should definitely ask for that wonderful granite man. One piece of the granite was cut incorrectly and the owner pulled out all the stops to get it corrected. He also did a beautiful job on the beveling and other special requests and his crew handled themselves professionally and they did a perfect job. When the job required it, this crew worked after hours into the evening and on Saturdays. One Sunday afternoon was involved. So you can count on them to work any hours necessary to get the job done as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality. One more comment on the heavily damaged room downstairs. Mark had to brace one of the joist and beams and there was further unexpected damage. He stopped everything to make sure it was braced and corrected before allowing sheetrock or flooring to be brought in. We were out of town at the time and just had to trust that he would take care of it. I really appreciate that I don't have to think about it anymore. The most severe damage was under the tub itself and posed a significant safety risk as well as being a problem structurally. I am still thanking God that tub didn't fall through the rotted beams to the second floor with someone in it.

As before, Mark did an excellent job, leaving the work area neat and clean at the end of each day and a beautiful finished product. The renovation in this part of the house was planned to be completed the first week of August, but it was delayed due to the delay in receiving the kitchen cabinets - the factory had closed the week of July 4th so that employees could clean the factory and enjoy the holiday. Mark stayed in touch with the cabinet contractor and made sure that the punch list for the cabinets was completed. Mark is completely trustworthy - I had surgery for a knee replacement the first week in August and was comfortable with Mark taking care of things in the house when I wasn't there. I came home to what one of my friends calls "a whole new home." Would I use Mark again? In a heartbeat!!
Description of Work: Mark and his assistant removed the carpet and kitchen cabinets, loaded furniture into a rented storage unit in the driveway, and removed the kitchen cabinets. Next, they painted the kitchen/dining/living area (great room) and the hall between the bedrooms and installed laminate flooring. Mark oversaw the installation of new kitchen cabinets and counters and arranged for a plumber to install new pipes and the kitchen sink and faucet. He put in a white subway tile backsplash with a beaded trim. He also put in porcelain tile in the laundry room floor and painted it. After the work was done, Mark and his assistant moved the furniture back into the house and, using pictures from before the renovation, hung pictures that I would not have been able to reach.

Mark was very helpful with advice with selection of flooring, toilets, jetted tub, replacement mirrors, hardware, paint and tiles. He never "pushed" anything and always took budget into consideration. Mark was and is always extremely courteous and punctual; he consistently left the work area neat and clean. When he had someone helping him, he provided excellent supervision and lead by example. His attention to detail resulted in a great-looking finished product. He finished within the projected time frame and within budget. Both bathrooms received rave reviews from friends and family. He did such a great job that I am now having him remodel my kitchen.
