Everything started out great at first, with what seemed like a fair quote and they started work right away. A month in, however, the industriousness tapered off to only one visit a week and the owner, Jodie, kept asking for more money up front for the cost of building materials. The price kept going up and up. We ended up paying him 18k of a 20k job, and the work is not even halfway finished and they have completely stopped working. He no longer responds to our calls and we have not seen them at all in over a week. When we called the labor board it turns out they are not even licensed even though they said they are. The work they have done might not even be up to code. Looks like we just got swindled.
Description of Work: Our back deck was in a bad state and needed to be torn down and remodeled.
