PALMER'S REFINISHING

He picked it up from our old house and delivered it to our new house. He obviously takes tremendous pride in his work. The table looked like new! Mr. Palmer is a gem.

Table had damaged surface from deep scratches and two burn marks. Mr. Palmer provide an accurate estimate by phone. He came to pick up the table at the agreed date and time. He returned with the table about a week & half later, at the agreed date and time. All damage was sanded away and the new finish was a perfect match. The result was a nicely finished piece that we are proud to show off

I cannot say enough nice things about this company. They did an amazing job - from the preparation to the actual restoration. I was provided plenty of samples before I made my color selection. They were extremely thorough with taping and covering surfaces in order to avoid getting stain all over the rest of my kitchen. They were always on time and an absolute pleasure to speak with. I officially have my dream kitchen thanks to them and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. The change was quite drastic and I am so glad I chose Palmer's Refinishing to do the job!

They gave me an estimate over the phone. They were very customer service oriented. They were on time to pick the table up and pleasant while they were out. They gave me a date for the work to be done, but it has not yet been completed.

I sent pictures of my furniture and received an immediate estimate. It was the least expensive estimate that I received included pick up and delivery and tax. They came to get the furniture the day that I decided to use them. It only took a week to complete. They did a fantastic job. Al and Scott were personable, warm and best of all perfectionists! They were responsive, punctual and very professional. They tried very hard to please and did. Couldn't have asked for an easier experience and my tables and chairs look better than new!

Came the day after I called. Picked up on Monday - all returned on Friday as promised. Great experience all the way around!! A ++++++

I had purchased a very expensive outdoor set - and decided to refinish it my self.....BAD MOVE! What a mess...the Palmer family came to the rescue. This was a BIG job - my neighbors are still talking about how wonderful the furniture looks. This was a BIG set (10 top plus two benches) and it was done efficiently, effectively and at reasonable cost. I forgot to be home when they delivered the set back to me....they waited an hour for me and were very nice and professional - even if I did not deserve it. While they waited, they fixed a fence that needed it. This was a fabulous experience!

I was watching my son's monster dogs when they chose to use the 4 legs of my pool table as a new chew toy, scrapping them down to wood chips. Nathan was referred to me by his wife who also happens to be a terrific dog walker (ironic). The work is fantastic, I can't even tell where his work begins and the original leg ends.

The Palmers are always fantastic! They gave me a quote over the phone and stuck to their price. They pick up and deliver! They even offered to set the bed up for me once it was finished. The quality of their work is outstanding. They have done numerous jobs for me and I will continue to use them again and again.

Nathan Palmer responded to my e-mail inquiry immediately. He came to the house examined the cabinets and the work needed, discussed my options and proceeded to take one of the doors to give me a sample. Once I received the sample and agreed to have them do the job, they gave me a date when they would begin and explained the process from start to finish. The day before they were to begin, they called to advise me their time of arrival. They arrived on time and immediately began. All of the cabinet doors and drawer fronts were to be removed from the house and refinished at their shop. The balance of the cabinet refinishing was to be done on site. They covered every surface, floors, ceilings, pot rack, etc. that could possibly be damaged by the work they were going to do in the house. They blocked off the rest of the house and the other half of the kitchen to keep the dust in the areas where they were working. They were right on schedule. They were neat and cleaned up beautifully after themselves. They advised that the work at the shop would take 2 days and they arrived back the morning of the third day to install everything. I could not be happier. They were one of the most professional companies I have ever had the pleasure to work with and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

A great experience from start to finish. Heavy grained oak cabinets were transformed into a beautiful off-white that brightened our kitchen dramatically. Mr Palmer is easy to do business with and aims to please.

It was a completely positive experience. He was there within a couple of days after talking to him on the phone to look at the furniture to give me an estimate. Within a week he brought back the furniture, which looked beautiful. He was a super nice guy to work with and I would absolutely use them again.

They were very prompt, they did what they said they were going to do at the price they said it was going to be. My cabinets look beautiful. They did a wonderful job. It was a team of a father and 2 sons. They reassured me that they would come back and fix any problems if there were any.

Nathan provided the estimate based on the number of cabinet doors/drawers. Afterward, he came out to the house to see the cabinetry and set up an approximate time to do the work. Overall, the work done on site took a little over two days. I was very impressed with the great care taken in the prep work-everything was covered thoroughly with paper and plastic-this task alone took almost a day. The actual refinishing work done on site was finished in one day; my cabinet doors were refinished in their shop. Everything was cleaned up neatly when the job was done. I told Nathan that my cabinets look better than new, and they truly do. The kitchen table looks wonderful. Great job!

Excellent work, my cabinets look brand new! The entire process took one week start to finish. They were prompt and cleaned up my kitchen at the end of each work day.

When we began our kitchen remodel process, we were told by two general contractors that we needed to gut our 20 year old solid birch cabinets and start over. They were in excellent condition aside from a slightly worn finish from use. I was convinced we could keep the cabinets, but I worried about finding the proper person to strip and re-stain them. I found Palmer s Refinishing on Angie s List and from the first contact I had with Mr. Palmer, I knew his company was the right one for this job. He gave a quote over the phone based on the number of doors and drawers, then came to the house and explained the process and took two doors back to the shop to do samples. He and his crew arrived on a Monday morning and the entire job was finished by Friday afternoon, just as promised. The quality of their work was flawless the cabinets look brand new. This is a family business and they pride themselves on customer service. They want you to be pleased and we certainly are. They were a joy to work with and I highly recommend them.

He took 6 hours (as he said he would) and did a very professional job. He takes a lot of pride in his work and it shows. He taped all the hardware and the inside seals to make sure the smell would not get into the house. When he sprayed the polyurethane (after several coats on the door itself) he did it with the door shut, so the small edge of the door was not polyurethaned, but I agreed this was not material. Highly recommended.

They were extremely pleasant to deal with, prompt in providing service, and punctual on the pick-up and return dates. They provided pickup and delivery without extra charge. The estimate was accurate to the penny, and the work was perfect. I would recommend to anyone that they contract with Palmer's. They were just great!

Mr. Palmer came out initially to see the areas in my house I wanted refinished. We discussed some possible stain colors from literature he had. He took several cabinet doors with him, refinished them and returned them for me to determine which color I liked. I asked for additional samples which they were happy to provide. Based on the work I needed done, a price was quoted. A date was set for the work to begin. The Palmers worked in my home about four days that week and were also refinishing the cabinet doors and drawers at the same time in their shop. On Friday, they returned to hang the doors, add the hinges and make any color adjustments needed. They did a fantastic job! They were able to match the paneling and pocket doors to the cabinet color which looks great. My kitchen looks brand new!!! The lighter color I chose is a great improvement over the dark wood I had previously. This family-owned business does great work and are prompt with phone calls, communication and very congenial to work with.

Palmer's did a fantastic job of refinishing the damaged top and matching the finish as close to the original as possible. In my opinion the finish is better than the original. Not only that the top had minor imperfections that Palmer's was able to completely sand and refinish to better than new. That's terrific! We are very pleased with the quality of the work performed and the professionalism of everyone at Palmer's. I would not hesitate to call them back in a heartbeat should we need this type of service again in the future. A+++++++.

Palmer's picked up and delivered my stools. The turn around time was very quick. The stools were perfect with additional finish work (ie. added felt to the bottom so my floors would be protected and reinforced the legs). It's nice to find good old fashion customer service. You will not go wrong with Palmer's Refinishing. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to others. Beautiful work!

Great from start to finish. The Palmers are respectful of your time, your furniture and your home. I've worked with them before, so when I needed to refinish some old bedroom furniture, of course I called them. They called me back the same afternoon to give me a quote and to schedule the pick up. They came to pick up the furniture when they said they would. The work was done sooner than promised. The furniture looked more beautiful than I had imagined. And of course the quote that I was originally given over the phone was what it actually cost. I will trust the Palmers with all of my furniture repair and refinishing needs.

Great company to work with. The Palmers are very professional and provide quality workmanship. Very customer oriented. Samples were done prior to starting work to make sure I was pleased. Cabinets came out beautiful. I also had them repair a chair and table top. Both also came out beautiful. The chair was especially amazing because my dog had chewed it and I did not think it could be repaired. It looks as good as new.

Great job. Nice to my dog and professional. He also made sure the carpet was covered when he did the job.
