Yesterdays Glass Service

I feel like he is a con-artist

Hired this company to replace a window in my condo which I was selling. Owner responded quickly and had a employee at the condo to measure the same day. The company is located some 50 miles from my town and it was explained and agreed to that there would be a $50 service call fee which would be non-refundable if I decided to not use their service but if I did use them then the fee would be subtracted from the total. I was told that it would take approx. 2 weeks to order the window glass and I would be called to set up a time for it to be installed. After approx. 3 weeks passed, I called and again spoke with the owner and was advised that he had to fire the employees that took my window measurements and that he had not ordered the window but would do so immediately. Another 2 weeks passed with no word from the owner, so I called him back. He now stated that the window had been ordered and arrived at his office but it was the wrong style window from the picture I had sent him earlier. He stated that he had the window already reordered and that it was to arrive in the next day or 2 and that he would contact me when it did. The next day I called him about the window and was advised that it had not arrived yet. This was on June 15th 1019. Since this date I have called his office number and his personal cellphone number numerous times with no answer and no voice mail available. Now when calling the phone numbers it goes directly to a voice mailbox which has not been set up and a message can not be left. This has been going on since the first week of May 2019 and I WOULD NOT RECOMMED THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.
