AFFORDABLE PAINTING

We had him quote on remodeling the master shower. The quote stated we wanted tile from floor to ceiling. After tearing out the old tile, he said that it would cost extra to tile to the ceiling. When confronted with the written quote, he asked for a copy (he had already been given one) and went ahead with the extra tile. After paying him 1/3 in the beginning, and 1/3 in the middle of the project, he then asked for final payment before completing the grout and installing the door. When I refused to pay until the job was finished, he said "So you're going back on your word and you're not going to pay me", I said, " I will be glad to pay you when the job is finished." He then picked up all his tools and stormed off the job. I got an email a week later asking when the custom door would be ready to be installed. He did finally complete the project.
