Andy On Call

Surprisingly difficult to set up an appointment, even to get an estimate. Granted, our tenants aren't the most punctual either, but I would have thought that we could have made something work over the 3-week period we were trying. I'm sure they do great work.

.Alvin came a little early. and spent about an hour in being certain he understood what I wanted and what was necessary. He provided me with the cost of labor, I agreed and work was started immediately. When finished Alvin cleaned up and there was no debris left onsite.The work was perfect. Cost might be a little high, but the convenience of immediate reply and completion is valuable.

I have used Andy On Call for my rental properties. I had them fix a door that had been kicked in. They replaced the face plate and installed a deadbolt lock. They are prompt, friendly and very good at the work they do.

We called three time and each time were promised a call back to set up an appointment for an estimate. We never received a call back, so we called someone else.

It appears to be fixed. I say appears because there has not been a significant amount of rain BUT I am certain it is repaired.

I contacted this company for an estimate and no one has called me back. I will not contact them again. I went with another painter and very glad I did!

My experience was very good. They were very responsive and the person who came out was really nice.

It was fast and quick. He responded fast and quoted quickly. He was actually ready to come back and do it on the day he quoted because it was such an easy job. That was kind of nice. I didn’t dislike anything.

The Company sent Kevin to assist us. He arrived earlier than planned & was very professional. He was able to disconnect & move the large TV, rehang the mirror then reconnect the TV at another house without any issues. He also took off the old entertainment center we had. Kevin is a great handyman & I appreciate Andy on Call assigning him to us.

They did excellent work, cleaned up after themselves, and we are completely satisfied with the results. However, the price seemed a bit high.

Repairman arrived as scheduled. I showed him the light fixture that had fallen and told him what had happened that the fixture was hanging by the wires and I disconnected fixture from wires. I told him I wanted to re-install the fixture. He took a few minutes to size up the job then gave me an estimate. I asked if he could do it now and he said yes. 15 -20 minutes later fixture was installed and functioning properly.

I contacted the company to inform them of what I needed an estimate done on. I had to leave a message, however they did return my call shortly after. We set up an appointment, which I did not have to wait long for. The individual that came to my home was Dorsey, who was prompt, professional, and very nice. He gave me an estimate on two seperate jobs that I needed done. To remove a bathroom vanity, sink, and faucet and replace with a new one, to include new plumbing was quoted at $280. The estimate to replace two exterior doors was $525. He gave me an estimated time for how long each job would take, and provided me with coupons to use if I have the job done. A few days later I called and made an appointment to have the work done. When I went shopping for the new doors, I found out I would have to wait almost two weeks for the doors I wanted to come in. I contacted the company and cancelled my appointment until the doors would come in. I explained to them the situation and they were very nice, and told me to call them when I was ready, and unless Dorsey was already on another job, he could probably come the day after I called. The next morning, I received a call from Dorsey who gave me some helpful information for ordering the doors to save me some money. He also told me that when the doors came in he would go with me to the store on the day that I decided to have the work done, to make sure the doors would work and would pick them up for me. He then gave me his cell phone number in case I had anymore questions when I went to order the doors, and also stated he would be happy to speak with the associate at the store to make sure I ordered the right size doors. I was impressed with this company. The price they quoted for the bathroom was better than the price that two other companys had given me. I was hoping the price for the doors would have been better, but considering they informed me it would be an all day job, I guess its not that bad. Unfortunately, I have not been able to call the company back yet to get the work done, but plan on doing so after the holidays.

I have used Any on Call twice. The first was to repair storm damage and the second to install a bathroom fan in conjunction with a bathroom refinish. Both times were professional, prompt and quick.

When the man came to give me an estimate, he called into the office for a quote and told them I had a Lexus which I believe changed the quote. The car wasn't even mine, it belonged to someone who left it there while they were out of town. Also, they about doubled the area they were going to work on. Unfortunately for the person that came, I was in the room, heard the conversation and already had the square footage figured.

Called them on Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Kevin came out next day and gave me a labor quote. He went to the Home Improvement store and picked up all the supplies. He and his son came out on Thanksgiving day and Friday. It was done quickly. He cleaned everything up and was easy to work with.

Wooden railing on front porch had broken loose from brick flooring and siding. Came loose in several spots. Had never used Andy On Call before and had a coupon for them, so that I'd give it a try. The repairman showed up on time, gave me a very reasonable estimate. I said OK and asked when he could get to the job. He did it right then. Went to buy the lumber he needed and came right back and had it fixed within a couple of hours, then painted it. Excellent work and I would definitely use them again.

Andy on Call answered their phone promptly and arranged an appointment that worked with my schedule. Dorsey arrived on time for the appointment (which was a Saturday morning) and was very professional in his interactions. We were prepared to hire the company but we had another contractor come later that afternoon who offered to unstick the windows for us on the spot.

The guy showed up on time the first day, wrote me an estimate, and I accepted this estimate. He then showed up the next day and worked for less than 4 hours removing the ceiling tiles. He needed to borrow my trailer for the debris he was removing from the house. He said he needed ME to haul off the debris and dump it somewhere. He said he didn't have a 2" ball for the trailer. I told him to find a place to dump the trash and get that done in the next few days. He showed up the next day without the trailer hitch, again, wanting me to pay him. I told him to come back the next day. Instead of finishing the demolition job (he had only removed the ceiling tiles that were in the middle of the ceiling, he removed none of the nails from the ceiling or any of the crown molding), he left. He came back the next day, at which point, my father was furious. He claimed he had done 15 hours of work!! Unbelievable. Also, he claimed he didn't have a 2" trailer hitch...again. I walked over to his truck and he had a 2" trailer hitch attached to it! He claimed he didn't know that was on there, then he hauled the stuff off. He got $400.00 out of me for his 4 hours (maximum) of work. The owner of the business did nothing to help us and did not attempt to make things right. He simply allowed this to happen and let it go. Also, one day the guy got there before I did. While he was talking to my electrician he claimed he was only doing drywall for now and that was not something he wanted to do. Also, he claimed he was of the philosophy that he would do as little as possible to get his money. This alarmed my electrician and he felt compelled to tell me this. The man Andy on Call sent to me was a lazy drunk who had zero work ethic or appreciation for work. They are very unprofessional and you should NOT let them in your home. Don't trust the people they send.

It was a wonderful experience. I felt the fees were very reasonable, the work done well and I have no complaints. Rick and Roger were very competent and very professional. It is wonderful knowing that I finally have a great home repair service I can count on!

When we called to set up the appointment we told them what items we needed someone to address. We needed some minor wood replacement, some bathtub caulking, some minor wall repairs and painting in a bathroom, and someone to look at aome linoleum coming up at a seam. They sent a handyman out who was allergic to paint fumes so he could not paint. He looked at the linoleum and said we needed to call someone else and the job he did with the caulking was not a very good job. He was told to look at the wood that needed to be replaced and see how much damage was there. He was also asked to fill in cracks in the wood. He repced two pieces of wood and told us we could fill in the rest with putty. We are moving and wanted someone to do this so we would not have to take the time to do it ourselves. He was at our home about two hours and charged over $400. He used very little materials including scrap wood for the wood repairs. My wife is a perfectionist and she was very unhappy.

He is very honest and communicated well. He will not do any work he does not consider safe. He made the new wall blend in very nicely. He did a great job on painting.

Andy On Call was on time. He gave me an estimate. I accepted because, I needed a new mail box. He was very professional and did an excellent job.

They have been just great. They have been just amazing, very affordable, and very attentive customer service wise. There was an issue with my shower after they fixed it and they weren’t sure if it was going to stick or not. They came back and took care of it for free and spent a good amount of time just to make sure everything was right, so I was extremely happy with them. I am actually going to give them a call again because I have landed in an old house and there is always something going on. I spent $120 on the most recent service they provided. The job went great overall and everything is in working condition and they actually gave me some great advice on some other things, so I thought I would call them, back. It was a very great experience. If was having a lot of work done on my house, I always felt it was pretty risky calling in a handyman or a handyman company, which is why I looked on the list for guidance and they were spot on.

Called for an estimate. Came out at scheduled appointment time 2 days later. Gave a satisfactory estimate on the spot. I OK'd repairs and he started the repairs then. Had to go get some supplies, but finished the work within an hour and a half. Very satisfied.
