Job was not accepted. I was told they did not perform this type of work. To me, this simply meant they did not want to take on this work. It's plumbing, right? Water in and water out. Apparently they have enough business and didn't need mine so I won't be bothering them again with any possible future requests.

It was 39$ for one drain only; I have 8 drains total in my house. I inquired what it would cost me for another drain to be cleaned and it would have been more than twice what I had paid from Angie's List for one drain.

I cannot say enough about this group. Our installer was wonderful and very professional. This was a big job and they made sure to do a very thorough job and clean up after themselves. The job took a little bit longer than originally planned but they were upfront about this and it did not inconvenience me in any way. Also, my exterminator said they did a really nice job underneath the house and he was impressed with their work (good because I was not about to go underneath there!) I will definitely use them for my future plumbing needs. Price wise, Cotrell was right in the middle. They were not the cheapest quote I received on the job but were also not the most expensive. Right in the sweet spot!

Used the office in Aiken, SC. They are the best plumbing contractor I have ever used. I am in poor physical health and can't do small jobs like I used to so I decided to join Angie's List. My first project was worth more to me than my small annual investment. I am sold on this contractor and recommend them for all plumbing needs.

They offered efficient, on-time service, and they were very polite.

A pipe from our hot water heater has sprung a pin hole leak. I called Cottrell at 9:30am and they arrived at 2pm. This was a Saturday so I knew there would be some wait time. Justin had the leak repaired within 20 mins and we had hot water again! They also gave me a discount for mentioning Angie's List. Thanks Cottrell, we would use you again.

Set up appointment, arrived and gave quote, they then set up another appointment to complete the work. They did a great job, would hire them again.

Our Water Heater was acting up and Joseph came out to work on it. After diagnosing it was an electrical issue, not a plumbing issue, they did not charge me for a visit. I assumed I would get charged at least a Sunday charge, but they were honest and did not charge me for work that they did not have to perform.

They showed up on time they used the time efficiently did the work cleaned up and also offered a fair price no complaints they did a good job.

When the repairman arrived I asked for an estimate to fix a dripping shower head and dripping kitchen faucet. He advised both would be around $175. I advised him to proceed to repair both. Afterwards he claimed there were issues with removing a piece to fix the shower head and it would be more. I asked him to see the part and he could not show me what he was referring to. He then gave me an excuse why he could NOT fix my dripping kitchen faucet. When he finished he charged me $200 to fix a dripping shower faucet and did NOT repair the kitchen faucet. I was very disappointed. He charged me more to fix one then he had quoted me to fix both. AND he could not show me or prove to me there was a problem with fixing the shower drip. I think he saw a chance to take advantage of a woman and proceeded to do so!!! Also, after he left I noticed he put the wrong date on the receipt. He dated the receipt two months prior. This is fraud because they warrant their work for one year....well he just took two months off my warranty. Luckily I paid with a check and proceeded to print a copy from my bank's website after the check cleared. I will NEVER use Cottrell Plumbing again!!!!

Thanks to the great flood of 2015, I had standing water under my house and discovered an unrelated drip from a leaking shower drain. Cottrell came out, located the problem and replaced my faulty plastic shower drain with a no-calk brass one. Was very satisfied with the service and would absolutely call back for any future plumbing needs.

I called the company about the issue and they were here the next day. The person came in help clean up the water that had flooded the water heater and helped turn on the water heater back on. He said if it goes out again, the water heater may need to be replaced. Hot water came back up in a few hours and no issue ever since. What I am mad about is the steep price. He charged me about $80 just to do this. I don't know if Cottrell is taking advantage of the storm to charge up or that is their normal price but it is still too high. I would not use them again.

They sent Justin out the same day. It turned out that the pilot light had just gone out so he re-lit it for me & said since he was in the area already, there was no charge. I have called them on numerous occasions for things such clogged pipes & leaking faucets, etc. and they've always been prompt, professional & reasonable. I will definitely continue to call them for all of my plumbing needs.

I have used Cottrell several times over the past couple of months on my personal home and at our business, and they have been excellent in every respect. The fact that all of their plumbers are Master Plumbers makes them a cut-above other plumbers that I have used and everyone they sent to do the work was truly knowledgeable and able to quickly and accurately diagnose and repair issues. Most recently, we had another plumbing company spend thousands of dollars of our dollars digging up a sewer line and, when they finished, the problem was not solved. When I had Josh Lovette, one of Cottrell's Master Plumbers, look at it, he diagnosed the problem in less than five minutes. It is a faulty toilet, and digging up and replacing the sewer line was not necessary at all. Apparently, we just spent $18,000 for no reason with the other company. These guys show up on time, care about your home or property, are meticulous about protecting flooring etc. in your home or business, are honest and fair in their pricing and simply do great work. I can't say enough good things about them.

I had a new kitchen faucet I needed installed, and a toilet was running. I was not home but my son let him in. He showed up a few minutes early, and took care of everything. He was done in about 90 minutes, but that is a guess. I will certainly use him again if the need arises.

Every time someone came out, they were very friendly and professional. The only complaint I'd share is that when they drained the septic tank, they did so into the yard! Because it was on an incline, the sewage was draining through the yard and into the lake. The neighbors complained of the smell (I don't blame them) and DHEC came out because they were contacted. Otherwise, they were very friendly, polite, professional and knowledgeable about their work.

Very responsive and very professional. Found a really hard to find leak in the ceiling and repaired the leak. Took care of the problem once it was found and the entire process in dealing with them was very positive. Cost estimate was right on and they cleaned up everything. This is the second time I have used them and highly recommend the company.

They are excellent. I think they are honest and the cost for their service is very reasonable. One of the services was around $125 and they had to come back out. I knew they were coming back out and they did not charge me for the second visit. In fact, he just invoiced me for the first visit. It was not like I had to pay him right then and there. The people that they sent out before always explained everything that is pretty easy to understand. They make recommendations, but they do not try to force anything on you. In fact the last person who was here has been here a few times now, his name is Justin. So, I would highly recommend Cottrell and specially him.

Master Plumber Justin came earlier than scheduled (he called first to see if that would be OK) and was very professional and pleasant. Most importantly (and in my experience unusual for plumbers) he was very systematic and showed a high level of knowledge in figuring out the cause of the problem before recommending a solution. He did the work and 2 weeks later it appears he did an excellent job. Also, I am the kind of homeowner who stays with a worker and helps when I can (e.g., I turned the main water off and on multiple times when that was needed). I like to learn and understand what the problems and solutions are, so I can make better decisions in the future. Justin was open to my involvement, and I did learn from him.

Excellent. I was not home so my wife was left to deal with the plumbers. Two were sent out and she found them to be professional and personable. They did the work quickly and cleaned up when finished. Also gave her an estimate on some additional work being considered. Their positive and professional approach made me a winner for the day with her.

Cottrell was not the least expensive of the three quotes we got, but they were the most straight forward and showed the most attention to our requirements, not tankless sales goals. Excellent communication and professionalism by Justin, master plumber, Brett, assistant, and Jason, owner. The hot water remove and replace went smooth, excellent attention to detail and care to protect walls and floors. When they encountered an acoustic coupling of the recirculation pump to the wood floor causing an excessive rumble, they worked tirelessly until it was solved and we were satisfied with result. Supplier had sent a Binford 5000 pump by mistake, when only a Binford 500 was needed as Tim the Toolman Taylor would describe it.

The quality of service was great. They were very professional in telling me exactly what they would do, how much it was going to cost and the work was done by a master plumber. I couldn't have been more satisfied. I felt the price was reasonable or I wouldn't have hired them.

Josh gave the initial estimate and Justin and Mike did the work. I am more than pleased with the work and professionalism of the company. The admin person/Receptionist was very nice. She always answered the phone or returned my calls when I left a message and was just friendly. All work was performed exactly like they said and there were no changes in price. The did exactly what they said and even repaired things that the builder failed to properly install. I would recommend Cottrell Inc. to anyone that is looking for professional and speedy service.
