This company provided outstanding service at a very reasonable price in a very short amount of time. I have finally found a plumber with whom I can have a lifelong relationship. Thanks again for a wonderful experience.

I was cleaning out the guest bedroom closet and smelled mildew....look at baseboards and found mold...went under house and found water spewing our a PVC joint...I was able to temporarily stop the leak...came in and went to my laptop to find a plumber...Angie's List! I was very concerned by the amount of water I found on the sub flooring...not as bad as I thought. Only need to allow it to dry and treat with a mold preventative solution...Very Happy with the results. Thanks Angie'S List and the Cottrell Co.

House sewer was backed up. Called Cottrell's after 9pm. Had a discussion with Jason, and it was determined that the problem was probably outside of the house. Jason suggested I call the City Sewer Department first, to see if it was a City sewer issue. It turned out to be my issue so I called Jason back after 10pm. He was ready to come out but I suggested we wait until the next day. Jason called and arrived the next day on time. He identified the problem, was able to locate, dig and unblock the line. Problem fixed within 20-25 minutes.

Identified themselves properly, wore shoe covers, did an excellent job from start to finish. Would reccomend to friends.

The toilet would not stop running and then the tub faucet decided it didn't want to stop either! My water bill was off the chart. So I turned off the water to the toilet and removed the faucet handle from the tub and used a screw driver to turn the water to the tub off completely. This meant I had to share a bathroom with the men in my family. So I made a desperate call to Cottrell & Co. after finding them on Angie's List and seeing their great A rating and positive comments. The young woman who took my call to set up the appointment was very friendly and helpful when I explained my situation. Jimmy Yonce came to the house on time and was very professional and friendly; he even took his shoes off before entering the house, even though I told him it wasn't necessary. He quickly recognized the issues and quoted me a very fair and reasonable price (much less than I had anticipated!) and this is the price I paid when the work was done. Jimmy rebuilt the toilet tank and replaced rusted bolts (rusted from using bleach tablets), and he fixed the shower valve and even got me a new faucet handle because I had cracked the original one. He did it all in about two hours and was very nice the whole time. I feel lucky that I was able to find such a trustworthy, competent, plumber who didn't try to rip me off. I called Cottrell & Co. and told the receptionist what i needed done and asked for a quote. We then set up an appointment for the next day. They called and asked if they could come earlier than the scheduled appt. and were in and out of my house within 1 hour. They had a difficult time getting the old faucet out due to it being incorrectly installed when the house was first built. They did a great job, cleaned up after themselves, and were very pleasant and professional.

I had discovered a small leak at a connection to our water heater a few weeks ago and after searching on Angie's List, I decided on Cottrell and Company. I contacted them on a Wednesday and they were able to schedule the appointment for Friday. Jimmy Yonce and another employee were able to come earlier than scheduled which suit me just fine. I showed Jimmy the leaking water heater and connection. He was able to clearly explain the problem (why's, what's, etc.) and said he can easily fix it right then. The price was reasonable so he got started right away. Thirty minutes later he was finished, cleaned up, and writing up his paperwork. Thanks to Angie's List, I was able to have the service call fee waived (~$50). I will definitely call Cottrell and Co. again for any plumbing and water heater work.

I called Cottrell and Company, a plumbing service I have used previously on various occasions for a bid. The first task was to cap the waterlines and remove the ice maker line. As my friend and I completed various parts of the job, I would call the owner, Jason and say I was ready for the appliances to be re-installed and we would select a day and his employees would appear to do the work. They did a great job, got everything working just fine and worked with the electrician to get everything that needed power hooked up correctly. I am very pleased with the work and I love having a gas cook top again!

After purchasing an appropriate replacement unit I consulted Angie's List and based on recommendations, I contacted this plumbing company and made an appointment for repairs. Plumber arrived on time and was professional, efficient and helpful. He first removed the broken faucet and replaced it with the new unit. He then corrected the bathroom leak. He also gave me several helpful hints to avoid some future problems. I plan to use this firm again when we begin a kitchen remodel.

Cottrell and Co replaced our original 100 yr old plus main water pipe that led to our house. The service technician was very professional and kind and even though the company was extremely busy that week they worked us in due to flooding in our basement, having to turn the water supply off, etc. When I had to call after hours one evening, the owner of the company personally called me back after stepping out of a PTO meeting he was attending. We would definitely hire them again.

We had a leak from an upstairs bathroom shower that had dripped down onto the ceiling downstairs. I emailed them on Tuesday morning @ 4 am (I work night shift) and asked if they could help repair this. I received an email back by 8:30 am the same day with an answer and phone number to call and set up and appointment. I set it up and Josh Lovett was my plumber. He came out right on time, took his boots off at the front door and got right down to business investigating the leak and what it would take to fix. It ended up being a leaking shower drain. Josh gave me a price to fix, went to Lowe's to get the part and came right back. He fixed us right up!! No more leak!!! From the initial contact to the end of the visit was maybe an hour and a half. Josh was so nice and honest!! He looked at a few more issues for me also! This was a great experience for us! Thank you Josh and Cottrell & Co.!!!!

We called on Thursday 8/9, and they came on time as scheduled the next day. They were polite, professional and fixed the toilet quickly. It's been working fine ever since. We were very happy with their service and will definitely call again when we have a plumbing issue.

Our electric hotwater heater went out after 10 years. I called this morning and I got a call back in less than 5 minutes. After a brief description of what services I needed, I was given a time period and told the repairman would call me when he was on the way and he did. He explained what I needed to know and after I made my decision, Jason the owner did the work quickly and the cost was less than he estimated. Everyone involved was professional and friendly. He has a staff, but he works with them, too, and sets a great example for them and his three kids. Also, he explained that his wife is also involved in the office. I found out she was the one who helped me on the phone and she was very friendly and helpful. She asked me when I called how I found them and when I said Angie's list she told me about the members discount which I had already seen. Sure enough, they waived the $49.50 service fee (as advertised by Angie's list). Furthermore, after the job was finished, Jason informed me that since my unit was in such bad shape, when it "expires" this total expense will be used towards the purchase of the new unit. I found a real jewel of a service provider in Cottrell & Co. thanks to using Angie's list and you'd better believe I will call them to handle the next need, too.

The plumbers came on time 7/17/2012. They took the old facet apart and after they determined the item number of it, Mr. Jason Cottrrell called the maker of the facet , Moen. After describing the problem to the Moen representative, he got the Moen rep to send us a complete new facet free of charge. Then the plumbers re-installed the old facet so we would have water in the kitchen until the new one arrived. The new facet arrived at the house late on 7/20/2012, so we called Jason's office and scheduled an appointment for 7/23/2012. The plumbers arrived and installed the new facet. This installation necessitated installing two new couplings to fit the new facet. After checking the new installation out to our satisfaction, they cleaned up and left.

We had a leaking valve where we replaced a dishwasher. The leak got progressively worse until we had to have an emergency water shutoff by the city. We called Cottrell and set an appointment for the next day. About an hour into the two-hour appointment window, Jason Cottrell called that he was running late and asked what would work best for us -- to come late, or reschedule for first thing the next (Saturday) morning. He arrived right on time Saturday, evaluated the situation, and replaced the valve. He took the time to take care of the garbage disposal as well, even though we hadn't mentioned that when setting the appointment. He explained exactly what he'd done and why, with the advantages. The fee was extremely reasonable, and Jason was courteous, respectful, and friendly. I've never had a better experience with a plumber.

Service man came out assessed the each situation. No charge. This is the second time Cottrell has serviced me with no charge. I will definitely use them again just so I can pay them for something.

Jason did a great job replacing a kitchen faucet for me. When I contacted him by phone he was able to come out to give me an estimate within a few days and scheduled the job the following week. I am super pleased with the job he did and how fast he was able to get it taken care of for me.

Contacted Cottrell Plumbing on Thursday and he came out Friday to give an estimate. After reviewing the job, he was able to run the line and get everything hooked up while he was there. Worked out great because it was the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. Fantastic installation.

Each of my interactions have been professional, timely and fairly priced. I have recommended Jason to everyone I know, and will continue to do so. As someone previously said, I would give him an A+ if it was an option.

Called to get reconnect scheduled and they worked me in so I didn't go over a long weekend w/o water; he called and said he would arrrive at 12:30 if that worked for me and he arrived at exactly 12:30. Not only reconnected but corrected the plumbing which was already there and was so nice and friendly while installing.

ijason called to advised me he was on bis way. he used a powerful snake thingy and unclogged. he cleaned up and talked to me about what caused tge stoppage and how to prevent in the future. i also had him look at my disposal which was shot. i really like his professionalism and southern charm, and not to mention hes a handsome fella. i highly recommend

They worked quickly and efficiently and Jason mentioned that he was supervising an apprentice on the project and he was one of the few that had a formal apprenticing program along the path to being a master plumber. I had no issues with the service, punctuality, professionalism and even quality of the work. Where I had a dissatisfied experience was in the final bill - $900. Granted I had performed one of the classic mistakes in not itemizing it via a written estimate on the fly, but never in my wildest dreams thought it would approach nearly $1000. Throw in the fact that there was no reduced rate for a journeyman/apprentice learning on my home and the overall experience makes me continue to not want to use them again. This is a shame to me since I appreciated the quality of the work but not for the burdensome cost.

The man that came out was a very outgoing, professional, young man. They were running ahead of time and called to let me know they would be early. He looked at the toilet and found that the problem had fixed itself. He wouldn't charge me for the service call. I would certainly use them in the future. If I could give an A+, they would get it.

I thought they were wonderful and did a great job. I thought they were extremely professional. It was the best experience with a service provider that I have ever had.
