The unfriendly, inconsiderate customer service representatives (plural) tried to muscle us for another months worth of service that we DID NOT GET and then had the nerve to charge us a bounced check fee on top of it (we stopped the automatic withdrawal from our bank). There was more deceitfulness and unethical business practices that went on along the way. I would NEVER recommend this company to do ANYTHING for me again. BEWARE!

The technician arrived on time. The expertise of the tech was evident from the time he walked in the door. We were provided with a level of professional service that put comfort in knowing our home would be secure. The tech went through every detail of explaining what he was doing and how it all worked. He was also very detailed in showing how to connect the wireless cameras to my home network. After the installation was complete we felt very confident in how to work and utilize our new system.

everything went very smooth while the technician was installing our neighbors system Rhett our sales rep came by our house and the very next day our technician Billy Rourk showed up right on time and did a great job for us. Its good to know that Powerhome technologies has a local office that serves us if we ever need assistance.

We recently purchased our home and were in the market for home security services. We had decided to go with the company who currently serviced the home for the prior owners but after trying repeatedly attempting to contact them with no return call we came home to a card from Power Home Technologies in our door. We contacted the representative and he called back within the hour! We met with him and scheduled our install for the following weekend. They worked around our schedule and the installer was punctual and informative. I highly recommend PHT for all of your security needs!

We've had a rash of car break-in's in our neighborhood and decided it was finally time to get a security system installed in the house. Rhett, our customer service representative, has lived in the neighborhood for his whole life and added a nice personal, local touch his sales approach. He responded right away to my request for an estimate and was there the next day to walk me through everything. No pressure sales tactics and he took the time to understand what we needed and were looking for. Unlike our previous experiences with ADT where I've sat on the phone 20 minutes just to talk someone. I got scheduled for installation within 3 days and Billy the lead technician was a pro. He explained everything thoroughly and has been doing this for over 19 years. Installation was quick and easy. Also, the equipment and enrollment process was pretty impressive tech-wise. I'm looking forward to the peace of mind of having the system and the overall experience so far has been excellent. I definitely recommend Power Home Technologies due to the professionalism, local feel and technology and support behind their equipment (Monotronix - 5 star rating).

It went very well he put in the system and explained everything to us so that we could understand. He was very profesional and had a great personality.

I have been using them for about a year. I like all their service and have no problem with them. With their camera system I can check into their house at any time. If people go there when I am not there I can check to see who has been at my house. I have never had any issues with their service. At times my camera won't work, but I think it had to do with their wireless service. My internet sometimes goes in and out, but other than that everything works fine. I think it is a real reasonable price.

They had been okay. They did a free installation but we pay them $45 a month or something like that and there is no cost when we have any trouble or anything. Their last service went pretty well but sometimes it is a little hard to get their service, like to get somebody out to check up on things, because they are a small company.

I tried to cancel the service through their telephone service but they had me on hold for 15 minutes. They kept transferring me here and there so finally I had to go to the bank to put a stop payment on it for them to get the message.

I have had a good experience with them. It was cheap and very painless. They have been really responsive so far. They were to charge me a $50 install fee, because there was an existing security system that was really old, and they upgraded it, and wired it to the doors and everything. They waived the install fee, and started a monthly fee. I know the sales rep because I bought the house from his family. I don't use the service, my tenants wanted it, and they pay for it.

They installed it 2 years ago. You pay a monthly charge. The guy who came out was super nice. I was much more disabled then, than I am even now, and he was caring about me, and I was probably on a walker at the time, and he was just totally caring, and explained that I could wear the thing on my neck or bracelet in case I fell down. I felt so secure with that.

I have had a good experience with them. We just pay a monthly fee, and it depends on how many remote controls you get to set your alarm. We don't have any dislikes, we didn't appreciate that they raised the price only after a year, but we don't have any dislikes. They came in, and they were very professional about installing it, and the guy explained everything to us about how it runs, and we haven't had any issues with it at all.

Since we have signed up we have seen so many other providers that are a lot less a month. The sales lady was good at her job and the installation guy was very professional, but I still feel like I'm being ripped off for paying $55 a month. The touch screen wall pad is nice, but after a while the novelty wears off and you realize that the original button pad works just as well and wasn't worth the monthly upgrade cost. They originally wanted a 5yr contract, but we requested a 3yr. We were also told that they had incentives for referring people, so shortly after we signed up we referred our sister who had the system installed and she gave our account info to them. We never received anything for the referral.
