Description of Work: Repair the ceiling in the bathroom they did a very good job

Description of Work: I was looking for someone to take down 2 pair of old, wooden exterior shutters and put up new vinyl shutters that I had purchased. This was for a 1 story home. Within 2 days of contacting them I received a return call. I explained what I needed and they informed me that they would send someone by to look at the job and get back to me. In about 2 more days they called me back and their estimate was almost 3 times the amount that I was able to get the job done for.

Description of Work: When calling to set up an appointment it is hard to get a live person on the line you have to leave messages. When I did get someone on the phone it was the owner. I asked him to schedule an appointment and tell me a date and time and I will make sure someone is at the house. The Owner got angry stated they were not an emergency only company. I again stated I will accept any appointment given, if he was not able to give me one at the time of the conversation please call me and leave a message on the phone with date and time of the appointment because my cell phone may not ring when I am in certain areas of my job. The Owner became even more upset and told me to find someone else. I then received a phone call back from the person who usually returns the calls and she stated it was a misunderstanding, the person I spoke with was the owner, it is ok for him to be the way he is in so many words. I declined to continue with them. Being an Owner does not make it ok to be rude. Not one time did any one apologize.

Description of Work: Called to check outside plug (he replaced breaker), disconnect bathroom fan (done) , and replace breaker in fuse box (done) . Charge $369. The outside plug still didn't work properly so we called him to check outside plug again. He said the outside plug box needed replaced for $85. I said ok and then he came back and said he didn't have one on his truck so the price would be $145 because he had to go to Lowes to get one. We said no. We got no offer to repair the problem as warranty says on receipt. No refund, etc. for previous service. We will not call them again.

Description of Work: The problem was with the corner sidling molding that was damaged when the lawn guy hit it with the weed wacker. Kevin can on time and looked over the situation- he called it in and got a quote- he came back 2 days later as scheduled and did the job quickly and correctley. I was extremely pleased with the work he did, but felt that the price was a little high, but I am pleased that the job was done right the 1st time. I will definetly use Angie's List again the next time I need something done.

Description of Work: I had used this company before with good results. Called this morning at 8am and was told the receptionist would call me back in 5 minutes. I called back at 9am and talked to the receptionist. She said "if someone was coming my way" they would do the service. I need my plumbing fixed -I can't wash dishes or clothes and I am not willing to "chance" if someone is coming my way. Very unprofessional!

Description of Work: Repaired some missing popcorn ceiling. Looks great! Did work same day as estimate. Fantastic job Andy on Call.

Description of Work: Came on time gave estimate, went after materials, came right back and installed the handicap rail. Very clean, professional, polite and efficient. would definitely use them again!
