PROFESSIONAL TREE SERVICE

Description of Work: On July 24, 2015, David Moore from Professional Tree Service came at my request (having obtained information from Angie's List) and carefully surveyed our yard and discussed with me what trees needed trimming and/or removal. He provided me with an estimate of $2800 minus the $400 Angie's List savings. This was a reasonable estimate and we agreed for him and his crew to come at our mutual convenience to do the work. They arrived promptly this morning (Aug. 31st) at 8:30 and he and I reviewed again the work to be done. This entailed pruning off all the old dead limbs from our numerous old trees, removing sagging limbs, etc. They promptly set to work and beautifully performed what I requested, finishing up by cleaning up the roof of the house using a blower, carefully replacing the chain-linked fence and gate that needed to be removed for their equipment to get to our back yard. He and his whole team worked efficiently and carefully, and when they were finished at noon, everything was neat and clean. If any questions arose concerning the handling of any specific bushes or tree limbs, David or a member of his crew asked for my wishes, which were carefully respected. I appreciated the honesty, respect and cooperative manner that they all exhibited toward each other and me. I gave them an on the spot $100 tip and informed them that I would be happy to give them an excellent review for their efforts.

David Moore provided a prompt estimate. He and his crew appeared precisely on time to begin work, explained what was being done, gave me some choices as to trimming options, and also removed limbs and blew leaves from the second story rooftop of house. Mr. Moore and all his crew were polite, very articulate, working efficiently and carefully, handling their equipment with precision and ease. Excellent cleanup. Pricing reasonable for the quantity and quality of work. Will definitely hire this company again.

Description of Work: I had a really large hackberry tree cut down. It was about 6 feet wide across the base and the limbs ran over a playhouse and my power line. Professional Tree service took care of contacting the power company and also placed plywood on my yard to keep the equipment from digging into the ground. They did a fantastic job

Description of Work: Professional Tress Service removed a tree for me. They were very clear about when they would come to provide an estimate, and then when they would be able to schedule the removal. On the day of the removal they had their stump grinder broken, but offered me the option of doing that part later or having them pull up the roots - which they did. They did an excellent job of cleaning up the yard and disposing of all evidence of the tree. I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

Description of Work: I contacted David to get a quote for the removal of a 45' dead oak from my backyard, as well as trimming a willow, birch and other oak trees. He arrived promptly as promised for the quote, did a good survey of the work we wanted done and gave us a quote, with the Angie's List discount. We scheduled the work for two weeks out, however, he was able to move the service up a full week, which fit my schedule perfectly. David and his team were great - they removed the tree and went beyond on tree trimming. They cleaned up the yard extremely well, leaving no mess behind. They had the appropriate equipment and safety equipment. I will definitely hire them again.

Description of Work: I was dreading the expense of having some trees taken down in my yard, but the fact was, they were dead - and leaning toward my house - and HAD to come down. After reading Angie's List reviews for tree removal services in my area, I chose David Moore at Professional Tree Service and what a GREAT CHOICE! I emailed my request & brief description of what I thought needed to be done via his website and a few days later, I got a call from him saying he would be passing by Orangeburg on his way home from the beach and asked if he could come by. After walking with me around my yard as I pointed out what I HAD to do as well as "what do you think about ...." confirmed that I had indeed made the best choice in finding the right match for what I needed to do. From the beginning, it was never about "you have to do this, this and this." David quietly listened to everything I had to say as he intently studied not just the trees in question, but my entire yard, then gave me his opinion. David's approach is professional - not high pressure. His opinions and recommendations were right on the mark and quite conservative. He even suggested alternatives to his recommendations to help me stay within my budget. He was honest and straightforward about prioritizing what should be done now and what could wait for later. After we decided what would be done, I was more than pleasantly pleased with David's estimate. I was immediately quite impressed with the appearance and politeness of David's team when they showed up bright and early on the morning of the 21st . They went to work like a well-oiled machine - each with what appeared to be a pre-defined task that complemented what the others were doing. They took down four big gum trees, one pine tree, and trimmed several huge limbs off an oak tree and two more gum trees. Within a few hours, everything was finished and looked perfect. I have to say, when I looked out my window and saw them raking fallen leaves into their truck along with the tree debris, my expectations were more than exceeded! I could not be more pleased.
