Do not use this company for backflow tests! I called Cottrell for a simple backflow device test. I was charged $213 for a backflow test which was over twice the amount I was told to expect by friends and family who had the same test done by other plumbers (one even showed me his invoice for $35.00). It is an absurd price for a very simple test and far overpriced compared to other plumbers in the area.

This company is the best of best! Extremely nice, caring & well trained in their skills. They have gained a customer for life. I highly recommend this company for any of your air conditioner needs. Josh was very professional and responded quickly to my air conditioning issue. He sent Logan out to fix the issue and he was very knowledgeable and didn’t leave until he was able to figure out the issue. They are greatly appreciated!

They did very well and they are very patient. They are pleasant and they were on time. They clean up their whole mess.

I can’t express enough how much I appreciate the services from Josh, Micah, and Andrew. The customer service went above and beyond. Josh always responds quickly and is always available. Micah was so accommodating and brought a portable AC unit to keep me comfortable until we were able to order a part. She even made sure my puppy had water available in the room with her. Andrew did a wonderful job replacing my blower motor. Thank you so much for the professionalism, knowledge, and most of all; truly caring about your customers.

They claim to be available 24/7 for emergency calls. I had an emergency at 9pm, so I called the number, and it went straight to voicemail. I left a message, then also submitted an appointment request via their website. No one called me back until 9am the next day. 12 hours for emergency response? Not much help when I've got a leak that needs immediate attention. Don't bother with these guys if you have an after hours emergency.

Could not turn off my water line after my outdoor water spigot broke...it was a Saturday and they were super busy. The manager came out personally and fixed it. Thank you!

Forgot to add my review from April 2020. They replaced water inlet valve (which took about 7 minutes total) and charged me $150. I asked about if they could do it cheaper and I was told "No". Will look for someone else next time.

Not only did they replace the drain pipes, they replaced a shut-off valve that Love Plumbing said couldn't be fixed less than a week before.

I have used this company for over 15 years and their service is consistently excellent. My most recent encounter was with Josh and Jason. They were professional, polite, knowledgeable, reliable and kept me updated throughout the entire project; which was completed promptly. I wouldn't even consider using another plumbing company.

Scheduled an appointment with a two hour window and they didn't show. They didn't even have the courtesy to call, Unprofessional.

GREAT! Put off calling a plumber thinking it would be expensive and a hassle. Cotrell is excellent! Repaired our problems, responded to our follow-up call, and did not over-charge. Very, very pleased and will definitely call them again when I need a plumbing problem resolved.

Fantastic work. Quick evaluation, simple repairs, easy on the wallet. In addition, Cottrell was also extremely efficient. Our day was not disrupted hardly at all. We all had smiles on our faces when he left. I will hire him again in the future!

We bought an older home, built in 1955, which needed a lot of plumbing work done: replace and repair old drain lines, install a commode, remove an old expansion tank in the crawlspace, new waterline for the toilet, install a new water heater, etc. They did an excellent job making repairs and trouble-shooting problems that we were having with our plumbing. They are knowledgeable, great with customer service, arrive on time and follow through until the job is done. I would hire them again without hesitation.

Very well. I have used this company many times since they opened. I tried other companies when I moved into my house but found this group off plumbers to be the best overall. They do excellent work, come when I expect them, and are always considerate.

I used this company for a plumbing issue several years ago, and was thrilled to find that they've expanded to HVAC as well. My old unit was emitting carbon monoxide, so I needed it replaced ASAP. Cameron, the main contact person, was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He patiently answered all of my questions, even reviewing the air quality report for my home. One Cottrell gives you an estimate for the work, they stick by it, even if it becomes more involved than expected. They honored their estimate for me, although some additional electric work needed to be done, and the old system was difficult to remove. This company is hands-down the best I've ever employed, and I plan to use them for any home projects that crop up in the future. Honest and reliable.

Problem was quickly identified and fixed.

Had a problem over thanksgiving with a fairly new Delta faucet. Had already replaced the valve with no success to stop the leak. The service guy came early, called before to ask if it was ok. Problem ended up being extremely minor as he replaced a small washer on the devertor to fix the issue. Gave me an extra washer for future problems. Had a $25 coupon for using Angie list and he only charged me for the actual service call $49. Was extremely pleased and would definitely use again
