I had heard good things about Powell Roofing from colleagues. So since I had a leaky roof, I contacted them online on a Sunday in December. James emailed me back on Monday, and came to inspect the roof and gave me a quote on Tuesday. He brought a brochure and sample shingles with him and explained the entire process to me. And on Thursday the following week, the crew came to the house at 8 a.m. and were done by 2 p.m. They cleaned the yard meticulously and made sure there were no nails left on the ground. The crew were organized and efficient. On the following day, James came by to pick up the old roof and make sure everything went well. He also checked that there were no nails left on the driveway. The entire process was very smooth and stress-free. James is friendly and professional, and I highly recommend Powell Roofing.

I seriously can't stress enough how quick, easy and amazing my experience was with Powell Roofing! I called the owner in a panic about some roof repairs I needed done quickly, in order to move forward with the sale of my home and not only was he able to send someone out THAT SAME DAY, but the price was absolutely unbeatable! Called Powell Roofing and received a quote very quickly using satellite technology to measure our roof. We got additional quotes and found Powell to be very competitive. Their quick response and professionalism won us over in our decision. The entire process was great and I would use them again and would definitely recommend their services.

When I was finally able to make contact with this company, they said they would call me the NEXT DAY. They NEVER called. I can’t rate their work, just the lack of response. That’s okay though; because I contacted Anderson Roofing and their response and workmanship was absolutely amazing. I would have called them first, but they had so many positive reviews(which was impressive, of course); I just WRONGLY assumed they wouldn’t have time to do the work. I was sure wrong on that score. Team showed up early and did the roof in one day and the rest on day 2. They use the best products made by Certainteed exclusively. James Powell , is a CertainTeed certified Master Shingle Applicator. Replaced shingles, replaced bad wood, installed new pipe/rain collars , new flashing, water and ice shield, new underlayment, new aluminum drip edge, new ridge vents with capping. Replaced curb mounted skylights with Velux fixed skylights. Replaced bad fascia, resided the fireplace chase with Hardie siding, put on new chase cover and repaired a bad piece of T1-11 siding. They cleaned the area, picked up all nails and debris, hauled it all way. The job looks awesome. Couldn't be happier with their workmanship which is warranted for 10 years! Thanks to James Powell, Brad, Bobby, Charles, Wade and the entire team ! This is the 4th roof on my house. Wish I could have had James do the other 3. My roof has never looked better! Highly recommend.

It went great. When I called them they came out the next day and gave me an estimate and did the work just a few days later. They were very punctual and professional. I have never had a contractor respond this quickly.

I emailed a request for proposal on a Sunday afternoon to three roofing companies on Angie's List. James Powell responded by email that evening to say he would submit a proposal the next day. The proposal arrived and was comprehensive and complete and competitively priced. The company web site provides a large and informative array of photographs of houses they have done. The job was done in one day by a highly competent crew that worked in excellent coordination. Every facet of the contract and work was thoroughly professional.

Powell Roofing did an outstanding job! James is also the MOST RESPONSIVE contractor I have ever worked with! I would call and leave a message and always got a call back quickly! He answered all of our questions, and we had many, quickly. A roof isn’t cheap and he had no problem with explaining everything clearly. I would definitely hire him again!

It went very well. James Powell is very professional. The install team was just as professional. Would definitely use him again in the future and would totally recommend to anybody need repair or replacement of their roof system.

Got an immediate response in our request to have repairs done to our roof at Energy One America. Received a quote right away from Powell and as a purchasing agent, I did request other companies to give us a quote and none of them responded in a timely manner. Job was completely within a week and we’ve had zero issues! If we do in the future, Powell is who we’ll call.

We had a great experience having our roof replaced. The crew was very punctual and professional. They also did a great job cleaning everything up afterwards. My husband noticed something not quite right in one spot about the metal trim on the shed that he had them do, and they came out the very next day and fixed it. It was very minor, but they fixed it right up. I would certainly hire them again or recommend them to any of my friends. He also did my brother's house and garage and they gave us an upgrade for having all the work done.

Outstanding experience from scheduling the first quote, to the very end of the job!!! James & his crew were prompt, professional and extremely courteous throughout the entire job. They worked diligently and quickly. They took extra precautions to ensure all the debris was disposed of properly and that my property looked the same as when they arrived. I contacted Mr. James Powell of Powell Roofing LLC on January 8, 2018 to get an estimate to replace all the shingles on my garage and storage room. He was very prompt in getting back to me about doing an estimate. The day he looked at the job he gave me a written estimate. At the same time, I requested estimates from two other roofing companies for the same job, one who had done an excellent job on my house and another who had not done work for me before. The gentleman who had never done work for me came and looked at the work but never bothered to get back with me with an estimate. The gentleman who had done excellent work on the house never bothered getting in touch with me to look at the job and do an estimate. That was why it was refreshing to work with Mr. Powell. He did what he said he was going to do, a real rarity these days. He gave me a written estimate which estimate I thought was very fair considering how large my garage and storage room are. And the roof was in pretty poor shape, needing a lot of wood rot repair before the new shingles could be applied. The crew showed up on time, ripped off the old roof and tore off all the rotten sheathing, soffits, and fascia. All of the rotten sheathing, soffits and fascia were replaced with new wood and plywood. They installed a winter guard ice and water shield and diamond deck synthetic underlayment. They replaced the old shingles with new Certain Teed shingles and new hip and ridge capping. They also installed a new aluminum drip edge and Certain Teed ridge vent. In addition, they removed and replaced all damaged flashing as needed. The bare wood of the soffits and fascia was painted after installation. Mr. Powell also repaired, at no extra cost, a gable on the storage shed whose siding was all rotten and replaced the siding with Hardie board for a more permanent fix. His crew cleaned up the area extremely well after the job was complete. I am extremely pleased with Mr. Powell and his crew’s professionalism and the work he did for me. Mr. Powell is honest, punctual, and as I mentioned before, he does what he tells you he is going to do. The quality of his work is excellent. I would definitely hire his company again.

The work was very quick, cleanup was professionally done with minimal debris left over. They did a wonderful job keeping me informed of all the steps on the process, timeline, and scheduling. Invoices were punctual and the estimates were done on time or early.

Powell offers a great price, professional service, and a hard working team that gets the job done quickly. James Powell, owner, communicated thoroughly throughout the whole process. We will be using Powell for replacement Windows shortly.

Response was quick, guys work very hard, very honest, got the job done and I am a happy camper.

We had a little leak. They're really good. I would use him again, but I can't get a hold of him.
