Very honest, reasonable rates and did a quality job!

I needed a pipe repaired in my ceiling and was worried about the the damage from the leak as well as damage the repair would cause. Josh was able to remove a small section and repair the pipe. While he was here I asked him if he could check the screens in all of my sinks and showers. I also requested he drain my hot water heater because the water had been turned off a few days. He also checked some plumbing I had done by a friend who was not a plumber. He replaced the plumbing in a toilet tank. He took his time and I never felt like any of my numerous questions were annoying. I can't say enough about Josh - courteous, very knowledgeable, prompt, efficient, fair and respectful. Everyone I dealt with in person or by phone was extremely polite. I was so pleased with the whole experience that I have told everyone in my social network who to call if they need a plumbing service. I will call Josh and Cottrell next time anything comes up. Highly recommend. I joined Angie's List to look for a plumbing service I could depend on and I'm so glad I did. It really made a complete difference in the company I chose.

I called to make an appointment for repairs to two leaking toilets and received very prompt, friendly, professional service from the office staff and Mr. Cottrell himself. They had a coupon for Angie's list members, so the $49.50 service call fee was waived and I just paid for the actual repairs. I will definitely use this provider again.

They came out to provide a FREE estimate. he gave me a price on the spot and I asked when he could do the work. He did the job on the spot. He had everything he needed on the truck and there was no goofing around. Very well done.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK. THE OWNER DID THE WORK HIMSELF. ALL OF HIS PLUMBERS ARE MASTER PLUMBERS. HE WAS ON TIME AND VERY EFFECIENT. I WILL DEFINITELY USE HIS SERVICES THE NEXT TIME I NEED A PLUMBER.

Josh came out the day of my call into the office and was able to diagnose the issues in the first 3 minutes. My main drainage line running from under the house to the street was not at a proper grade level to allow for optimum drainage flow. The first thought was to simply raise the line to correct the problem. After another look, Josh saw that if he raised the main line it would cause other issues the way the rest of the piping was put together. It was determined that he needed to cut out and reassemble the 2 main drop down junctions (from the two bathrooms) and raise their levels to still be above the grade leading to the street. There was not enough time in the day to get the work done so we rescheduled for 2 days later. Josh was on time (called first to make sure I was home) and got straight to work. The job was done and everything works as it should. I can't say enough about Josh - courteous, very knowledgeable, prompt, efficient, fair, respectful and I could go on and on. He also spent some time with me after the fact on some do's and don't so no issues happen down the road. I will call Josh and Cottrell next time anything comes up. Highly recommend!!

This is the 4th time I have used these guys and every time I have been very happy. They are neat, polite, reasonable and very good communicators. They have done a water heater for us, updated bathroom fixtures and checked all the PVC pipes under our house. I have met three different plumbers of theirs and every one of them was great.

Plumber installed a Rheem Tankless Water Heater in May of 2013. We started having problems at the beginning of May 2014 with tankless heater turning off and not heating water. Cottrell has been very responsive with multiple visits and has replaced a control panel but the heater is still not working properly. Updates to follow.

The appointment went well. Justin was very clear in his explanation of the problem and of how the problem would be remedied. He was on time. Called just before arriving. The work area was cleaned well after the installation. I was able to use a coupon from Angie's list and my total cost was $50. Will definitely call Cottrell again.

It went great. I have used only them since about 4 years ago when I first got their name off of Angie's List. They are awesome, they came out and put in my kitchen sink, when it started leaking from the faucet about 2 years later, they came out & said this like oring broke, replaced it & NO Charge!...I would not use ANYBODY else, and I have referred 3 other friends and family to them. They have used them and LOVE them. Can't ask for anything better. Great company, run by great people!!!

On 5/15/2014 my gas water heater stopped heating the water and the water appeared to look muddy. I called Cottrell and they sent a man out to look at the situation. At first he thought I had wanted to fix the problem but given that the hot water heater was fifteen years old, it was time for a replacement. He looked at the spot where the old hot water heater was and wanted to put a shed type water heater there but the space was too small. He said he would go to the office and discuss what could be done to replace the hot water heater outside the house. The next day a master plumber, Josh, stopped by the house and looked at the spot and suggested a tankless water heater which would have been perfect given the lack of space. I told him that I did not want to spent $3500.00 to $4000.00 on a tankless water heater and he said he could install one for $2350.00. He left to go the their warehouse to pick one up. It was a Rinnai. It took him a few hours to install it with the help of an assistant. He was very competent, explaining things as he went along even the keypad once the tank was on the wall. He really enjoys his work and does not cut corners. There is nothing sloppy about his workmanship. He even chisled out part of the brick making it easier for the electrician to run the wire of the keypad through the wall to inside the house. I rarely see people take such pride in their work as he did. The electrical work had to be done later which consisted of connecting the water heater to the electrical box outside and installing the keypad inside the house. Any contact with this company was always pleasant and one quickly gets the impression that they strive to make the customer happy which is also something one rarely gets these days. The electrical work cost $125.00. I would recommend this company to anyone who has a plumbing problem you will not be disappointed.

They showed up on time and the work went well. they were done by 2:00. Everything looks great, no more leaks, and I couldn't be more pleased. Jason is a very professional and pleasant young man. I wouldn't hesitate to call on him again.

The service provider arrived on time and was very professional. He examined all plumbing in the crawlspace thoroughly and determined that everything was done properly with no problems. He advised that we just needed to have our porch sealed again to prevent water from slowly entering the crawlspace. He stated that no work was needed so there was no charge for the service. I really appreciated his honesty and will use them in the future.

The service repair men checked the entire house for leaks and determined it had to be outside. After finding the leak, the shut off the water and started to determine where the leak was coming from. Upon seeing the previous work and I showed them the invoice of the original repair, they were able to determine it was a faulty installation. They even showed me the bent pipes used in the repair.

I called them to replace my hot water heater . The master plumber said it was just the pilot light. He lit and said no charge. My husband was so impressed, we called them back to replumb some areas. They showed us pictures. Very professional.

I called Cottrell & Co a couple days ago to replace a 11 yr. old kitchen faucet. From the first contact via the telephone and in-person, the company representatives were very professional. They called in advance of my appointment time and arrived early. The work was done in 40 minutes or so and done to my satisfaction. Mr. Hanvey seemed very knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions. I will use them again if I have plumbing needs.

Jason looked at my drippy faucet and made two recommendations. He fixed it right up and even looked at and fixed my kitchen faucet at no additional charge, which ended up be a very minor problem. He is a super nice guy and really seemed to want to make sure I was 100% satisfied with the work. I went with the cheaper option, but he gave me a 30 day guarantee in case it did not work and I needed a full replacement of parts. I will for sure use him again!

We have lived in our house for over 20 years. Although we had no urgent plumbing problem, we began to notice a few little drips here and there, and we wanted someone to inspect all of our pipes and fixtures. I contacted Cottrell & Co. after reading its AL reviews, and the person with whom I spoke was very courteous. I scheduled an appointment for a few days later, and Justin arrived at our house right on time. He examined all of the plumbing fixtures and pipes, both in and under the house, and thoroughly explained his findings. We found him to be very professional and honest, and his estimate seemed reasonable. We hired Cottrell & Co. to return the next week to complete the work. Justin and a co-plumber arrived on the scheduled day right on time, and within 2 hours, they had completed all of the agreed-upon tasks. We were pleased with the quality of their work, and we were pleasantly surprised that the work came in below the estimate. In all of our dealings with various companies working at our house, this experience was among the very best. This was the first time we used Cotrell & Co., but should the need arise, we will definitely use them again.

They scoped my sewage line and cleared a big obstruction. They explained everything clearly and professionally.

They were extremely pleasant and courteous. There was not a service fee charged because of my Angie's List coupon. The exterior drain pipe under ground turned out to be terra cotta and had collapsed with age. Since my problem could not be fixed I was not charged anything. That is amazing!

Great. They showed up exactly at the appointed time and were were professional and explained to me everything I needed to know. update May 11th: They never called us back. I should have read more about the no-call-backs. The price was fair. After they put it in the water heater it was making a sound like a grandfather clock ticking. It is not doing it right now so I didn?t call them back. But what if it was an emergency?

He replaced an old worn out faucet with a high quality fauvet and usedb plummers cement to finish the job. I could recommend Cottrell for any such plumbing work.olumbia
