Description of Work: We recently had an irrigation system and sod placed in our yard. Palmetto landscaping did a phenomenal job! From the first meeting with Kevin to the installation with Steven, Drew, Jose and Antonio, they stayed professional and dedicated to their work. We will definitely use them for future projects.

Description of Work: They came twice (3 times actually). I needed a drain in the back yard to minimize the swamp after a rain, plus the house came with layer & layers of lanscape fabric covered with rubber mulch. They did the front yard first--removing mulch & most of the landscape fabric, then applied about 3"-4" brown mulch. I was happy & the yard looked good. After several calls, they finally came for the big job--the drain and the backyard fabric, mulch removal and pine straw this time. They used a trencher for the drain, hit my shed and mangled the corner. My contactor was here and saw it happen, and they adamantly denied doing it. Claimed it was already there. Most of the landscape fabric had not been removed and they didn't mulch an area that I requested. So they came back, took up a small amount more of the landscape fabric and mulched a whole different area of yard than I requested. (And we walked it through first.) I couldn't be bothered to get them back. I did leaven leave Kevin (he's conveniently often out of the office) a couple of emails about the quality of their work, but I got no response. Then when when I found 2 more large areas of fabric, I called and left a message. At this point I would like some of my money back. I still have to pay someone to get rid of that fabric. Plus, I found another area of the stuff just the other day. My annoyance level is high! But the drain does seem to be doing it's job, but I wouldn't use them again! |

Description of Work: Lawn service every other week and they always show up and do what we ask without complaint.

Description of Work: We had a paver patio and fire pit installed along with a landscape design plan drawn for backyard. | |Our experience was pretty good. It did take us reaching out several times after the initial visit to receive a quote and communication on how to move forward with a contract.

Description of Work: THEY MOWED LAWN , EDGED,TRIMMED, REMOVED DEAD BRANCHES, PUT DOWN FRESH PINE STRAW, AND CLEANED UP YARD.

Description of Work: After making an offer which we accepted, we tracked them down 5 times to get a date to do the work which we still don't have 2+ or 3 months later. We have followed up with them, NEVER, bar once, them with us, and only after a threat a month and a half ago to pull the project, spoke with several folks there who promised to call back, and never did other than to obfuscate and delay. Frankly of all the contractors we've worked with on a very significant project, they were the worst and I cannot in conscience recommend them as they never showed up much less delivered. I can understand if they don't want or are not capable of the job (then why did they bid), I can understand their other priorities (we did not not ask for immediate service), I can understand unavoidable delays (then why not call), but I cannot understand no workable response whatsoever to calls, emails and the like. I would never recommend these folks to anybody. If you have a piddly project you may want to call them, but if you expect professionalism keep looking. It's really disappointing after an enthusiastic first meeting but it's all come apart since. We hired them following glowing reports in Angles list which raises the question of the integrity of those reviews. |

Description of Work: We requested a quote for an irrigation and drain for our yard. A designer came out, took a check for $350 and has never provided any info. The pictures via the website look great but to get a check and not provide anything in return is a poor business practice

Description of Work: Called and left voice mail asking them to contact me and never received a reply. I do see this company working other projects in the neighborhood, and they may be very good. But, I'm not impressed with the no call back.

Description of Work: Prepped the ground after design consult with rep and crew, installed stone, cleaned area. All the work was performed in highly professional manner.

Description of Work: They cut down 7 pine trees 12 - 24 inches in diameter plus another 45 trees.

Description of Work: Sprinkler system installed, sod in front yard, new mulch, indigenous trees to South Carolina--just a great experience, super professional, and willing to work with us while we waited for the rain to stop (3 weeks of rain endured). Would definitely recommend and use this service again in the future.

Description of Work: Palmetto installed a Belgard paver patio. They were prompt, professional and did a great job.

Description of Work: After looking at the work after completion I noticed most areas were done well and some not so good and Mr. Philbott never came back to give the sod treatments per the contract.
