The installers were so nice to us and really took care of us. The men at the office were really caring and wanted the best for us. We love our new floors!

We were not happy with the service. We chose a local company, thinking that communication and customer service would be great, but they were not. Communication was poor, a major error in the order required more than a month to correct, and it was hard to get information about what was going on. Also, we're not very happy with the carpet that was recommended for the high-traffic room - it's already showing wear after just a few months.

Visited their shop, plus discussed over the phone about my hardwood installation requirements. They request me to visit their shop, which I did. They set the appointment to visit my house, took my address, phone number, and email ID but never showed up. Neither a call or email that they have missed the appt. They left the impression that they are not very reliable and trustworthy.

Very pleased with final product. Initial install crew was less than exemplary however the crew that came the second day was top notch and they completed the job with professional and quality install.

This was not my first experience with Floorboys. Because of a positive experience several years ago in our prior home, I decided to visit them first when we were ready to replace the carpet in our current home. They were very helpful without trying to 'sell' me on a specific product. They advertise having the lowest price. I confirmed that by visiting a large chain store, that advertises they will beat anyone else's price. I had them price the same carpet, padding & services. Floorboys' price was several hundred dollars lower. Floorboys' installers were efficient, courteous & careful with our furniture as they moved it and made sure the area was clean before they left. I will certainly go to Floorboys for any flooring needs I have in the future & recommend them to anyone else.

It went very smooth. We had a water leak in our home and had to shop for new floors. My husband visited Floor Boys and met with Michael. Michael actually took the time THAT day to come out to do an estimate for us because he wanted to help us speed the process along due to our water leak. I called Michael numerous times after hours with questions and he was nothing but helpful and polite. When the workers showed up to put the floor in, we were at work,but when I got home, they had over half the floors done and they were determined to get them done because they knew we had been walking on concrete floors due to the water leak. Workers were super polite and didn't let little things like my two dogs barking, and my 7 year old daughter walk up and down the hallway for a few things get them agitated!! The workers were nothing but polite to my family. If we had any questions they answered us right away and again......super polite!!!! My floors are completed and they look fantastic. The price and quality of the customer service was all around an A+ for me. I will be recommending Floor Boys to everyone!! AWESOME JOB FLOOR BOYS!!

Installer did not show up at appointed time nor did he or anyone call to let me know he was not coming. Very poor customer service. Evidently the installer told his manager he called me but I have my phone log history to prove he did not. Had he called, rescheduling would not have been a problem. When I finally talked to the general manager all he had to say to me was "there are two sides to every story" and his installer said he called me. This told me everything I needed to know about both the installer and the company's customer service (or lack thereof).

They showed up on time and even were able to fit the three day process into our time frame so we were on vacation at the time of service. The two guys that showed up were there on time and very friendly and professional. They even were able to text me pictures of the floor while I was away and the stain color so I could see it. I was very impressed with the whole process from start to finish. Burt was very responsive in setting up the appointment and was easily reached through email and always emailed me back in a timely manner. I highly recommend this company.

Bart and staff did a great job! They came on the scheduled day and got the job done. Floors look great!

Floorboys showed up on time and provided excellent service. They were very courteous and pleasant to work with. They explained how the service was going to be perform and finished on a timely schedule. I love how the floors turned out and most definitely would use Floorboys again.

Visited the store. Seemed like nice guys. Our original communication with them got misplaced but they apologixed for the misunderstanding. I think Dean and company really care about providing excellent and honest customer service. We felt like they gave us good information about our flooring options and things to consider.

I am responding at this time to report that Mr. Bart Taylor emailed us on 6/15/15 that he mistakenly emailed our proposal to wrong address. Also, today, 6/24/15, he called to apologize for error. We are sorry the long delay caused us to hire a competitor, though we really looked forward to their expertise on our hardwoods. We appreciate apology and change rating accordingly. This is an update from 5/21/15 review. Cannot say we would never call Floorboys in future. We felt they were very fine representatives of the company when they came out and we have no desire to claim any less. We wish them continued success. Thank you.

I was so impressed with this company! We had an urgent need... we moved back to our house after being away for three years with the Army. The tenants had left our master-bedroom carpet infested with fleas and covered with pet stains, and we only had a week or two to get it taken care of before our furniture arrived ! The Floor Boys were able to come out, give us a very reasonable estimate, and get the floor put in before the furniture came.The laminate floor looks beautiful and very nearly matches the hardwood floor in the rest of the house. We're very pleased!

The process is relatively easy - they have a nice store on 378 in Lexington with lots of samples and they offer good advice. the installation team was great - nice people and they did a very nice job. One of the perks of Floorboys is a 3 year installation guarantee. I think you can beat their price if you go to a "big box" store - but personally I think it's worth a touch more to have it installed correctly with a great guarantee. I recommend them.

They were awesome. There was actually a mix up in my order and they were right on it and made the proper adjustments, with no hassle at all. They were very customer service focused.

First of all, FLOOR BOYS responded immediately to my inquiry via their web site. They set up a meeting with us quite soon after that, showed us options that were in our price range, advised us on what would look best and wear well. Then they coordinated the removal of the current floor covering with the other company who was painting our interior walls. Smooth sailing. To anyone who has ever had a job like this, you know how important it is that: - Delivery of materials was on time. - Start of work was on time. - Each subsequent day, the crew (led by Selden <-- the best!) arrived on time and set to work promptly and quietly. - They were always and unfailingly considerate of the office work going on while they were working on the floors. - The crew members were totally professional in every aspect. - They worked quickly, no wasted time, no long breaks or early departures. - The work area was always left each night in an orderly fashion. The completed work -- 12,000+ sq feet of floors: offices, conference areas, kitchen, library -- is beautiful.

They started on Wednesday afternoon and finished on Friday, Left note on 2 doors about what not to do until March 20th. The floors are beautiful and look like new. I would hire them again anytime. They were very professional and took care with walls.

They were very quick to respond to my inquiry, and provided me with the name and number of someone who might be able to assist me. I contacted the reference, and he was very polite, and agreed to contact me later in the week to schedule time to come out and do the job. I have not heard from him since, and I have left several messages. While Floorboys was great in providing me with this information, I don't recommend using their referrals.

I was impressed/appreciative at how fast they replied, and how helpful they were.
